  1. Agreed the OL is the worst in the league. Matthews embarrased Bell and Green. Most QBs would look bad on the Bills, but Trent is awful. Even when he has time he doesn't know what to do with the ball. He doesn't read the line of scrimmage (dump off to Roscoe that was intercepted). We need like 10 first round picks next year... get to work Buddy.
  2. You are exactly right. What is he supposed to cover Finley 30 yards down the field? He is a back-up run-stopping 4-3 DE on most teams. Somehow, he is a starting 3-4 OLB covering tight ends on our team. Not really his fault he's getting shredded.
  3. We took Maybin over Clay Matthews, Brian Cushing and Orakpo. There is our pass rush... we just chose not to take it.
  4. They signed Dick Jauron to a contract extension... just saying. Why take a risk when you can lock up mediocrity?
  5. I'm divided - I don't have kids so it's hard to say. I've been going since a little kid and some of my best memories are watching fans getting plastered and picking fights. You used to be able to bring in a thermos filled with alcohol - so things have definately changed. When Santa ran on the field on Christmas eve a few years ago and was taken off in cuffs that was hilarious! But the pre-game has turned into a frat party where everyone gets obliterated before the game. The Bills lack of winning has turned it into an atmosphere where it is all about the party - not the game. If you go to a game expect drunken aholes. That's reality. I don't think rules will change it as much as winning.
  6. What has happened is that fans now need to get obliterated before the game to have any fun because the team is BORING!! The parking lots are people 18-30 years old, getting smashed. Ralph can solve some of these issues by putting a good team on the field - then fans might want to be semi-conscious for the game. The standing rule? Yeah, I get why older fans/kids don't like people standing. But football has changed - it's turning more and more into a rock concert type of experience. Nobody sits at rock concerts, even if there are seats. It now is at the point, like it or not, where standing throughout the game is expected.
  7. I hate the dolphins more than any team in the league. Always have always will. Just looking at their stupid colors and mascot... I can't wait for Sunday. I couldn't even root for snowflake to be saved in Ace Ventura - that's how bad I hate the dolphins. Good call on the Buffalo news - that's garbage.
  8. Just wait until he hits puberty... he's gonna be a beast!
  9. Disagree. Coaches/Postions this year versus last: HC +, Asst. Coaches -, QB =, RB +, WR -, TE -, OL =, DL -, LB =, Secondary =, Special Teams - How I see it is that we have more minuses than pluses. That means we are worse, maybe equal if injuries play to our favor this year.
  10. Nice back-handed compliment. Gailey can't come out and say his player sucks, so I will say it for him. Hardy does not run like a receiver, does not have good hands and does not use his size to his advantage. He will be on the pine with some b.s. injury and will be gone in 1-2 years if not sooner.
  11. Stop. Spiller instantly becomes our best player. You must not watch college football. He has been the best player on the field his entire life. He was the #1 recruit coming out of high school. We stole the top player in the draft. I can't wait - Spiller will be sick...
  12. That's a good deal. They have a lot of weapons - no way he hits all the incentives. How many bums on our team make more than $2 million?
  13. Chan says Spiller will be used like Reggie Bush/Percy Harvin = Z in 3 wide sets Backup Z/When Spiller isn't Z = Steve Johnson. Then Roscoe. Lee Evans should be used as a Y, but we don't have a true X, so Lee = X James Hardy, if healthy (always a big if) = Y. Steve Johnson is backup Y. Shawn Nelson = FL as he moves around in backfield, blocks, runs seams and outs HB is fairly interchangable between Feddy and Spiller. Marshawn can't catch.
  14. Drew Brees - won in college, is tough, teamates respect him as hardworking Trent Edwards - lost since he was 17 years old, not tough, teammates have zero confidence in him Trust me, I wish that wasn't the reality, but it is. Trent will never be Drew Brees. Sadly, we will have to take a 1st round QB again and pray that we made the right selection and can coach him along to win 3-4 years down the road.
  15. Anybody else think a 4 year deal is short for a project player? This guy should make zero to little impact his first year, so basically you are paying for 3 years, maybe less. If we really believe this guy is a steal, we should've signed him to 5 years +. Just watch this guy get good and bolt as he is entering his prime.
  16. My brother changed his McGahee to McLovin...
  17. A- is right. We don't know what to expect from McKelvin. Byrd can't tackle. McGee and Florence are solid, but they're not shut down like Revis.
  18. Same game, minutes apart - Smashing beers with Jim Kelly in the parking lot before the Miami game 3 years ago. It was cold and icy, so as we were walking to our seats (happened to be in the M&T suite that day), we saw Ralph get out of a golf cart outside to walk into the entrace to the luxury suites and straight BITE IT on the icy pavement. I seriously thought he died.
  19. Sadly I would take Rob Johnson right now over any QB on the roster... Go Bills
  20. Good call. Let's hope you're right. Torber isn't looking too good on that list...
  21. Anybody else suprised Davis is our #1 ILB? Dude was a backup last year. All of a sudden he's our guy because he's played the 3-4?
  22. Even with getting guys back on defense I can't imagine we will be as good. Completely new scheme and terminology, no consistency, probably lose Schobel, everyone in new positions, counting on Maybin and Ellis to all of a sudden do something. I'd say we are middle of the pack on defense, last or close to last in the league on offense. Good for 5th worse in the league overall. 6 wins I'd say is too much, more like 3-5. Who are we going to beat? We can't win putting up 10 points a game, no matter how good our defense is, which it's not.
