  1. i am afraid of losing Anderson right now because we just had a few dings on the OL. but if we can make a turd shine it's on OL. i think everyone is holding off because everyone is trying to get a deal done and people are undercutting offers. New England is probably willing to be more aggressive and cause a lot of noise. one a domino starts to fall i think the rest fall for who's going to make a move and i think that whole issue is stopping everyone in their tracks.
  2. if we are going to make a move i expect it to be by tomorrow at the latest. i figured it'd be a wednesday through friday move originally to get the player here with the thought that the talks had begun on this prior to this week for groundwork. if nothing by saturday 11pm i dont' think we are doing anything.
  3. it is interesting how we phrase this as McD trading for a player. few teams and fans will describe their head coach making a part of the trade.
  4. i wish you were here about 10 years ago when i would just rant and rave on all the problems or get bored and do 50000 word essays on the entire X's and O's of our defense. now i just pooppost my raw emotions about firing McDermott to save time on the longwindedness. but i see next to nothing successful going on
  5. If I'm going, paying, and want to see them, which is redundant essentially... I'm not sitting more than 10 rows deep at a concert or upper deck any sport
  6. I'd not be as upset as if the Bills did it and had it overturned. The refs should know the rules as good as the players and coaches.
  7. The only little bit of nuance wiggle room I could imagine is if they thought this was the case or opened the call up to the NFL office. Only if the on-field refs had a discussion and did this would it be almost justifiable.
  8. Hamlin was better for consistency over Bishop. Bishop has a higher ceiling because we do not know it right now. We pigeonholed ourselves with Rapp and not planning for a contingency post 2025 that we could pull if needed for failure this year.
  9. stop responding him to him and the trolls.
  10. i think there has been enough evidence to dispute the negligible label. we went up a good amount in ypg and on offense with him.
  11. to make room for Fred Warner at LB on the roster
  12. i guess the pictures online are old
  13. they had long hippy hair like Josh Allen or some vagrant vagabond.
  14. i am not sure who it is i couldn't recognize them. they almost looked like josh but it was not him. its on Gabe's IG story
  15. an injury TO forced to be taken under 2 minutes is proof the league doesn't care about safety. get rid of it for the first half entirely. then for the end of the game, give the option to take the TO or not let the injured player be able to return to the game only if that player was a starter of the game... make it so if two back to back injuries occur to stop the clock the team is forced to take a TO and get a penalty of 5 yards...OR take the TO. If a 3rd injury happens on the same drive and it's on the defense the offense gets a 15 yard and 1st down call for personal foul... or if on defense the offense loses a down and 15 yards with a 10 second run off.
  16. If i am the Pats i trade for a #2 if I can. this puts insurance against injury and ensures good targets for Maye through the rest of the season and the potential regression of his development should there be injury or drop in performance from Diggs (which is expected). in the draft you'd be able to 100% focus on the OL. i don't load up to stop the Bills offense by drafting defense and you certainly don't have to worry about the Jets offense or Miami's offense. Load up on the LOS with the OL. plan to control the LOS against the Bills and look to outscore them and control the ball.
  17. not upset, but concerned. just as we were concernd about hte black shirt ref reversing the touchdown in the playoff game against the Texans when the player threw a live ball to the field.
  18. Davis, Shakir and some tall white dude maybe Kincaid are playing golf right now.
  19. I'm not your buddy pal... So anyway, why choose a football message boards subforum to discuss politics? Sad, bro
  20. Because behind Diggs who do they have that is going to be better than a 2nd round pick? The draft gamble on WRs is getting more and more risky. Mack Hollins is ok in that system as a #3 in a rebuilding phase. Boutte is a #3 dressing up as a #2. Maybe he is a #2B on a good day. If the Patriots got a mid tier, a #2 or another #2b/#3 it would be a vast improvement. Hollins should be a #4-5. I know you don't read here much but background... I always believe you should have a #1WR, #2WR, #3, and a #4 who can play inside or out with the #5 being the gadget guy/slot/wildcard. For the Bills think when they had Diggs/Davis/Beasley/John Brown or Emanuel Sander/McKenzie.
