  1. Thanks. Browns have a great core, mad draft picks this year, Pettine, and lots of cap room. I predict they win that division next season
  2. can anyone make out the other names?
  3. they like Moats
  4. teams are interested in Carrington and Chandler too
  5. I think Bradford and Cutler got beat up more then any other QBs the past 5 years. Williams was part of both those lines
  6. cap management is not signing Fitz, Kelsay, Langston ETC to huge contracts, and retaining your best players and paying them accordingly
  7. who changed the title of the thread? It ruins the context
  8. former WR Golden Tate? whats his new position?
  9. so Byrd isn't worth 9 mill, levire wasnt worth 8 mill. Heres to moral victorys and being 20 million under the cap. Cheers to another 6 win season
  10. I havent heard any offers for Spikes yet. Where there is smoke, there is fire. Maybe teams took him off their boards for behavior
  11. my bills board is Clowney-Robertson-Mack-Watkins-Mathews-Donald. If the first five are off board and we stay pat at 9- I take Donald with no hessitation. Its not a need, but he is a force
  12. they had years to lock up byrd
  13. I think Aaron Donald and Dee Ford are going to be the the biggest havoc wreakers in this draft

  15. true. But can you find one positive article written about Williams?
  16. I think we overpaid in a desperation move after the run on lineman in the first 8 hours. We needed a LG after letting Levitre go, and not much was left in scrap heap- so I guess we needed to secure Williams. Maybe he can be adequate. And his verasatility is a plus. I am hoping we spend two high picks on oline this draft.
  17. the bears cut him. Way beyond benching
  18. it tripled his salary from the previous year. !@#$ I bust my balls at work and would love a 5% raise, let alone a 300%
  19. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports the Texans are interested in free agent G/T Chris Williams. Williams started all 16 games at left guard for the Rams last season, but was overmatched both as a pass protector and run blocker. The former No. 14 overall pick of the Bears shouldn't be looked at as a starter, though the Rams appear to still see him that way and remain interested in re-signing Williams.Mar 12 - 1:29 AM Source: St Louis Post-Dispatch Bills signed G Chris Williams to a four-year, $13.5 million contract with $5.5 million guaranteed. The move is a head scratcher after Williams graded out as Pro Football Focus' No. 74 guard among 81 qualifiers in 2013, and finished 76th in pass blocking. The Rams wanted him back, but certainly not at this price. Buffalo ostensibly plans to pencil in Williams at left guard, which was a gaping hole following Andy Levitre's 2013 departure. Williams turns 29 before next season. Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter Mar 12 - 10:44 AM
  20. there has been such a run on offensive lineman that perhaps it was fair value for Williams. Rams are hurting now- they lose Williams, and Saffold and others are already off the market. Oline free agents got signed in bunches more then any other position. That leads me to beleive that we must draft a tackle in first two rounds, the sooner the better
  21. Cleveland wasn't and they lost TJ Ward. Seattle nipped it in bud and signed Michael Bennet. There were not that many stellar free agents. And the top ones Mack, Orakpo, Graham- never hit the market
