  1. They're dull but they'll age well. I only ever buy a hat and hold on to it 10 years before it's a regular wearer.
  2. If he is to miss the Ravens game: Coleman needs to be in at slot; he will match up against Humphrey (6', 210) so Coleman has 4" on him. Humphrey is quick and can recover in speed but he's not as fast as he used to be - what the Ravens will do is funnel that speed up the middle to their safeties. We are ok with that because Coleman will feast or famin. What this would do is clear opportunities up for Knox laying down low or Kincaid running seam routes. Knox sitting in space will be great. The Ravens will have to decide if they are ok letting Coleman potentially run deep on them and Josh connecting or let the shallow stuff free. With Cook playing (as he should, damn dude signed a contract) we will be able to keep an explosive running game up with our 3 RB's. Johnson, assuming he's on the roster and a plan for 2025, will be able to leak out and also be an option on 3rd downs. The Ravens defense is very underrated but we should be able to keep them on the field. So, the inverse, if Shakir plays, will be Shakir running all over the middle pulling coverage schemes to make imbalances. I don't see him as a major factor for this game, honestly.
  3. Sirius and others said he was having an amazing camp.
  4. Too lazy to waste my time on such a worthless post other than to say scroll up to my last post. Sorry, your experience of understanding football ended in middle school, hutch
  5. You won't hear me disagree on our defensive scheme.
  6. Whenever I feel stupid I read posts of yours on PPP. I feel smarter than I cry... There are people who are like you in the world and that terrifies me.
  7. Gonna play this bushhoging. Thanks for posting and saving me from finding it!
  8. Football isn't toast. Accountability is toast. You play football, like any other job, you need to face the reality you take risks. Football isn't even the top of the lists for most dangerous sports. *****, being a dental hygienist as a career is more damaging. These guys are paid handsomely and need to have more than a room level IQ to realize they're not being friendly to their body as modern day gladiators. But it is far and between a player lasts over 5-6 years so by 30 they're done and should be well off.
  9. Why does anyone waste time shaving? Let it grow out big and burly until your wife complains then chop it down and let it grow again.
  10. Maybe I should be more sincere and serious but that's boring Either way, I encourage anyone with an extra $1k, an hour a week, and intelligence to get bee. You'll be challenged and enjoy being a bee farmer. Also, look up oxalic acid pads to save money on getting a good bee suit.
  11. This is why. The guy is automatic to take out at least 2 defenders on a run block. On short yardage, use him.
  12. My dream of this type of guy being a full back lives on!!!!!!! Teach that man how to lead block and how to pass pro from the backfield. Teach him to take handoffs. Yaaaaaassssssssss
  13. Check the pro bowl roster for 2024 I expect we PS a 4th WR and us the extra spots with the two suspensions to try out DL depth for a push.
  14. ... I will die on this hill. But I won't die. Because I am simply right. He's a modern day tick above jag. Which for safety in our system is quite good. A system which employed the best tandem over the last 7 seasons replacing them with anyone was going to disappoint everyone. He played better than hyde and poyer did the last two seasons. He doesn't make mistakes. He simply lacks some physical traits to be as fast or hit as hard - but he doesn't give up his body like Poyer did or subject himself to high risk angles like Hyde did (who often benefited from quickness and smarts to recover). Hamlin is always headed on the right directions, seldom misses a read, and puts himself under the top of a WR or deep threat. In our system fs and ss are interchangeable to a degree. I can't definitively say that Hamlin always covers the boundary because we shift a lot and our 2 LB w nickel causes changes and passing in real time combined with man coverage being introduced more often. However, we leave our nickel to make the calls on field vs boundary covering the slot/te. This is quite complex, but if you agitate me I'll spell it out for you. In short, our free safety (Hamlin) is responsible for what the nickel isn't when Johnson makes his cover read depending on the defense. This leaves Hamlin sometimes matches double on the #1 or playing the field side against a slot who comes to the outside, or a running back who splits wide. It all depends on the zone. Does that make sense? I doubt it will because it's that damn intricate. Hamlin reads it better than most and it's why that Utah kid struggled, it's why Rapp struggled at FS. This team invested a lot to bringing along Hamlin to 2024. McDermott puts a lot of work into the DB's to craft them over time. It's why I haven't given up on Bishop yet, it's why I haven't given up on any DB's. I suspect in 2025 we see White and Benford start the season. We trust them with Bishop and Rapp. I see hs starting in man coverage more than anyone will expect and 100% think Hairston is going to be put in for spot time by the 3rd game to cover man while getting better at zone. This defense is going to be a lot better than people think and we will have coverage sacks. Hamlin will be a big part of that because he plays very smart. It is his strongest trait. Sorry to burst your bubble. Class over, schools done. Overcome your lack of football knowledge to not just hate Hamlin. It is silly, bub.
  15. He was a pro bowl player. I guess since we sit on a couch on Sunday we know more than the coaches, players and people who put him there.
  16. It's fascinating to listen to those during storms. During the WNC flooding the amount of short wave/Ham work being done was incredible.

  19. I'd imagine they're looking to be cautious regardless and it was a simple procedure
  20. If preventative it could be some hyaluronic acid or just a fluid drainage. Rare that that you'd take that long but if being careful it's normal. If a serius procedure it could be shaving some spurs on the ligament.
