  2. true. But can you find one positive article written about Williams?
  3. I think we overpaid in a desperation move after the run on lineman in the first 8 hours. We needed a LG after letting Levitre go, and not much was left in scrap heap- so I guess we needed to secure Williams. Maybe he can be adequate. And his verasatility is a plus. I am hoping we spend two high picks on oline this draft.
  4. the bears cut him. Way beyond benching
  5. it tripled his salary from the previous year. !@#$ I bust my balls at work and would love a 5% raise, let alone a 300%
  6. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports the Texans are interested in free agent G/T Chris Williams. Williams started all 16 games at left guard for the Rams last season, but was overmatched both as a pass protector and run blocker. The former No. 14 overall pick of the Bears shouldn't be looked at as a starter, though the Rams appear to still see him that way and remain interested in re-signing Williams.Mar 12 - 1:29 AM Source: St Louis Post-Dispatch Bills signed G Chris Williams to a four-year, $13.5 million contract with $5.5 million guaranteed. The move is a head scratcher after Williams graded out as Pro Football Focus' No. 74 guard among 81 qualifiers in 2013, and finished 76th in pass blocking. The Rams wanted him back, but certainly not at this price. Buffalo ostensibly plans to pencil in Williams at left guard, which was a gaping hole following Andy Levitre's 2013 departure. Williams turns 29 before next season. Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter Mar 12 - 10:44 AM
  7. there has been such a run on offensive lineman that perhaps it was fair value for Williams. Rams are hurting now- they lose Williams, and Saffold and others are already off the market. Oline free agents got signed in bunches more then any other position. That leads me to beleive that we must draft a tackle in first two rounds, the sooner the better
  8. Cleveland wasn't and they lost TJ Ward. Seattle nipped it in bud and signed Michael Bennet. There were not that many stellar free agents. And the top ones Mack, Orakpo, Graham- never hit the market
  9. when a team that wants to win has a top player that is a free agent- they franchise them. IE-Jimmy Graham, Brian Orakpo If you are complacent and just fine about your 6-10 team, you let your best players walk for nothing
  10. you forgot to mention that we let Byrd go for nothing. I wouldn't be so frustrated if we kept Byrd
  11. chris williams, mike causin, and a kicker. Bring on the broncos!
  12. thats right, our special teams are stellar. I forgot
  13. replace Levitre with Williams- that is how you miss out on the playoffs this millenium
  14. no finesse players on the Bills! We need maulers!
  15. 13.5 million would of been a season and a half of Byrd. Byrd or a tomato can?
  16. http://espn.go.com/blog/buffalo-bills/post/_/id/7924/bills-hosting-ol-chris-williams-on-visit so lets sign him for 4 years 13.5 million
  17. Dekoda signed with the Jags. The Bills asleep at the wheel again. It is pretty !@#$ing pathetic when you start losing players to the jags http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/5967/dekoda-watson
  18. !@#$ing escalator clause. And our oline has sucked ever since. Was Wilford the last time we used a first round pick on oline? holy ****. Thats right, back then we drafted CB every year to replace the previous one
  19. Mike Causin and a kicker- this is what aggression looks like
  20. who are we going to sign with the left over mone? Yesterday we needed help oline, linebacker, tightend, wide receiver, and depth. Today we added a gaping hole at FS. Most of the top lineman, defensive backs, and linebackers were snapped up quickly
  21. 6-10 6-10 6-10 4-12 6-10 7-9 7-9 7-9 5-11 9-7 6-10 8-8 3-13
