i mean... ... ... ... it's 2025....
-
flutie was there for multiple years in the 80's jesus. how can a fan of team constantly be so wrong? like... all the time? holy freaking airball. dude legit started 13 games over 3 years for your team.... how tf do you not realize he was a starter? i mean, it was some of the worst years for the patriots but come on.
-
i know that. that's what i had said. and i had told the pats fan that and he said i was 100% wrong lol
-
I was going off of memory, I'm curious if you did as well. Either way that Pat's fan knows nothing about his team, because you know flutie was only there under Belichick in the scrub years
-
Yeah, I guess you don't know me that well. Trust me, I did well. I mean, of course I'm going to claim otherwise. And there's probably a dozen around here who see me pull some pretty good stuff. From Rosen and I pulling chicks on Tinder one night, to anyone who's been my wife....
-
Not only this but uglying yourself up makes you look better according to women's fashion. they wear this high hip stuff to make it look like they have a big butt, which helps the fat chicks because they need to wear that Either way this chick looks nothing special, the filler and all of that just make her look like every other girl. There's no unique looks in Hollywood anymore and it's pathetic.

Um no sir. Lololololllllooolllllll You really are showing how fair weather and newfan you are. Flutie played for a few years with the Patriots in the late 80s and 90s. He was competing for a backup roll. Pathetic when I know your team better than you. Hahahahaha the shame you should be given publicly dor this kind of repeated offense is blistering
-
Eason went to the Jets as a backup after his time in NE. #11 there. But was a backup to O'Brien. Tecmo super bowl, brah. Berry was the coach when NE was a ***** show version of the Bengals back then. I was also 5 in 1986... Eason was before Grogan. Eason had his roster spot taken by Flutie. Lol

The Patriots had Carrol as their HC. He was young, had swagger, and did pretty good in the NFL at that point 33-31. Kraft was struggling to decide what to do but ultimately decided it would be best to move on from a dismall average performance. After all, Bledsoe was hands down considered top 2-3 QBs in the NFL. Highest paid player in history with the contract that he signed before the 2001 season he got injured. He was sto be the Patriots future. Weiss system didn't work for Bledsoe like it should and didn't balance in harmony with the defense that the Patriots fielded. Bledsoe was a gunslinger that took risks and quick drives. Belichick learned defense about slow and controlled defense to run the clock time.

@BananaBlaugh all you want but it's true.

Forgive him. He was either born in the 2000, doesn't know who steve Grogan is, or most likely didn't discover football until Oct 2001 when the Brady mania took over.
-
Lol Please take as much offense to this as possible because right now it is deserved but you may be forgiven since as a patriots fan you didn't discover football until some time in mid October 2001. Belichick had precious experience in Cleveland and in his narcissistic grandeur wore his welcome out there. 36-44. His success largely entailed riding the coattails of Parcells. He went to NYJ as HC and chickened out, too. He got to NE and thought he would get another go at it. The Internet is impossible to search for it with all the time since 2000 was a long time ago but the NE fans wanted him gone especially the 0-1 start and 5-11 start before. After Bledsoe was injured the team called and brought in some QBs to tryout. Belichick opted to roll with what he had and was quoted as saying he will try the rookie out and rely on the defense. The speculation was that he knew the season was done and he likely wouldn't last beyond his second year with Bledsoe hurt. Bledsoe had just become the highest paid player ever, mind you. Brady came in and didn't make mistakes his first year. He did just enough to get the positions to win and not give up enough to cost a loss. If not for Brady Belichick would not have been the HC the next year. It's sad how Patriots fans don't know this but again, most don't know football before Sept 23rdh 2001.

belichick was about to be fired at the end of the season squandering bledsoe.
-
Brady made Belichick

it's funny in the nfl what comes first? the coach or the QB?
-
Maye is on the trajectory to get to the HOF.
-
It won't be Maye tho. It'll be the offense as a whole
-
who the hell is he going to throw the ball to? Diggs? Diggs vs. Thompson/Johnson will be fun to watch.

James Cook AFC Offensive Player of the Month (September 2025)!

what other details would be coming? he's OPM. -
which is entirely fair. if you've got your floor of what you'd like to earn than why bother doing anything if it is not worth it to you? practicing on the practice squad is just the same tax on your body as being on the full roster. why do more to your body if you've invested and saved enough money? i don't blame him but also wish he would accept league minimum to get on our practice squad.
-
I'd hestitate on Stroud because he has shown better flashes and a grasp of the game in the past. Jones and Nix are fair. Tua can't be judged fairly. I think he's been destroyed in all ways possible and just hope he can leave football and live a good life.
-
100% agree. on paper it is one perspective. in reality on the field it is another. i could see this game being close but i do not expect the bills to be out of control at any time even if they don't have good footing or struggle. i think they are a few weeks away from a complete game. i anticipate our get right and balance it out game to be MNF against atlanta. i think atlanta is gonna come out and pop us in the mouth and we decide to open a can of whoop ass.

my point wasn't if he is or isn't better than Macorkle. it was that in Mac's career growth he was the next coming of a tier 1 franchise QB. Maye is on the cusp of this lip - to prove it or not. i think he has a higher ceiling than Mac but isn't to Mac's ceiling yet. Mac had a few very good games. Maye is going out and slinging it all around as they have no choice but to run it with bad RB's and offense where he has to try to do it all.
-
every page on this thread Maye gets better. He's the second coming of Mac Jones!!!! a few pages ago he was good. then he was really good. now he is very good. on page 25 he's gonna be great! page 30 is gonna be excellent. by 40 he will be all time all pro he's a serviceable qb at this point. a mid tier starter. that's nothing special.
