  1. I was actually thinking about this the other day. The receivers have been sounding off in regards to what they like about each QB and we have heard the majority of the comments be in regards to Tyrod and EJ. Cassell seems to be viewed as the Chris Hogan of QB's; a bit short of the first down, a few plays down the field, but generally just dependable and vanilla. Both, oddly enough, are caucasian . Taylor and EJ are exciting, explosive QB's who are more alike with the majority of the receiving corps. They go for the big play, can make moves with their legs and emote a degree of swagger to them. They, like the remaining WR group, are African-American. I don't believe that it matters what your racial background is, but connecting with your peers is a vital aspect of being a QB. If EJ and TT are the better performing QBs at this time, wouldn't it be stupid to start Meh?
  2. I thought about that too. Such an irregular practice, but given the present QB stable, maybe not so crazy? I'd love to hear what wiser men than I have to say about this.
  3. It's okay to fly a flag at all times...unless you ask my wife. She really hates when I put the flag out... Why can't she be more supportive? Wait...what are we talking about here?
  4. The real factor to back you up is that this is completely un-typical and a historical abberation relative to any qb competitions of the past 30 years. 3 Qb's with a truly equal opportunity to start creates circumstances that cannot be predicted and really cannot utilize any historical justification to state, without question, that the starter has been set. That being said, it's EJ
  5. Flacco must be elated with his wr corps this year Don't count your chickens. That whole group that you listed has had injuries in the preseason. Thompson may see the field more than we hope and we can only cross our fingers that he is a surprise breakout WR this year if poop hits the fan.
  6. Does Rex love drama? This has been the craziest position competition I have ever seen. I guess that when it's your QB as opposed to a safety or a WR, it becomes amplified x1000, but I would have hoped for some more certainty by this point. I'm in the ABC camp and, admittedly, can't help but cheer for EJ, but also am not oblivious to the fact that Taylor has been very impressive in the first two preseason games.
  7. What system and is that qb really "that qb" anymore? I'm not 100% certain that Kubiak can really put his system in place when he has Manning as his qb. Manning really runs his own system and has done so since his 4th year in the league. The issue there is that his once live arm has now been residing in a morgue for the better part of the last two years. Peyton, with full respect to his place on the Mount Rushmore of QB's, is not currently a Top 5 qb in his physical state. Painful to say, but he is probably out of the top 10.
  8. You and the rest of the board on twitter. That was deplorable. Benoit pretty much stated things that could have been stated before TC. He had zero real insight and offered nothing that anyone that hasn't read an article on the Bills since the draft might not have expected to hear.
  9. Is he the guy that benoit balls were named after? Cause he's a real pain in the.... Am I allowed to say that?
  10. Why are we doing this to ourselves? No revelations will come from these practices. We are in the dog days of TC and we all just want news so badly that F5 has become our closest friend... I'm going to work.
  11. I'm sick of the anti-Tuel agenda! Did he kick your dog?
  12. I think the better question is: What happened to Matt Simms? What are we to read into this? Is he the secret weapon we have been waiting for? Sarcasm font...whatever that is....
  13. Extremely valid point. I'd have to believe that they'd control that internally, but with this group I'd have to say that having a back-up plan is a necessity.
  14. Do you mean like picking up the LB/ DE that broke an opposing teams qb's jaw? Yeah, totally classless.... I think they hold onto him because Lee and Roman want to see what they can do with him given a year to work with him and because he has a great attitude that positively impacts the team. Just my two cents.
  15. Seemingly. I hear it has quite the spread too. Burgers, dogs, and all the fixins.
  16. was the route supposed to go through the VIP tent?
  17. Apparently the whole right side of the O-line hasn't even showed up and Wood is as close to invisible as he has ever been.
  18. i love preseason. I hate preseason injuries. This squad needs Kyle as much as anyone on D. Fingers crossed.
  19. I've always felt that Bills and Williams should be synonymous
  20. This, but I'd take a playoff appearance that at least we know that Andy is capable of.
  21. I don't trust people who can't spell Canadians....or who post using the Royal we.
  22. Apparently there was a glitch in the payroll system and he's been getting his paycheques for the last few years. So, they've fixed the glitch. It should just work itself out. In all seriousness, I will never be able to root against EJ, but I can't help but think that this TC may be the last we see of him in a Bills uni. The positive feedback from camp has been so sparse that it's past being a media bias.
