  1. Trade James for high draft pick. Draft his replacement. This draft is loading at DL and RB
  2. If Bills GMs read this board, we wouldnt of drafted Keon. We would of drafted Ngata. We would of drafted DK Metcalf. Etc.
  3. thats your takeaway from my lucid, pragmatic post? I never once disputed 16th greatest offense.
  4. That’s Josh Allen, our OL, and the RB room. One can always be better, and you should always try and improve. Imagine our offense if we had a WR that could take the top off. James Cooks carries 22% of the time we’re in a stacked box. A competent X WR opens up the middle for Knox and Dalton, and gives Cook more space to operate. This simple addition would make the offense much, much better. How can you argue against that? It’s not about the most points in the season, it’s about the who has the most points each game.
  5. They say we passed on Ladd because he’s a slot WR. But Ladd has shake and bake, and can separate. We pass on Ladd, and draft Keon, who can’t play X, and can’t separate. This is madness
  6. Meanwhile Bills have scored the most points in the NFL over the last 5 years. This years offense was the 16th best in NFL history and set numerous records as a team and as individuals. Our defense is the sole reason we haven’t been to the SB and it’s indisputable. Beane has been the GM since 2018 so yes, 3-7 years is on his him. Coleman was a 2nd round pick. The only attempt Beane has had to get Josh a top 2 WR was for Diggs, and WR has woefully been neglected besides that. The WR cupboard is empty, has been for years, and that’s on Beane. 2023 there was a run on WR, and Beane panicked and traded up for Kincaid. We already had Knox, and rarely run 12 personal, still need an X WR. 2024 we are desperate for WR. Beane trades back to top of 2nd round, which I’m ok with. We pounded the table for an X WR. That was the first pick, 2nd round. Every team reset their boards, and that is a coveted draft spot. I’m certain that Beane turned down trade offers, and instead drafted plodding Keon. We are still desperate for an X WR. Cooper was a panic trade, and Beane admitting he has failed the WR room. Baltimore pummeled us, loading the box, and daring us to beat them deep. Texans followed that blueprint, stifled our O, and beat us. Jets followed that blueprint, and almost beat us. It was more obvious than ever that our WR group is inadequate. Beane panicked and traded a 3rd for an aging X WR. The past two playoff exits are due to our offense. Yes our D is Swiss cheese, but the past two playoffs the D put the offense in a position to win. Mahomes only needed 13 seconds. We have Josh Allen, 3:30 left, 3 TO, and only need a FG, and the offense failed. The D put the O in a position to win, and the offense failed again. Just like they did last playoffs. I want every draft pick and FA $ spent to fix the D. All I ask is for a skilled vertical X WR. If you watch Bills football, you notice that there is zero separation and vertical component. Josh is amazing. Give him some help Dalton, Keon, AJ, Cooper, Roseau, etc- where were they in Chiefs game? Yes we were highest scoring team. Yes, Beane is missing in the first two rounds much too often.
  7. Ngata and Ted Washington come right to mind
  8. Yes, I understand roster numbers. And games are won in the trenches,. Like I said, Carter and Ed are back. The Bills rotate DL. Last year they kept 4 DT, and 4 DE. Carter and Ed= 2. Add 2 DTs in the first 2 rounds, the deepest position in the draft. 2+2=4. 2 veterans, and 2 rookies. We keep multiple DL on practice squad. 2+2=4 what don't you understand?
  9. Do you understand BPA? I draft the drafts strength. If we can get two DL starters in the first two rounds- do it! Steve Tasker and Chris Brown were saying today that the Bills should consider drafting two DL in the first two rounds. Steve even suggested drafting DT in the first, and then using both second round picks, and drafting the highest remaining DT. Games are won at the line of scrimmage. as far as returning DL, Oliver and Carter are in. If we can improve DaQuan and Phillips- do it!
  10. 7 out of 21 catch, a 33% catch percentage after his return. We wont need luck for major improvement. Keon did not look like the same player. Lazy routes. He struggled to beat Jams. He fails to separate. Prior to injury, I loved Keon's tenacity-blocking dude out of bounds. He made some great catches. He looked good running in space. And showed potential for being a TD monster. But after that hit, Keon looked disinterested IMO. He looked like a different player. Hes young, and hopefully he get the fire back and keep improving. Prove me wrong Keon
  11. Awesome. We always want to be better. You know what would help the offense score more? A vertical X WR. James Cook 22% of carries were against stacked boxes. A vertical threat opens up the middle of the field. More space for Cook, and Knox and Dalton will be open more in the middle
  12. Fix the damn defense! Devote every draft pick and FA to the defense, just give Josh one more excellent WR.
  13. When Bills CBs played off and allowed clean releases killed us against KC. Bills D often plays a soft zone, allowing easy completions over the middle. I get that they are preventing big plays, but they give up way too many soft completions. Be aggressive!
  14. Not true. In conductor of the WR train. Grant would be an awesome 1st round pick. DT is super deep in this draft. I want DT with 2 of our first 3 picks. I want S, Edge, CB too. But we still need a #1 WR. That’s all I’m asking. Don’t ignore WR for 5 years, then add Keon and think we are set. Devote every draft pick, and FA $ on D, with the exception of adding one excellent WR.
  15. Highest scoring team, but not scoring enough
  16. Explain this to Beane please. It seems obvious to all but Beane.
  17. I read Skinny Legs and All and Still Life With Woodpecker- good books! Something with snake bite medicine too
  18. We are in agreement that D needs most attention. But the fact is, our last two playoff exits, our offense failed on the potential winning drive. Mahomes only needed 13 seconds. Our offense had 3:30, 3 time outs, needing only a FG- and the offense failed! Last two seasons our D made stops towards end of game, and the offense failed, stupid.
  19. I blame Beane. McDermott probably gives draft and personal input. But Beane ultimately makes the roster decisions IMO.
  20. WRs are a problem. QB Stellar. RB group- excellent. TE group- above average. OL- top in NFL, and excellent depth. WR group- worst in the NFL? Its remarkable how many points Josh puts on the board, with such a weak WR group. Bills need to infuse the WR group with talent this season. And all other resources can be spent on DL, Edge, CB, S
  21. Beane has spent plenty of resources on DL-Rousseau, Oliver 1st round picks. AJ 2nd round pick. $140 million Von. High draft picks Boogie, Harrison. FA signing Williams, Star, etc Very little return on investment. The problem is not that we ignore the DL. The problem is missing again and again. Ive always been a big Beane fan. But his failures on DL, with our 1st round picks, and ignoring WR, my patience is wearing thin.
  22. I dont want to see Coleman outsnapping any WR. Bills need a major upgrade over Coleman
  23. Saban and those 64 Bills teams were awesome. Marv inherited a loaded Bills roster put together by Polian. There are several hall of famers, and excllent players in all 3 phases. That was the "bickering Bills", several selfish players. 2025 Bills love each other, and are altruistic. Neither compares to what McDermott has done. He took over the Bills after a 17 year drought. It has been an amazing turnaround. 86-45 record. .656 winning %. We have won a playoff game the past 6 years. Yet ingrates want to run him out of town.
  24. IMO the Bills trade an OL. Tyson Grable sounds like the real deal. Anderson is restricted FA. Van Demark was re-signed. IMO Bills trade 1 or more of Van Pran, Gouraige, Mike Edwards, or Travis Clayton.
  25. 2021 draft -always BPA IMO 61 DT Boogie Bashum 63 C Creed Humphrey 89 WR Nico Collins