  21. And the reality is that diggs is a number one. The belief that a number one receiver must Jamar Chase, Justin Jefferson, someone of that level... There's a reason there's a distinct tier 1 of wide receivers and it's only five or six. Only five or six teams have those guys and it's not clear on who they may be at any given point. The best example is Garrett Wilson in New Jersey. The guy is top five talent and playing at a subpar level. Stefon Diggs is a 1B wide receiver.
  22. I get what you're saying but the reality is he is doing it as a gross reaction too the liberal trolls who have been here for over a decade and ran many of the sites best posters out of here. Simply put I think if you want to be in this dungeon and discuss politics you should have to engage in football talk as this is a football message report first. D-bags like those who are doing this bump don't post in the football threads, they have no actual use on this board other than the control the politics through their non-stop trolling. Some of them are even thoughts, or worse yet second profiles by others. On something like 25 years here I've seen a lot of bull#### but the leftist trolling on this side it's pathetic. And it's gotten worse because the right side is not doing it to counter it. This list of who must be banned but will never happen: @Homelander @Trump_is_Mentally_fit @The Frankish Reich And prob more Roundy, section, other lefties will engage in some discussion but don't just troll ppp all day. The only troll sometimes.
  23. I get what you're trying to say. And I am hardly the most eloquent person. My manner of speaking and being eloquent is akin to a rhinoceros doing ballet.... On meth. I think part of what you're saying can be wrapped up a little bit by saying Josh was affected by the Patriots game and as a result had the Falcons game. Josh was frustrated with the lack of separation by the wide receivers in the patriots, having to make gutsy throws and poor decisions to try to force something. I think because of this he went in with the mindset of less optimism confidence and to the layman look like he gave up. I think he was just lost and if anyone on this team can fix it he's on the top five of that list.
  24. Coleman's only route to success long-term in the NFL is going to be playing big slot. I'm going to pound this table until I break it through, I'm banned for spamming, or I die. With the way the bills are playing right now there's a good chance I'll die from a heart attack. Coleman can't get open against cornerbacks. Shakir isn't finding success this reason and he may heat up. In the meantime we have Dalton Kincaid who was just not a good enough receiver lining up a tight end and getting covered adequately by linebackers and safeties. If we put Coleman in the big slot or on the field with Kincaid both in the interior positions this creates a mismatch problem that seems must adjust to by leveraging inside contain. Should we get Palmer back and have him on the outside he will have to be men on man and we all depend on him to beat his man. That's a big ask for him though possible, same with Gabe Davis, same with Curtis Samuel. However if we had a true number one on the outside with those guys and James Cook in the backfield it would be very hard for a defensive balance against us because Coleman is going to have a cornerback playing him at big slot and that is a little bit of an advantage for Coleman to body that corner leveraging the middle of the field. Gosh I'm typing a lot.... But the idea of bunching our formations together will work against a lot of these teams that we play and would have done well against the Falcons and their small defenders. Because we could switch tight ends or pull Shakir to replace with Knox and double tight end. We could also pull Kincaid for Hawes and power run. It makes me sick that Joe Brady can't get an identity with all of the talent. Simply decide what you're going to do and run it over and over and over and over again The only time I will say anything about being with his attitude about the wide receiver. Him calling up and chastising the radio announcers did not sit well with me this is either because he has a bad read on the talent of wide receiver as a position or we were grossly let down by what our front office judged the talent to be of guys like Curtis Samuel, keon Coleman, and Joshua Palmer.
  25. The penalty can be called after the play if the referees arms got Frozen by alaso being thrown around them and paralyzed by Superman's death race there, and then he couldn't throw the flag on time. It is an illegal formation play which is a penalty before the snap which must occurred during the play itself as it takes action an illegal formation cannot be before the ball is set, subtle but true So you could have all your guys line up anyway you want them but it will not matter until you set the ball. At that point nobody can move except for one person on offense in a parallel line to the line of scrimmage. That person cannot be on the line of scrimmage, nor can they have both of their hands under Center as the rule was originally written. If such an infringement of that rule exists the play is to be blown dead or the play immediately nullified with whistles at the execution of the the snap of the ball. It's very nuanced and technical and a football 3001 kind of thing but it's not some super expert level of knowledge although it is remarkable how few people understand this simple rule It's a funny situation how people don't understand the nuance of the rules.A pre snap penalty is a pre snap penalty. You either call it or you don't at the snap, it's amateur to wait until after the play is blown dead especially from a touchdown
