Your Top 5 Worst Draft Picks Of The Modrak Era
Pete replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
we chose lil donte over Freeney, Ed Reed, Haynesworth, John Henderson, Portis, Javon Walker, Charles Grant..... the fact that we whiffed with the 4th overall selection in a talent laden draft cements this as the worst pick of the Modrak era. First draft for Modrak, and we have sucked ever since -
yeah that is the only way I drink coke. Lots of bourbon on ice and splash of coke

Amen. I have seen hundreds of games at Yankee Stadium and the old stadium was electric. I was a bleacher creature. In 1996 and before bleacher tickets did not go on sale until 4:00 game day. It was general admission and $6.00. I even saw double headers for $6. The action in the bleachers usually was more entertaining then the game. Now it is way too corporate and shiny for me. Hard Rock is the biggest rip off. 2 shots jagermeister $24.00, 1 Makers Mark Rocks $14.00, 1 Bud $7.35, Tax $4.02= $49.37. And it is a shame they priced out the real Yankee fans to sell out to a bunch of lifeless yuppies. It saddens me to see no one sitting behind home plate because real Yankees fans can't afford them. I digress Pooj- I hope you had a great time at the game. Sorry I didn't see this thread before. I hope they Yanks won

IMO Coca Cola is one of the main reason Americans are obese. Obesity is a slow death- diabetes, heart attacks, strokes...

Whitner rated by ESPN experts as #7 overall saftey in NFL
Pete replied to pmak's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Polamulu had 2244 votes Whitner had 10. My guess is Whitner voted for himself 8 times or so a late 7th is my guess -
And we have sucked ever since. Good riddance. And for Mike Williams, Maybin, Whitner, etc

The al-Qaeda leader was not armed when United States Special Forces stormed his compound in Pakistan but he did resist before he was shot, White House spokesman Jay Carney said on Tuesday.

I think these mistakes steal thunder from the SEALS. They kicked ass! They hit so fast Bin Laden did not have a chance

I am saying that our government continually lies to us and feeds us propaganda. It makes us look bad to the rest of the world and destroys our credibility. Lying is US government policy and has been for some time. Look at gulf of Tonkin. Just be straight with us
-
Let me start by saying that I am so pumped that we got Bin Laden. But what is up with all the spinning? How does it go from Bin Laden shielded himself with his wife, and went down shooting, everyone dead- now they say one wife lived, bin laden was unarmed, and he didnt shield himself with his wife. The spokes person said that we wanted to take him alive, but the fact that Bin Laden went down shooting gave them no chance to take him. What the !@#$ is going on? They are lying threw their teeth. The night the news broke Fox had a story online that Bin Laden was killed a week ago by a drone, and they were waiting a week for DNA confirmation. What the !@#$? Can't the government be straight with us? How does this make America look to the rest of the world? They lied about Jessica Lynch. And they lied about Pat Tillman. Stop the propaganda and be straight with us

most stuff by Aerosmith. They have a couple decent old school tunes, but man did they end up sucking. Tyler is so whiny- man they have awful songs -
I was looking at the roster last night and there will be some tough cuts, especially on defense. Maybe Maybin could be a situational pass rusher, but I am not holding my breath. Competition for a defensive spot will be fierce. Maybin better show something this preseason or he is endangered of being cut. We have no room on the roster for projects. And Gailey does not give a damn what round you were drafted. Put up or shut up time for Maybin 50 Ayodele, Akin LB 6-2 245 31 9 Purdue 57 Batten, Danny LB 6-4 250 23 R South Dakota State 31 Byrd, Jairus S 5-10 200 24 2 Oregon 92 Carrington, Alex DE 6-5 284 23 R Arkansas State 59 Coleman, Antonio LB 6-1 248 24 R Auburn 27 Corner, Reggie CB 5-9 175 27 3 Akron 33 Corto, Jon S 6-1 220 26 3 Sacred Heart 54 Davis, Andra LB 6-1 251 32 9 Florida 98 Edwards, Dwan DE 6-3 290 29 6 Oregon State 56 Ellison, Keith LB 6-0 229 27 5 Oregon State 29 Florence, Drayton CB 6-0 195 30 8 Tuskegee 72 Heard, Kellen DT 6-6 355 25 R Memphis 91 Johnson, Spencer DE 6-3 286 29 7 Auburn 90 Kelsay, Chris LB 6-4 261 31 8 Nebraska 45 Kirlew, Jammie LB 6-3 260 23 R Indiana 58 Maybin, Aaron LB 6-4 250 23 2 Penn State 97 McCargo, John DE 6-2 307 27 5 NC State 24 McGee, Terrence CB 5-9 198 30 8 Northwestern State 28 McKelvin , Leodis CB 5-10 184 25 3 Troy 52 Moats, Arthur LB 6-2 250 23 R James Madison 51 Posluszny, Paul LB 6-1 238 26 4 Penn State 76 Rinehart, Chad OL 6-5 307 25 3 Northern Iowa 43 Scott, Bryan S 6-1 219 30 8 Penn State 53 Torbor, Reggie LB 6-2 250 30 7 Auburn 96 Troup, Torell NT 6-3 315 22 R Central Florida 20 Whitner, Donte S 5-10 208 25 5 Ohio State 95 Williams, Kyle NT 6-1 306 27 5 LSU 37 Wilson, George S 6-0 212 30 5 Arkansas 26 Youboty, Ashton CB 5-11 189 26 5 Ohio State Round Pick Overall Pos. Sure it is evolution. But usually evolution is not that instant. For every action there is a reaction. For example: That is pressure cooker evolution. It is man !@#$ing with nature. Another example of man !@#$ing with nature and evolution being expedited is how we pollute animals with antibiotics- and today antibiotics are growing more resistant in humans. GMO's are a Pandora's Box. It is pure arrogance, ignorance, and quite delusional to think we can outsmart nature. Monsanto is guilty as charged

I suspected Wanny had a big part of the draft myself. I was a little shocked we didn't draft Romeus or Sheard- but Wanny would know. Defense wins and I am excited to see the game plan with our new defensive talent
