  1. Kirby Jackson thought we might take a run at Bradford. He is due something like $13 or $15 million next season and most likely will be available. It would be a good move IMO
  2. Any ideas bill on other ways to screw them?
  3. But "guards are so easy to find in nfl" and "you don't spend a high pick on a guard" - two of the dumbest things I have read on this board(and I read most every BF post). I lobbied for us to draft Zack Martin last year and was jeered. Just imagine how much Zack would help this offense
  4. Mayo, Ridley, and Connolly all knocked out of the game. The Bills beat up every opponent they play
  5. Denver needs a RB and Spiller would be a great fit. I am not sure what there guard situation is though.
  6. Woods is one of my favorite players. He is tough, runs hard, is an excellent blocker, always hustling, and fearless. His catch against the Bears was incredible and helped win the game. And like Kelly the dog stated, not every contribution shows up in the stat sheet. Woods is a solid #2 and will only get better with Kyle Orton at QB
  7. alex smith looked horrible rookie year and I thought he would never make it on nfl. Well he is pretty decent now, so qbs can do a 180. So there is some hope for EJ, although it doesn't look good. At any rate, we need to start grooming a backup.
  8. Fair enough. But CJ runs up the middle. Not to mention he is 4 inches and 40 pounds smaller then EJ. If EJ gets another chance- I want to see him step up in pocket, take a hit, and throw a homerun ball to Watkins or anyone and and I would like to see EJ lower his shoulder and get a first down. If he wants to be a captain, actions, not words. What you do should speak so loudly that no one will hear what you say- Marv .
  9. i agree. But some show courage and make plays(woods courageous catch week 1, Fred every week, etc) and some instead step out of bounds. EJ plays mad timid. He needs to see the wizard
  10. From what I have seen, EJ has a lot of Jim "Chrissy" Everett in him. Many times on 3rd down, EJ has a chance at making a 1st down, but instead steps out of bounds and avoids contact. He got hit a lot against the Texans, and appeared to me to be rattled. Remember Jim Kelly throwing blocks on reverses and tackling whomever intercepted him? I remember him breaking a guys leg tackling them. EJ has yet to show me 1% of Jim Kelly's toughness Prove me wrong EJ. I am calling you out, but rooting for you all the while I predict Orton passes for 300 yards and completes passes downfield to WR's, and not checking down every play
  11. Should of drafted Gabe Jackson over cujo. Man he would solidify our oline and fortify one of our neglected guard positions
  12. Bring him home when his contract is up. We should have a couple Super Bowl wins by then, and be a team that top players want to sign with
  13. Don't forget Nick Foles at 88 and Kirk Cousins at 102
  14. Well I'm about to get upset/sick From watchin' my TV
  15. I was going to post this. Now I am a dixiecup drinker brilliant http://www.npr.org/blogs/allsongs/2008/06/about_a_song_i_am_trying_to_br.html
  16. Women think I'm tasty, but they're always tryin' to waste me And make me burn the candle right down, But baby, baby, I don't need no jewels in my crown.
  17. I picked the Bills last week- only 4% of us picked Buffalo last week
  18. Dead>Phish and its not even close IMO. RIght now listening to tapers show- bertha>good lovin'>sugaree
  19. My friend is leaving 4:00 am the outer banks for a much deserved vacatation. She has had it planned for the past 6 months, and has a good attitude, and will make the most of it. And I am planning my menu now-guac and carnitas will be on it. But I was looking for additions for my cocktail- juiced watermelon, cilantro, chilis, tequilla, limes- what else? What would Rick Bayless add to that drink? exactly. And y'all from New Orleans know the drill better then anyone. Booze, and more booze
