Bills have converted an absurd 49.0% of 3rd downs since 2020
Pete replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
By most every metric, Josh is underrated. The only metric haters go by is the Jets opener last year. Josh threw horrible interceptions. The whole country watched. The haters ignore all of the amazing throws, runs, statistics, jaw dropping plays Josh makes routinely, besides that one Jets game Josh has the greatest playoff numbers in NFL history. -
Maddy Glab vindication I’m so sick of “Diggs just wants to win” BS narrative. What player in the NFL does not “just wants to win”? You play to win the game. Don’t justify diva behavior

SI Underrated player: Khalil Shakir, wide receiver
Pete replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills fantasy draft will be tough. Samuel or Shakir? Or Dalton? Curtis has been shooting in draft boards, and is in top 50 most drafts -
True. But we bought out Skinner, creating a big hole in top 6, with no plan to replace him. Why create cap space? Sabres have top prospect pool in NHL. Many teams have Cap issues. With that hand, a better GM would have improved the Sabres much more. I like that we improved our bottom six. Sabres need more scoring. IMO Adams “no one wants to trade with me” comes as weak, and is the Streisand effect
-
Adams can you make a ***** big signing or trade already? Right now you see the latest joke of the GM of the Sabres

Name one player you hope you are wrong about...

Tyler Bass, Keon Coleman, Chase Claypool - prove me wrong -
The Bills like to keep $5 million free for operations all season. That leaves $5 free in cap space. There is still 71 days until 2024 NFL season starts. All NFL rosters are in flux. Last year we added Leonard Floyd late. Who might Bills target? What position group? QB - x RB- depth maybe OL-doubtful TE-nope WR-maybe DL-doubtful Edge-maybe CB-my guess S-doubtful What is your opinion?

Taron Johnson, Terrell Bernard, Schnowman, and Ed Oliver belong. Christian Benford is about to kick in the door!

I get a lot of Go Yanks! Too I went to supermarket next down over- I meet a fellow huge Bills fan (redundant- I explain to people- there are no passive Bills fans- we are all all in!). We talk Bills. I walk into parking lot- I see a gigantic truck covered in Buffalo Bills stickers and a license plate that reads Billswin. how have I not seen this truck before? Lol -

I live in Massachusetts and I get Go Bills daily Giants used to play at Yale Bowl in New Haven( which is designed after the Roman coliseum. So older NE sports fans are NY Giants and Red Sox fans, which is an unusual combination lol -
Von Miller/Epenesa/Groot.......over/under 20 combined sacks??
Pete replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’ll take the over on all of your guesses. Bills had 54 sacks last year- 4th in the NFL! that’s without DaQuan and Milano. That’s with tomato cans behind Ed. And Bills were getting pressure without blitzing -
Von Miller/Epenesa/Groot.......over/under 20 combined sacks??
Pete replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like calculated, long shot bets. I would bet, given huge odds, that AJ, Groot, and Von all get 10+ sacks each. Bills got pressure last season, without DaQuan, and having tomato cans backing up Oliver. Smoot, Carter, Williams, Johnson are major upgrades on DL. DaQuan was leading NFL QB pressure rate at time of injury. Interior pressure destroys plays. Oliver was playing the majority of snaps. Now Ed has help on DL. DL will be more stout against the run too IMO -
Post your best Father/Son or Daughter sports moments
Pete replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
In 1979, my family moved from West Seneca to New England. Every year since, my Father makes sure we get to watch several games every year together. Back then- you rarely saw your team in another market. My father would drive to nearest bar showing the Bills, snd take me there, so we could watch together. I was 10. Every year since then, we go to multiple Bills games. Since 1979, I have seen most Bills games at Jets. Giants, and Pats, thanks to my Father for making that happen. We have done many pilgrimages to Buffalo together. My father is now 77. We still go to Bills games every year. My father, brother, and I are even tighter, thanks to our love for Buffalo. -

Bass struggling at minicamp (and now at training camp)
Pete replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Last season later in year, you saw Bass lost confidence just by looking at body posture and facial expressions. Bass has the Yips. I’m not aware of any success stories once a player suffered from Yips in any sport -
