There are a lot of factors in this. We are playing with a lot of different pieces on defense. Cam Lewis being in a lot and Taron not having solid games makes it hard to plan with them. The edge and line are a hodgepodge. The linebackers are without arguably our best LB. The safeties are playing Poyer whom was resurrected from the crypt and trying to cover Bishops inexperience. I can forgive some things right now on defense with adjustments. The Patriots big play run was a broken play fluke. The first series was not a catch but ultimately a small factor in the early part of the game perhaps. Two scores in the first half and ultimately one that actually hurt them with the kickoff return. The defense got no rest on the second half.

Have you ever done drugs (hypothetically and only saying that if you did what it might have been like which is not incriminating in any court case since I know you volunteer at orphanages and help feed the homeless and saved puppies from a fire)...? I have some addiction type traits but have never been addicted to anything I couldn't quit. I smoked very shortly. I finally tried a THC drink for science and didn't feel a damn thing until I did 15mg in an hour. I'm also weird with medicine. Maybe I'm half ginger. My point being - it's hard for me to have empathy on addiction when I have no understanding of it and even those who do can't claim much since it's a monster.

I understand this. I read about the kid because I was curious. Doing more than simply funding the rehab - I don't know. Addiction is a B word... I thought of Jessie Pinkman (... I judge myself). I don't know how much you dealt with it medically - but beyond CE and training I am sure you had experience. How people praise addicts for their struggle and recovery but those who avoided it don't get the same appreciation? It's ugly is all it is and different for everyone.

Pure hunch with no speculation... The Bills did not see him being a factor in the game plan. The Pats CBs are good and didn't see the benefit of putting him on the field in slippery conditions. Having a linear vertical threat with Palmer was sufficient. This also goes for Benford. Having him rest on slippery surface in this matchup was to simply save him and his body.
