  1. i looked at flights - still affordable and reasonable. flying to st louis is much more flexible
  2. nope. but if i ever go i'll be fine. i usually park at least a half mile away from most places if not a full mile.
  3. i'm amazed at how this works. i'm amazed at a lot of things. but i will start with this: why don't teams hire former players or specialty type players as "coaches" to do the left footed punts? now, i'm sure these guys were probably given some Bills gear and a few bucks but it was probably held as a "try-out." organizations need to hire guys as coaches to practice with the team as an adjunct kind of player - in a pinch these guys are thrown on the PS and used in a game. You could get specialty guys groomed up this way quite effectively also... why do organizations not hire someone like Geno Auroamomamomano the former Bengals coach just to be a consultant for games that they'd be influential in? Like the Ravens vs. Bills. a fired coordinator for a coaching advisor rental would be nice. also, why odn't teams take one of these practice squad OLs or DL's and groom them to be a big body full back? like the big dude from Baltmore? I'm obsessed with this idea and would love Georgia's center to be the fullback for this kind of condition. lol it's an internet joke. i think i was 9 for the first one. and 12 for the last.
  4. fly to STL. if a group of enough people get together to meet at STL - get a rental - drive over from there (4 hours) and back spending the night in STL briefly before flying home Monday it would be much cheaper. I am open for it. The realistic expectation would be fly in late Saturday - stay in St Louis Saturday night and drive to KC Sunday morning. Drive back immediately after the game to St Louis to be back by 1:30-2am and fly out Monday. Many flights back to areas leave quite early - St Louis is a popular airport - so spending the night at the airport is also an option to avoid a 3 hour hotel room. Rental midsize would be $100ish supply and demand and close to the flight date - this isn't corporate greed. it is economics.
  5. he will be a Bobby Trees or Mike Evans type in the NFL.
  6. It's not just Bills fans bits the world. Anyone who knows me knows I love the Bills. Anyone I know is telling me they're a Bills fan right now. Anytime I go to out in Bills gear someone says something. Gas station, grocery store, the gym, anywhere.
  7. There was a guy on social media who went and taunted the Bills fans. Tried to insult and harass the Bills fans. It showed the day before in Buffalo, the day of, during the game... All he is doing is harassing the Bills fans. Calling them soft because no one buys into him. Literally calling names and cursing loudly. Standing in line to get in the game he was shouting insults at people and some old lady just laughs at him. During the game he's turning around to confront people and no one is paying him any attention. Leaving he was still chirping calling the fans soft. He posted it - and everyone calls him disrespectful but he keeps chirping. Sadly, no one reporter to remove him.
  8. The tickets can be set up by the ticket holder to be managed by the app once the event gets near. It does not know what happens, and that's the good thing. Someone lists the ticket too expensive to begin with trying to make money. They hold on to too much pride instead of dropping the price below what they paid because of oversaturation of the market. At that point they log in and say I just need to make some money back on this so I don't lose my ass. They drop it cheap. Sometimes it's too late and they have to drop it way cheap. Either way if they put it on auto manage the algorithm will compete against itself because it doesn't realize the closer you are in the first three or four rows the worse it is. Therefore the good seats 10 to 25 rows up are often at a great deal, in front row seats can be had for as little as $35 even for big game. Now those ridiculous prices are once the event begins. So if you just want to see the beginning of the game you buy the cheapest tickets available and watch the beginning of the game and then look every 2 to 3 minutes for prime seat that got reduced.
  9. Quick, people! Tell me what to think so I can be outraged/excited/disappointed/aroused!
  10. Cam lewis was on Sirius. Talking well. Saying all the defense wants to do iss give the ball back to the offense. Just like Benford said.
