  1. I like us signing Bradford or Locker and having open competition between them and EJ. I like Locker's big arm, leadership and toughness. Also I am not writing off EJ. He has great work ethic and attitude- and he still is 24 and practically a rookie. Hopefully he learned a lot this past season and put it all together. At any rare, any of the 3 have heart, something gutless orton did not
  2. I hope Gurley falls to us, but expect him to be drafted around 20th. We are set at cb and defense and need at least two new guards. And my guess is we TE in the 3rd aj cann in the 3rd? Dream on
  3. captain hindsight is not a captain at all. In fact he is a lowly seamen
  4. thanks- I appreciate zepp playing for my sake!
  5. Not bad considering our options. Retaining Hughes, searcy, and Wynn and fixing oline should be priority. I like the idea of improving RB position and returning to team that was second leading rushing team in nfl last season
  6. agreed not to mention our first victory at Gillette. I am not sure what original poster is whining about. Didn't we play the pats last year in a meaningless game against pats and get blown out? What that of been a better option? I will take 9-7, pick 50, and a 1 game winning streak against pats
  7. I would love to see us sign them both! Lots of teams had bad offensive lines and there aren't lots of options. Last year everyone overpaid for OL. I expect big salaries this year. No question - we need at least two new starters- maybe 3 absolutely
  8. Sign Hughes, search, Wynn should be priority. Then do whatever it takes to sign Iupati. I would draft Gurley, trading up if I had to. And Jordan Cameron might be the answer at te
  9. I loved Odell Beckham, Zack Martin, and Aaron Donald on draft day. Gabe Jackson is a player I liked. Also Xavier- the guard from UCLA. I hated Ebron and Mike Evans
  10. Todd Gurley would do wonders for our running game- and he is a great receiver out of the backfield. Problem is, will he make it to our second round pick? He is coming of a major knee injury. And running backs are dropping to second round lately. Another option I like is Justin Forsett. He is a free agent this year. Not a big back, but he is productive, and also a good receiver out of backfield. I like CJ. But he is not an every down back. He would be great as a change of pace back for us, and with creative ways to get him the ball in space. But as much as I love Fred and Boobie- we can upgrade a key skill position. The rest of the draft and free agents- lots of new lineman, and a TE and QB what the hell happened? We need to get back to this spot next season
  11. interesting interpretation. There are many other deep lines. "They are selling postcards of the hanging" refers to a lynching in Minnesota, which they sold postcards of. Dylan states that all the characters are people he knows, but he changed the names. Lots of metaphors to decipher. Ophelia a people pleaser from Hamlet. Navy hits up a beauty parlor, and clock strikes midnight, and Cinderella needs to pick up mess. Romeo tries to pick up someone elses girl, and and a melee. The nurse, a local loser has both cynide pills and has cards that say "have mercy on their soul". Casanova- "kills him with self confidence, after poisoning him with words" Ezra Pound, TS Elliot, mermaids, monks, Nero, hunchback of Notre Dame, Noah, Einstein, Robin Hood, the Good Samaritan, etc- they all are characters Dylan knew
  12. Punting on 4th and 2 trailing late in game- screw you capitulate Doug!
  13. And every Dylan and Woody song tells a story- its hard to pick one
  14. Desolation Row- Dylan One of my favorite Dylan songs. I love the rich imagery, but after listening over the years, I still can't decipher what it's about-
  15. maybe if orton would throw the ball to a !@#$ing wr woods would be stellar
  16. cut him and get some real football players here(don't slide on 3rd and 1, etc)
