  1. first time in awhile Leodis had disrupted an object in flight
  2. He didn't make one pass the whole entire game. I have played pick up games my whole life and can't stand playing with Dbags like that
  3. I have never been in a Union but I am all for them! I am proworkers!
  4. Teo in a second. Instantly makes this team much better. QB in second round- if he grades out. I wouldn't be opposed to drafting LBs the first 3 rounds Would you take Mark Sanchez over Teo? Jay Cutler?
  5. Last CD bought was Wilco the album on July 30 2009(amazon). I have two turntables, and am always on the lookout for vinyl. My last score was a bunch of Herb Alpert and Miles LPs. And I miss Demonoid! I guess I will have to checkout usenet
  6. what the !@#$ is the cia and fbi doing spying on Petraeus?
  7. The first album I ever bought was The Doors Greatest Hits Second The Doors The Soft Parade Third AC/DC Powerage and I have been collecting music ever since

  9. orange oil for ants. I am all about eco-friendly soloutions
  10. Thanks! I am sorry guffalo about your situation. Still no power by me. I like it! Bonfire and ghost stories last night, ice cold beers, trail mix, French drip coffee- this is fun!
  11. The surge was more severe west of new haven but some houses and restaraunts did get taken out. We had high winds (85 mph), little rain. My town and surrounding towns power is out. Poor New Jersey. They got the brunt. Amazing storm. Lowest ever barometric reading. An average hurricane is 300 miles wide- sandy was 1000. Nyc will be interesting. As will the election. Interesting times we live in
  12. what mickey mouse sight are you getting 3-4 foot surge? http://www.nhc.noaa....esurge#contents NOAA has 13-15 foot surge.
  13. I saw the damage Gloria did to the shoreline and have heard the stories from old timers about the 1938 hurricane. When they talk about the storm surge being worse then 38, that is a big !@#$ing deal. I am not scared for myself- I am a survivalist with months worth of food, and I live 180 feet above sea level, and Jim Cantore has my dream job. I am scared for my friends that live south of post road- they are about to lose everything. One girl I was hanging with earlier tonight lives on the beach. Last year Irene almost leveled her place. Well she had to think what to grab tonight that was irreplacable, because her place is about to get wiped out, and she is mandatorily being evacuated this evening. I just drove along shore an hour after high tide- and it is already flooding. And when they are talking about 10-12 foot surge tomorrow night in the sound- a lot of peoples worlds will be !@#$ed. That is what I am fearful about
  14. Loaded up on chocolate, bourbon, and beer! I am a weather freak that loves storms! I have been through Blizzard 77, Hurricane Irene, Hurricane Gloria, I have seen tornado's, I love it all! But this storm scares the bejesus out of me. Gloria the storm surge was past route 1 and almost to interstate 95, This storm surge is supposed to surpass the 1938 surge(the worst surge for this area on record). Leaves will clog grates, astronomical high tides, and a perfect storm type set up with 90 mph SW winds driving the sound towards NYC. Gloria destroyed south of route 1. And I think NYC will be under water. I hope to God I am wrong
  15. I am becoming fearful of Sandy. Possible 8-12 storm surge in LI sounds and NYC. It is setting up to be the worst case scenario. 80 MPH SW gusts driving water into sound, towards city, and building high. They are talking 15-20 foot waves. If I lived in NYC or by beach, I would most definitely get the hell out asap. Hop a plane or train somewhere, drive, whatever, and go someplace nice and try and have fun. We are !@#$ed Hells Gate is going to be crazy tonight
  16. I live by the Sound in CT and fear for LI. LI is a break wall for CT. Good luck. I wish you all safety
  17. Ants love electricity and are often found in electrical boxes. I wonder if they are in the dash behind the radio or something where they are getting a charge
  18. It looks like Jersey is going to get brunt of storm. NYC east of eye wall. Storm front approaching from West. They are saying possibly worst storm in 100 years. This has makings of the Perfect Storm- and it is supposed to hit on Oct 30, the 23rd anniversary of the Perfect Storm. This system is awesome! http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/goes/east/eaus/flash-wv.html
  19. This is a decent dehydrator http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0090WOCN0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&keywords=food%20dehydrator&qid=1351257371&sr=8-2 I plan on building a kick ass smoker this winter and doing some BBQ competitions
  20. Well said. This is my problem with sports today. I love to play and watch any sport- but no longer watch TV. The greed has ruined it for me. I used to go to 10-30 games a year- now I listen to the Yanks on the radio
  21. I have seen hundreds of games at Yankee Stadium and the new stadium sucks! My favorite seat would be the $6 dollar general admission bleacher seat that went on sale at 4 the day of the game- and if you were lucky you could catch a double header for that $6. That place was electric! The energy was incredible! The new place kind of looks like the old stadium, it is more sanitized and corporate friendly, but it has no soul. They ruined Yankee Stadium. It is all about money. 2 shots Jagermeister, 2 Heinekens at Hard Rock inside the new park- $48! Greedy mother!@#$ers have ruined one of the all time great stadiums. I want my $6 seat back in a real stadium That article is spot on
  22. Yoga is my favorite type of exercise, nature is my religion, and I particulariy enjoy practicing yoga outdoors. Couple that with mantras, meditation, breathing exercises, in a natural setting on a glorious day- Yoga can be considered a religion. It transcends exercise
