  1. 1- he plays nickel for the Eagles. In college he played CB and S 2-true. But I’m sure you would rate Kyle Hamilton higher. Cooper has Hamilton ability. Cooper reminds me of a faster Urlacher. 3- we draft BPA, we draft Cooper, and there would be no need for Bishop. Safety spot filled, we can draft BPA now, or trade back. DT, Edge, WR, CB, RB can be filled 2nd and the rest of our picks. 4-not true. Injuries can happen to anyone. It’s one reason I value draft picks. Beane was in a tough spot. There were no feasible #1 WR options available in FA. We were desperate for WR, because cupboard was bare from bargain shopping WRs for years. We were in cap hell, and had many starter and roster spots to fill. 2023 we needed WR- and there was a huge run at WR by our selection. Beane wanted to add pass catcher for Josh. I’m guessing Dalton was rated higher on board than any available WR. So Beane trades up for Dalton. 2024 we were desperate for quality WRs. Again, no good options FA. 24 draft there were 4 WR tier one. And then a big drop off, with many similarly WR ratings. So we had the first pick, day 2. Every GM reset their boards, and had all night to think about best players available for their team. I am certain Beane turned down several trade back offers. Beane declined all offers, and took his guy, Keon. We can go visit old draft threads. Me, and many banged table for Cooper or Ladd. I also liked Adonai Mitchell, who has speed, and can line up outside. Bills need an X WR, and Keon is not an X. Hindsight is proving us right. “
  2. Keon 7 for 21 catch percentage post Poyer hit. Keon is a one trick pony, who struggles to do succeed at his one trick. Prior to the hit, Keon played with fire. I didn’t see that fire in Keon post the hit. I hope Keon can get his edge back, he didn’t finish strong
  3. No, but I have a working brain. Cooper DeJean was an elite Safety prospect. His RAS score 9.85 is top notch. Cooper athleticism stood out on tape. Cooper can play CB or S, and he is great punt returner. Tons of production, and zero flags. There is not a GM who had Keon ranked higher than Cooper. This is common sense
  4. Not too mention, that was the first pick in the second round. That is one of hottest draft positions. Beane and others have a chance to reset their boards, and all night to think about it. Beane must of turned down many good trade down offers, to overdraft Keon
  5. There is zero percentage that Beane had Coleman rated higher than Cooper. Not to mention, we had a big need at Safety. It was a horrible choice to ignore draft board and reach for WR.
  6. There was little chance of us trading up for Thomas. We were coming off cap hell, and needed to replenish the roster. Thomas was a pipe dream We could of traded back, and drafted Cooper DeJean, and last year would of been successful draft
  7. Ingrates have no appreciation for what McDermott has done for Buffalo the past 8 years. Please show me a Bills coach who has had more success. Me, and older Bills Mafia have scars from 2-14 seasons, 0 for the 70s against Miami. 17 years missing the playoffs. Etc. Is that what you want to return to? Do you not recognize what McDermott has done for our Buffalo Bills?
  8. I’m not upset we traded with KC- I’m a fan of trading back and getting additional picks. I’m disgusted we drafted Keon and DeWayne! I like trading back, and I like drafting BPA. Cooper DeJean was a top 15 player, who was available at our 2nd round pick. Me, and most of TBD draft room were pounding the table for Ladd, or Cooper. We are not pro scouts, and it’s obvious to us the Ladd or Cooper should of been the selection. Instead we get plodding Keon(doesn’t One Bills Drive have a stop watch?). We gained a 3rd round pick, let’s try and salvage this poor draft. We draft another tomatoe can in DeWayne, who cannot even be active after his return. Every other DT played reps over DeWayne. 2nd and 3rd round picks are premium, and we better use them wisely. Last season Beane threw away those picks, and we barely got anything in return. I like Beane, but he ***** up prime draft slots in 2024
  9. What happens if Myles has career ending injury next season? Those first and second round picks would be nice to have, but got traded away. Our cap is a mess now, Josh is 28- what have done to the Bills?
  10. Everyone knows that the Bills D struggled at times last season, and has major needs this offseason. IMO the reason Beane did not speak more about D problems is that McDermott's "specialty" is defense. He didn't go hard on D( as opposed to what he had to say about Keon and Dalton), is that could be perceived as an attack against mcD. Beane protected McDermott
  11. I teared up watching this. And then I read the comments- most people were tearing up too. Bigger and better than the MVP.
