Who would Donahoe and Levy/Jauron Choose
Pete replied to Fan in Chicago's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Donahoe would draft Cam Newton with his first, and trade back into the first to draft overpaying for another bust(I am guessing Bowers-that knee scares me). Then in FA he would overpay for some prima donna slug like Derek Dockery. Levy no doubt would draft Peterson, then reach for a Safety in the second round, then draft another CB in the 3rd. ANd he would over pay for some prima donna slug like Cornell Green -
Cool. Small world. I know it is never polite to ask a woman's age. But I was Daniel Hand class of 87. Did your wife go to Guilford HS? Another Guilford tidbit- the "Can You Hear Me Now?" guy is a resident. I lived in Madison for 20 years

New video from the Japan tsunami....pretty devastating stuff
Pete replied to The Poojer's topic in Off the Wall Archives
upon further review that man running into the tsunami was rescuing an elderly lady in a wheelchair. It looked like they made it. He is the man -
RD4-OG John Moffitt, Guilford, CT, I didn't realize Moffitt is from Guilford. That is local to me and Guilford was one of our high school rivals. Guilford is known for their soccer team and many times has been ranked #1 in country by USA Today

Two first round picks next year would be very nice. I like
-
I agree on all 3. Could you make this a double please?
-
I am basing my statement on our history of wasting high first round picks on tomato cans such as Maybin, Mike Williams etc. Perhaps you are impressed by our draft history the past 10 years. If so I find that absurd

Whoever doesn't want a QB at #3 is dillusional
Pete replied to buffalo_bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Who is this franchise QB you speak of? Dareous and Miller are can't miss IMO as long as they stay healthy. I cannot say the same about any QB this draft. I am sick of whiffing on our first round picks. Seriously- have we gotten any right the past 15 years besides Nate Clements and Lee Evans? -

Nothing is more embarrassing then not being able to stop the run. We are dead last at stopping the run. So lets draft a QB who will sit on their ass for the year or two and we can be last in the NFL again. Lets ignore front 7 help, especially when it is the deepest DL draft possibly ever. Lets ignore are defensive problems, and draft a QB(Newton will be a bust IMO), then we can set our selves up to draft Andrew Luck next year -
they are both black, male, both last names begin with M and are 6 letters long, American, played college football- holy crap- they are pretty much identical!

That is heart wrenching and cruel. Towards the end of the video one man is running into tsunami pulling people out. That man is a hero -
From your link- Um what am I supposed to be explaining again? Think about it. What happens to a JR's draft stock when they declare for the upcoming NFL draft after having 17 sacks against great competition, they are named All-American, and it is safe to assume Miller would of had a great combine last year. Where does a player like that tend to get drafted? Jrs make or break every NFL draft class. Walter Football is not a reliable source, nor are they a scout. I trust Mayock's opinion much more then Walter Football or Bleacher Report

The best description I read about Kaepernick's unorthodox throwing motion was a scout who said it looked like his lower and upper body were two different throwing motions. p-r-o-j-e-c-t. I don't want any stinking projects

The best Bills defense I have ever seen in my life was the late 80s/early 90s. Remember the NT in our 3-4? 270 pounds soaking wet Jeff Wright. The second best Bills defense I have ever seen in my life- the Bermuda Triangle. Starting NT in our 3-4? 270 pound Fred Smerlas. I don't give a damn about weight, I want football players! I am sure plenty here ripped on the Kyle WIlliams selection. But I will take an undersized rolling ball of razor blades over some easily winded pile of goo at NT
-
stupidity and hyrdrogen...... Miller had 17 sacks JR year and was All American. He would of blown up at the combine and soared up draft boards. He won the Butkus trophy and they don't hand that to finesse players. Quinn is intriguing but he is a one year wonder who has not played football the past year. Take a deep breath, fix your BS detector, don't hate and open your mind
-
Not bad. I think it is pretty close. I don't care for Gabbert that high, but if we were to prioritize a QB, Gabbert is the best available IMO. My mock is similar but I would switch Gabbert and Miller.
-
Fair enough. I agree with you about DL and OL part of the draft. That is why I am partial to Miller in the first. I know we have vastly different opinions about Miller. But if we are targeting OLB, there is big drop off after Miller/Quinn IMO. My Bills draft board would be Dareous 1, Miller 2. We agree about Reed. Can you imagine if we ended up with JJ Watt and Brooks Reed? Our D would be flying around the field pummeling people! That D would be kinetic and violent. It has been awhile
-
Al Davis and the Bills are the only two possibilities to be crazy enough and/or dumb enough to draft Kaerpernick in the first round
-
The ignorance regarding Miller astounds me. Miller would of been a first round pick last year if he declared, possibly a top 10. And all he did was return to school, produce mad numbers on the field, dominate the senior bowl, made Mayock write "wow" in his draft notes more then any other player in the country, blow up at the combine- and yet some brainiacs refer to Miller as Maybin. Hydrogen and stupidity like they say

It is going to drive up FA paydays. Few, if any teams will be able to fill all their needs with free agency. And with many teams in need of say a starting RT for instance, competition will drive up the price and favor big market teams. I wish we could of filled some needs already and kept our options more available in the draft. Anyways I would have a two year plan going into this draft. The team would be built to win now, but be poised to win the Superbowl in 2 years. We need a longer term outlook with this draft then the myopic past 10 debacles. Draft to win in 2012!

good example of stiff and nonathletic. Do you have a picture showing how small and undersized Von Miller is too?
-
is there any linebacker you like? We are running the 3-4 and in desperate need of LB's and it seems like you rip every LB in the draft