  11. Buy a ticket at a low price now, or just before kickoff to see the beginning of the game. You will still pay for that ticket and it will all be there, it's your ticket still. But watch for tickets during the game on Ticketmaster or StubHub because they will fall in price as the price drops. On Ticketmaster any verified tickets are like on StubHub. You can set them to manage the price for you. The original game tickets will fall in price as well. And since the market is oversaturated you will be able to get cheap tickets as an upgrade. But you don't get your original money back I've done it before where I bought $30 nose bleeds at the start of the game and watch the beginning and then bought $14 upgrades to be on the 30 it rows up This works because some people are stubborn or stupid and do not list their tickets at the appropriate price. So, some schmuck thinks he's selling his face value tickets for $450 for $800 to make a big profit. He will refuse or forget to drop the price until it's too late and he's not lowered it. He then sets it to be auto managed and the price plummets. If there was another person or two I'd rent a car and drive. If simply another person and managed right if fly to STL from Greensboro (cheaper than CLT or RDU despite the flight going gso-clt-stl). But it's a car rental driveable game - 16 hour one way.
  12. Not worried about stopping the Chiefs as much as I am about us getting going. They're an efficient offense that moves the ball down the field and wins. That's all it takes. On defense we must bracket Kelce. He doesn't block. Have cover 3 over the middle in zone with an underneath backer or Johnson depending on the offensive set. If we go man coverage or quarters than it will be imperative to watch both seams for Kelce, Gray, or a running back breaking free. Quarters coverage exposes seams and can be effective with only 3 rushers + 1 spy. Regardless, spying Allen with a linebacker and not showing who it is will help. He's smart, though, so mixing in a corner blitz to flush him to our edge protectors is critical. With 3 rushers, a spy LB we leave 2 safeties over top, 2 corners not to get beat, a linebacker to cover the backfield, flat, soft under zone check down, and a nickel who can play off the QB. I hope we consider going dime on obvious passing plays when the ball is outside of field goal range since Mahomes will take all day to find a target. Kelce will have under 60 yards catching. Gray will get 30-40. Brown, Worthy & WR's will total 80 yards, the RB's will touch on 60-70 yards. There will be 3+ sacks.
  13. where would you be coming from?
  14. many of these tickets were extra or no interest in going, etc. many of these folks will not lower the price or foolishly hold on to the idea to recoup the $700 they invested in the ticket and won't sell for less only to drop the price to below market and reasonable ticket. The Bills/Broncos game had tickets for $15 between the 40's. The Ravens had them $70 between the 40's. Buffalo metro combine with the market it serves for the Bills is equal to KC. It is also a lot closer of a commute for most of the East Coast. KC is not accessible.
  15. RDU, GSO (greensboro), or CLT
  16. They will go down Considering going. Flying to STL to drive 4 hours to game is much more economical. Either Saturday night or early Sunday. Return Monday.
  17. Is that going to be kelvin benjamin? That guy eats.
  18. The NFL mandates that tickets go up for sale to playoff games in December. These tickets have been available for quite some time. It is exceptionally troublesome that the Chiefs have had to lock on the number one seed for over a month at the end of the season and their fans did not want to buy these tickets. That is absolutely pathetic. But then again this fan base is about as fair weather as they come short of the 20% die hard folks out there
  19. He's going to chase money.
  20. If you're anywhere near the game wait until the last minute to go and buy tickets. If you're within three or four hours you'll be able to wake up that morning and say screw it I can spend $200 on a good ticket. The cost of these tickets is going to drop dramatically. They're over 2500 resale tickets still available right now, and I estimate 1500 face value tickets. When resale value tickets are less than the face value tickets there's going to be a major falling off. You will be able to get into this game for less than $150, you'll be able to move up lower bowl for less than $150. What I'm saying is if you want to go: Buy tickets as cheap as possible Wait until the first quarter and buy an upgraded ticket
  21. For Milano Cortisone/Prednisone in hamstring is 4-5 days to get ramped up. PRP takes 2-3 weeks Hyaluronic acid for rap in his hip takes 3 to 4 weeks. More than likely he'll get it a shot. Be fine.
  22. Flying in to St Louis is $390. Rental $100. Hotel $200. 4 hour drive. Tickets to the game @ about $250 by the time i buy. it's so tempting but that's a big cost solo.
