  1. Isn't that what Walmart does?
  2. I dream of bulding one of these. This guy is one of my hero's http://www.documentarywire.com/?s=garbage+warrior
  3. Did I buy anything from China? I called out the US for all their talk about "free trade". And yes, I do realize how complicated the China situation is. Neither the US, nor China, nor the rest of the world, wants a trade war between US/China And one of the axioms of free trade is competition is good for the consumer
  4. be part of the solution, or you are part of the problem. Besides my iphone(which I am ditching when my contract is up, and my receiver)- I don't buy **** from China and I don't shop at Walmart. I am hoping to. I am reading all I can about the technology and saving my pennies. It will be in the next couple years edit- probably my computer too. But I don't buy frivolous stuff, and I do always try and buy local
  5. I reiterate "And I am against all tariffs, bailouts, and any form of protectionism. No matter if it's Walmart, or my local store"
  6. http://www.corpwatch.org/article.php?id=13550 And I am against all tariffs, bailouts, and any form of protectionism. No matter if it's Walmart, or my local store Very nice to hear from a civil poster who can lucidly explain their position. Thanks. Yes, I agree free trade is impossible with China. They manipulate their currency, so on that fact alone there is no free trade with China. But they are our biggest supplier, and the largest holder of US debt. Candidates and politicians talk big talk about going after China. But China holds all the cards. And not to mention, I am looking to convert my place to all solar : )
  7. Once again thank you for the kind words. I obviously have an IQ under 30. And I think I have made my feelings about Walmart abundantly clear. What didn't you understand about "!@#$ walmart"? Maybe I was too ambiguous
  8. I think 36 hour shifts, .10 labor an hour, and beatings if you don't produce X amount to drive domestic competition is free trade. We don't seem to have a problem with that though And your statement reeks of the Walmart business practice
  9. thank you for the kind words. What I want is the US to practice the free trade that they profess continually. Actions, not words please. And do you think Walmart products (undoubtedly from China) are not subsidized by the Chinese government? Let me repeat, if we profess free markets, let practice what we preach. !@#$ tariffs. !@#$ Walmart I gave my definition. What is yours?
  10. what in pray tell have I been opposite extreme about? Please enlighten me about my other views
  11. How about you answer my questions. BTW !@#$ Walmart
  12. so you are in favor of tariffs? Do you think the US practice's free trade?
  13. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/10/11/business/global/us-sets-tariffs-on-chinese-solar-panels.html?_r=0 Free Trade is a euphemism for no workers rights, no unions, and no compliance with environmental standards and protocols such as Kyoto. It doesn't apply to banks, insurance companies, nor the auto industry. Tariffs and free trade are mutually exclusive. And now they are protecting big energy so us citizens cannot get the market price for solar energy. "Fascism should more properly be called corporatism called because it is the merger of state and corporate power." -- Benito Musollini I concur.......And tariffs are horseshit
  14. I myself avoid threads about subjects that don't interest me ie American Idol, etc. Now excuse me while I go burn one
  15. he also loves to post in soccer threads that he doesn't like soccer. Like we give a ****
  16. 14th ammendment thoughtfully intended for free slaves rights but stolen by corporations for their own nefarious objectives
  17. "kickboxing, sport of the future" That flows better then "MMA, sport of the future"Lloyd Dobbler was prophetic.
  18. don't let the door hit you whiny, bitchy, fair weather, lousy, ex Bills fans. Go whine elsewhere
  19. I myself always seek out knowledge and appreciate when someone challenges me to rethink an issue. This is a BBC documentary, it won a 2004 BAFTA award for best factual series, the issues are very pertinent to all of our lives, and the facts are presented concisely. But choose to take the blue pill if you would like. It is a semi-free country
  20. Anyone actually watch the whole video and care to comment?
  21. Would you like the blue pill or the red pill?
  22. Well done BBC documentary about neocons and terrorists. Those with short attention spans can skip to the crux of the series in part 3. Utter buffoons... part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xGo1DqmfHjY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qATc5jRbVOA&feature=relmfu part 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0kNNqZk3mg&feature=relmfu part 3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qATc5jRbVOA&feature=relmfu part 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0kNNqZk3mg&feature=relmfu
  23. that's it, thanks! It sounds like it was one hell of a party
  24. I like Geno Smith too but doubt we will be in a position to draft him. Heck, he could go #1 overall. I have not watched college ball this year. Which linebackers are impressive? We could use some help at LB
  25. Ralph Wilson baked the largest cake ever to celebrate the Old Hickory signing............ I could of sworn I read some where Jackson had the biggest White House party ever for his inauguration and I thought I read he had the largest cake ever at that time....but sometimes my memory fails me
