Draft climber: LB Khalil Mack, Buffalo
Pete replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We could use him. Good luck this season, and I hope he ends up being a Bill -
good choices. I also like Cannonball Adderly "Mercy Mercy Mercy", Ray Charles, Ramsey Lewis Trio, and Stone Roses for drinking. What say you? Is the rest of this board a bunch of Lemonade Lucy's?

Good for you! I love Wilco and think they are the best band going today. And they are great live. Aren't they playing with Dylan and My Morning Jacket too? Dylan gets heavy rotation here too (as do the Dead too)

I am enjoying some Bourbon now, listening to My Dusty Road by Woody Guthrie. Stones, Wilco, Son House are great to listen to for drinking. What other albums are good drinking music?

spot on. GM was the most profitable company in the world in the early 80's- yet they were still shutting down plants and moving to Mexico. 1960 Detroit had the highest per capita income. It was known as the Paris of the West. And it is heartbreaking what has happened to one of our most beautiful cities

Johnny Football: Drinking problem?
Pete replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And he probably is having premarital sex too! Shocking behavior for a college kid! He sounds like another Hernandez -

Mariano Rivera's entrance in the All-Star Game
Pete replied to The Poojer's topic in Off the Wall Archives
classy tribute for a classy man. Mo is the greatest reliever ever, and he did it with pure class. I am convinced Mo can pitch the next 10 years and still be dominant. His cutter is practically unhittable, and he throws with a perfect motion, so he never gets repetive stress injuries to his shoulder/elbow/wrist. They always said Mo was best athlete on the Yanks, even in his older years. And a younger Mo- I have never seen anyone break more bats. First ballot hall of famer and a pure pleasure for this Yankee fan to watch his whole career. -
Keith Olbermann returning to ESPN
Pete replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Dan Patrick and Olberman were a classic Sportscenter team. Bob Meese and Charlie Steiner too. What is Kilburn up to these days? That dude was funny. Those were the good old days of ESPN. Now everything is overproduced. I don't understand how anyone can !@#$ up Sportscenter, but they did -
I am making the switch and buying a 12" memory foam mattress this week

Grafting is cool as hell. And it works on any plant or tree Right now I have Meyers Lemon Trees, Key Lime Trees, and heirloom lemon tree that was Trapper Nelson's favorite- all growing inside my place. I plan on grafting all of them and have citrus trees in every window

Patriots' Hernandez arrested in homicide investigation
Pete replied to Golden Wheels's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I cherish my civil liberties and am thankful there is an ACLU to combat PATRIOT act. etc. Solitary confinement is cruel and unusual. They say every man breaks in solitary confinement. Hernandez is a POS and justice will be served. And it was Dostoyesky who stated "The degree of civilization in a society can be judged by entering its prisons." -
I have a massive collection of baseball, football, hockey, star wars, charlies angels, battlestar galactica, welcome back cotter, etc cards. It takes up so much room, and I didn't realize how much I had until I recently moved. I keep trying to sell them on craigslist. People are looking for one particular set, but I want to sell whole collection. I would accept a low offer, and just want to declutter

Same here Pooj. I don't watch TV, and constantly have music playing instead. Shazam is wonderful for learning new music. Get well brother!
