  1. Sorry, should have included this...
  2. What's the deal with all these kids with hyphenated last names? Are they married women??? Also, what's the deal with ovalteen?
  3. I love Watkins, but am absolutely against trading up in the first round (esp that high) for anything other than a QB. We have lots of needs, be patient, take the best guy when your pick comes up.
  4. Haha. Awesome!! Definitely what I did last year!
  5. 100% agree. Would be a dream scenario and I think Dallas might come calling!
  6. Haha...anytime you can take the 5th best tackle at number 9, you gotta do it. On the same note, anytime you can take a guy in the second round that's the least valuable position in the NFL at the only position were fairly solid, you also gotta do it. But, do like you're screen name!
  7. You know what the best QBs in the 2015 draft will be? Wow. That's impressive. It's a good article and it's spot on. But you're point about prospects in this draft is the most impt reason why not to trade up. We need players. We've got tons on needs. Stay put and take BPA.
  8. Because they would still get the 9 pick and another. So maybe Evans is there. Would you rather have Evans, SJ, and another pick in the draft or just Watkins. Personally, I don't want the Bills to give away picks in what's supposed to be one of the deepest drafts in a long time and we have a ton of needs.
  9. The lack of critical thinking skills in the Twitter age truly amazes me. It really does. There's no debating two facts: 1) Sterling is a scumbag and a racist. 2) His girlfriend is also a terrible person. Donald trump was stating both!! Not only was what she did probably illegal, but also as low of a blow as possible. A vindictive, gold digging girlfriend tapes an argument and sends it to TMZ. But in this day and age, it doesn't surprise me that people are jumping all over a tweet of a slice of a quote from Donald Trump rather than reading the actual article and using it to justify why he'd be a bad owner for the Bills.
  10. AM or PM? Also, definitely sue. I can't even begin to imagine how traumatizing it was to get that text. Maybe $3m?
  11. Classic response to the trade down post. If you don't have the entire scenario mapped out for a trade down, then you get roasted. There should be a disclaimer that when someone suggests a trade down, what they in fact mean is that Whaley and Co would love to trade back if they can find the right deal.
  12. It's frankly embarrassing how negative people are toward the idea that Donald Trump has an interest in buying the bills. You don't like his politics? His personality? His necktie? Gimme a break. The guy is a successful person and has publicly stated he'd keep the team in Buffalo. What more do you want? Ok...a winner? Well, the Trump empire is almost entirely built on a brand. That brand is success, luxury, exclusivity, high-end. Sounds like a few characteristics Id love to associate with the Bills. While nothing is guaranteed and from a fan standpoint Trump would present a few risks, I'd still love him as an owner and take that chance if it were up to me.
  13. Trick question, they are both terrible. Agree with this. I kind of like kiper, probably because he's synonymous with the draft for me. But overall both espn and nfln are pretty bad. I don't need a crew of 15 people, special touch screens that the hosts struggle to use correctly, twitter feeds from random people, or cameras in every kids home with their entourage. Just give me info, good hosts, rumors, and the picks. KISS, espn and nfln!
  14. Fortunately for the Bills and life in general, the general public is not very intelligent.
  15. The New Jersey Mullets. Sweet.
  16. Who really knows. I'm hopeful, but realistic. It's way to early to make an informed projection and anyone who tries to is simply guessing!
  17. Exactly. Checking him out in case he falls (a la every QB last year except EJ) is a great idea. I've been an advocate of taking another guy this year since we only have one QB on the roster. Tuel should be in the Arena League, Thad is ok for a spot start, Dixon...uh no.
  18. I think it just tells us that they are setting themselves up for flexibility. They don't want to be pressed into reaching for a player at a position of desperate need. They want to feel that they can trade back if they don't like the players when number 9 comes up. So far, I like what they've done. For example, if Robinson, Clowney, Mack, Matthews, Watkins, and Evans are gone by the time the Bills pick, who would they take? Ebron? Would they want to take Lewan even though they think there might be a big drop and have him rated as more of a late round pick? Same with Barr or Mosley? That's not to say they've used FA to fill all needs with great players, you can never do that. But at least they have serviceable options that allow them to go where the BPA is.
  19. Fair enough. I put more weight in last year's schedule as opposed to projecting what will be a tough schedule the upcoming year. But I think you're point and the point others raised is a good one. It really seems that after the Pats, Broncos, and Colts, the rest of the AFC is pretty wide open and aside from a couple shockers (jags, oak) I wouldn't be surprised to see any other team jump into the playoffs.
  20. I think the AFC is very weak, compared to the NFC. No team is really scary, like the Seahawks, Niners, or Saints. IMHO: 1) Pats - biggest improvement in the offseason by adding Revis 2) Colts - Luck is about to hit his vaulting into superstardom period of his career. 3) Broncos - Still formidable, I just think that losing in the SB last year is going to take a lot out of this team. Wouldn't be surprised to see them battling for a WC. 4) Cincy - Still the best in that division. Can't put it together in the playoffs. 5) Chargers - Younger and more talented than the Chiefs. Chiefs had an incredibly easy schedule last year. Look for big things from Rivers in year 2 of new offense this year. 6) Totally up for grabs - I could see almost every team except Jacksonville and Oakland jump into this spot.
  21. Excellent post. So much better than the "freeman sucks because of one game in minny" posts.
  22. According to Forbes his net worth is nearly $4bn dollars.
  23. Exactly what you said. Baffles me how you can find negators no matter what. Bills: Buffalo, we found an owner that's going to buy the team, keep them here, bring a national presence to the team, has enough money to spend to win, is a NY State resident and has publicly stated the Bills are the only true team in NY State, is close friends with many former stars from the team, and is a real estate mogul who might be interested in using the team as a centerpiece of local redevelopment initiative. Average fan: Really, that's great! What's his/her name? Bills: It's Donald Trump! Average fan: forget it! He's too loud, has a tv show I hate, went bankrupt 20 years ago before becoming even more successful and I hate his hair. And he's a republican! Oy vey!
  24. Interesting take from CNNSI here. Have Bills taking Mack at #9. First time I've seen him dropping this far. http://nfl.si.com/20...el-3/?eref=sihp This guy also has Ebron falling to the Pats. Mack to the Bills, Ebron to the Pats?? Seems like a classic uninformed guy trying do a mock based on obvious fits. (Mack from UB, Gronk and AH out so Pats reload with Ebron).
  25. I think there is some truth in this and some considerations that are missing. Unlike other sports leagues, the NFL values tradition and large markets co-existing in a symbiotic relationship with small market teams.
