Shavers the UDFA and borderline starter - I think he's a #4-5 maybe - hopefully gets 3 catches 40+ yards to show how it's done. -

Maybe not the best thread for it so I'll make it short. Today's NFL WR's are interesting. They're dynamic across the board. Beyond your top 10-12 (Jefferson, Chase, and even Diggs) you have a lot of very good athletes that aren't the full toolbox of abilities. Diggs has those tools even if they're diminishing. The depth WR is obviously a speciality player in most cases; size, speed, route diversity, and other characteristics. But, many WR who are #1 and not a top 10 type have the same issues. Because of this I like that we have Gabe Davis who is a specialist to run deep. Palmer can run inside routes. Samuel is an unknown wildcard. Moore is deep. Shakir is split. Coleman is a contest catch short yard guy. It's only because our diversity of the TEs that give us anything -

I'm going to get ridiculed for this but i want this team to focus on football right now. i'm all for championing the community, outreach and support for the community, and being a great person... but right now every player should be nose deep in the playbook, film, and field.