  12. Still hopes and wishes. Dalton’s problems are deeper than dropping the ball, ending Bills season. As for uncatchable balls, we discussed this issue thoroughly. Many of us surmise that Dalton is often in wrong position to catch ball. He zigs, when he should have zags. Shakir has one of highest catch percentages in the NFL. Is Josh only accurate throwing to Shakir? Or could Dalton not made himself more available? As Beane said, Dalton must get bigger. I have more optimism for Dalton, than Keon, which isn’t much. Right now I would stock WR room with much better talent. If the light ever comes on for Dalton and/or Keon- bonus. IMO they are JAGS.
  13. Keon was a rookie- no *****. So was Brian Thomas. So was Nabors. So was Ladd. So was Bowers.
  14. Josh is awesome. Shakir is our best WR. Hollins is clutch. Cook is amazing. Ty is the best 3rd down back. Dalton had a 55% catch rate. Keon cannot separate. I see two weak links. Offense was great, but can always be better. Josh makes everyone better. Time for Dalton and Keon to start pulling their load. And if they fail again, get upgrades. Don’t give Josh mediocre receivers
  15. Fresh pasta is the best, economical, and fairly easy to make. Fresh pasta kicks an Italian meal up a notch
  16. Haha what is this based on? Hopes and wishes? Coleman clearly regressed after the Poyer hit. He caught only 7 out of 21 targets. This gives you hope? Beane called out Coleman. Keon lost the eye of the tiger when he got hit. Does he get it back? I doubt it. Kincaid is barely an average TD, and has drops in big spots. What leads you to believe Dalton will put up “big #s”?
  17. Sabres win 4 in a row for first time since Jan. 19-26, 2023. Ohh! Ahh! Sabres on the warpath!
  18. Von graded out as our best pass rusher. He was top 10. IMO there is a great chance we get Garrett for two #1s and Roseau. Myles- Von-AJ-high draft pick is a much improved DL and pass rush
  19. Joe Marino said that the Bills are projected to have between $20-$30 million in cap space. The figure I’ve heard is that the Bills can free up an approximate additional $70 million in cap space if they pull every lever.
  20. Draft capital helps the salary cap. For example, two of our best players are on rookie deals. James Cook was a bargain at $1.2 million this past season. Benford was an even bigger bargain, counting only $964,000. Cook was a second round pick. If you instead trade that 2nd pick for veteran, there is an opportunity cost in terms of salary cap, and youth. You lose all of that when you trade for a veteran, with a larger salary. You got more expensive and older. IMO teams should build through the draft. Always draft BPA. Always trade down for more draft capital, this and next year. Thrifty FA signings. Pay core players, but avoid high salaried players. Comp picks galore.
  21. Beane said Buffalo averaged 7 points more per game when Amari played. Just the threat of speed keeps defenses honest. D cant load up box and play Cover 1 And it has been obvious to the most of this board for years that we need a speed WR.
  22. Coleman is on the team, obviously. Good rookie season 82 catches on 112 targets for 1147 yards and 7 TDs- thats a great rookie WR season. Not Keon, though, Ladd McConkey- they WR we passed on. Thats a good season. 7 catches in last 21 attempts- that is a pathetic rookie season! also, they say this is the deepest RB class ever. I love Ty, and would like him back. But if he gets paid elsewhere, Im happy for him. Draft his replacement
  23. LMAO. Keon is bust city. We are desperate for WR that can separate, take the top off the D, run a full route tree. Keon does none of the above. Plodding Keon cannot beat a jam. He is a fish out of water lining up outside. I know what my eyes see- a plodding, awkward WR who prefers playing paddy cakes then high pointing the ball. Beane, McD, Marino, etc have echoed my concerns publicly. Keon has caught only 7 out of 21 passes since the Poyer hit. Shakir is the only WR that can get open. WR1- empty WR2- Samuel- dude has been hurt most of his career Shakir- great slot guy WR4-Hollins- if we re-sign him WR5- WR6-Keon, barely making team. He can’t separate, and he doesn’t play special teams. An awful draft pick imo ^this is not SuperBowl quality WR! Bills are desperate for WR who can separate!!!!!!! WR needs a major overhaul, as does DL and Secondary- Facts!
