  1. Don't care about the win or loss. Just don't want the lions or Rapp to injure anyone. The lions hit hard, dirty, and to the whistle.
  2. They hadn't had their full assortment of weapons healthy nor had the intensity and skill to shine like yesterday.
  3. and few teams can have two all pro WR's on their roster at the same time with one of the top and most underrated RB's being a factor. the OL played especially strong, too.
  4. good. lets hope justice is fast and his family can find peace.
  5. Williams ceiling is milanos floor.
  6. Maybe the job description was misunderstood by the word special....
  7. No one has mentioned two things that showed the ultimate end and stupidity of organization on the coaching: 9 men to return the final punt Not having even a simple attempt to return on what was the last play of the game.
  8. i was told it is new turf than the previous years + injuries was. https://www.freep.com/story/sports/nfl/lions/2023/09/14/detroit-lions-nfl-grass-ford-field-aaron-rodgers-turf-debate/70852624007/ changed prior to the '23 season. if the injury concern is there than it should be that the Lions play with such high intensity and so hard that they are injuring themselves as much as anyone else. they have a back, kirby jospeh, who goes low with his head down who's hurt a lot of people this year. there was a player interviewed back a while ago and another after the Lawrence hit that had said that if a QB runs on them they're coached to hit him as if he was a runner. they're going to try to hurt QB17.
  9. by no standard is this true. McVey, Campbell, O'Connel, Tomlin, Payton, Jim Harbaugh, Jeff Harbaugh, Andy Reid, Jon Gannon, Mat LaFleur, Dan Quinn, Mike Macdonald, DeMeco Ryans, Sirianna,... you know... just to name a few. Personally, I'd not put all of them over McDermott but Vegas sure does.
  10. What's your point?
  11. Again... Cousin.... Prom... You're happy. Some of us don't like settling for mediocrity.
  12. You're the kind of guy who enjoys just going to the prom. You'll take your cousin and be just happy as a clam. The rest of us not only want to take the dime piece we want to wake up with the prom queen. Well, what's to have joy about when we constantly beat losing teams and beat the one team we are designed to beat?
  13. McDermott is anywhere from +6000 to +10000. He's not even top 12 on most books. Lolollolollloooollollolll.
  14. Where TF do you get the odds of Coach of the year to say he's a candidate? Put down the pipe, my dude. Even Tomlin is ahead of him and Tomlin is garbage.
  15. Not looking to dunk just give a basis of reality. This team is not as good as people think and a problem of that is coaching. This is my opinion. Many agree, many don't.
  16. That's patently false. The chiefs and dolphins score more than 21. The amazing offenses of Seattle, Indianapolis, and Tennessee did not.
  17. How many winning teams have we beat? 🤔🤔🤔🤔 1.
  18. That it looked exactly like a Leslie Frazier defense must be a coincidence, right? ....right? Frazier was a scapegoat.
  19. 100%. Should have played today.
  20. Agreed and not reading much further in this. A lot of problems but in every situation where McDermott could have done the right thing and being better at his job: he failed. We weren't prepared defensively, we shot ourselves in the foot on special teams which is ongoing, and the penalties are just awful.
  21. It should have been explicitly clear and previously coached as well as told to Josh as foresight to tell in the huddle. If we don't get in on the goal line first down we spoke the ball immediately. In this situation this should have been 100% told.
  22. This is a game KC would have won with luck / officials but the Bills will lose all headlines. Bills will win out now.
  23. Bills won't lose again this season
  24. Josh threw to draw the penalty
