One more fun fact about Yankees Right Field Bleachers. We do roll call, when Yanks take the field to begin the game. We chant every players name, until they acknowledge us. I think it starts at Catcher, Infield, Outfield, Pitcher. AUSTIN WELLS! AUSTIN WELLS! we keep chanting, until player waves to right field bleacher, tips their cap CODY BELLINGER! CODY BELLINGER! and so on. Every starting player gets their name chanted. The Right Field Bleachers is the loudest, funnest section. Yankees players love it. Some players are laser focused, and we chant there name many times, until they they wave to the RFB. Andy Petit was like that. David Wells would nod towards RFB mid delivery, and throw a strike LOL No matter where you are sitting, you can see/hear roll call, beginning first pitch. Notice how each Yankee waves to the RFB, or tips their cap

Right Field Bleachers Yankee Stadium is where the action is. Tons of funny, juvenile chants. Some skinny kid wearing glasses, dressed in red, will be walking up/down aisle, and people chant “We found Waldo! We found Waldo!” When opposing teams hit HR to short porch in right, we catch ball and throw back on the field! Right Fielder is pretty close. So we ride the right the fielder pretty hard all game. Some games you scan bleachers, and it looks like New Orleans- sometimes she gets monstrous ovation, and draws attention of players and broadcasters lol Pre 1998 I think, Right Fielder bleachers went on sale, 4:00, General Admission, $8. I’ve seen a few double headers for $8. General Admission- if you got early, you got the front row bleachers! You could reach over the wall. Then Jeffrey Maier did that- he preventing opponent from catching Jeter HR In 90s, I worked in CT, about an hour away from Yankee Stadium, if we beat traffic. My coworker Pat was a huge Yankees fan. I was manager of busy restaurant, and we had to get everything made, big cooler, with over a ton of seafood, organized and buried in ice, We had massive amount of seafood to prep. Some days we cut 500 pounds of Scrod for example. But the deal was, get it done proper, and we can leave. Pat would get so pumped up. Yanks are in town tonight we’d say. Must beat traffic, and get to stadium by 4:00. I’d show Pat the massive prep list for the day. It took most people until 5:00 to do our job properly. We would be done by 2:30, on the 95 by 2:35, and at Yankee stadium prior to 4:00. Pat kicked ass Yankees day s! We went to several games, every week 1992-2002, so we have seen dozens, if not over 100 games in right field field bleachers. It cost us $8, and gas, and parking. We’d bring food from work. We got to see some great Yankees teams and players. Great times!

TE Darren Waller comes out of retirement and traded to Dolphins

Still a finesse team. They had a good draft, added some tougher players, but still soft and undisclipined -
Stans by the Right Field Bleachers is where we like to hang before a game

Char Siu Pork Belly and Roasted Duck in Chinatown. Canal St and Bleeker and Village arent too far away. I love the East Village and Lower East Side- thats where I tend to hang. Walking that neighborhood is like Music History. Theres the old CBGB site. Theres the Physical Graffiti Album cover building, Theres where Sid OD'd. Theres where Jimi lived. Theres where Dylan started, ETC Katz's Deli for a ginormous Reuben! Its is oldest restaurant in NYC Its a tourist trap that is well worth it. Im not sure where else in the world that you get a better Pastrami or Corned Beef Sandwich

My #1 NYC recomendation is early AM day drinking at McSorleys. The place is an institution. Oldest Bar in NYC, it was a Speak Easy during prohibition. Women were not allowed until the 70s. They serve 2 beers, light and dark. You order 2 at a time, and they are served in a steins. You can order cheese and crackers, and they give you a sleeve of Saltines. They have liverwurst too, and thats the menu. Its packed all day, all night. You sit community style at picnic tables, packed closely, with interesting people, locals and people from all over the world. Its a NYC museum packed with awesome photos and trinkets, such as Houdini's hand cuffs, and letters by Mayor LaGuaridia
