Why do we have fervent Pats** supporters on TSW?
Pete replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
holy **** there are 6 pats threads on top of TBD -
You can never have too many cornerbacks

I am 195 and 10%. Must do some more running and try and get down more. Damn 2% is impressive!

Which of the UDFAs will make the final roster??
Pete replied to ChanOverChin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tarpley and Reed have best shots. Problem is our roster is loaded and there are going to be many tough cuts. You watch other teams grab our cuts when we get to 53. That is how far this team has come under Whaley -
Dante Fowler, Jeff Heuerman tear ACL in rookie camp

has anyone ever known a sociopath?
Pete replied to kelsay2sackseason's topic in Off the Wall Archives
sociopaths are very common IMO. Telltale signs are a lack of empathy, vanity, never remorseful, etc -
did you see the episode? He had to come up with $160 million. He forged papers and got Fleet bank in Boston to lend $80 million. Then he negotiated 6 monthly payments of $17 million. He was acting owner for two months and negotiated the cablevision deal. And the upscale LI hotel where Spano pulled supermodels was negoiating to be a partner with Spano and pay the $17 million monthly balance. He was in discussions and nearly had that deal when the scam was up

Big Shot was great. John Spanos almost pulled it off. Scary how easy it was. He lived the high life for two months. Mike Milbury said Spanos showed up at his place-"are you ready?" "ready for what" "I have two beautiful women coming over. They are going to do each other, then they are going to do us"

How about Clay?

Report:Seahawks didn't properly investigate Frank Clark
Pete replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives

I love the optimism!

I am going with Glenn-Richie-Wood-Miller-Sentral Any chance Kujo can win starting job? Can Williams stay healthy and be decent? Did Cyril work hard this season? Does Urbik revert back when he was a decent guard?

Alex Carrington in Buffalo for FA visit // Update: signed
Pete replied to johnwalter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sheppard was parlayed into Jerry Hughes. And Carrington blocked 6 kicks rookie year, and played something like 70 percent of the time. May our 3rd and 4th picks be as productive as Carrington and Sheppard -
Alex Carrington in Buffalo for FA visit // Update: signed
Pete replied to johnwalter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
welcome back megahand! Great signing who will be very valuable. He will play a lot of snaps On a sidenote- we had stellar special teams last year with Easley. Boobie, Corey. We lost Larry Dean, but added megahand, Darby, Steward, Karlos....Our special teams will rock next year! -
Bruce Irvin goes on rant after Seahawks decline option
Pete replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I love Irvin as a football player, but can't stand his character. Case in point, as soon the Pats locked up the Superbowl last year, Irvin cheapshotted someone, and almost got mauled by Gronk. Win with class, lose with class. Irvin has none -
RD 6, Pick 188: LB Tony Steward, Clemson
Pete replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like this pick a lot. Steward was a five star recruit who blew out his knee his first two seasons. He worked hard to come back from two devastating injuries for a great senior year with 10 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, 7 special teams tackles, and 12 QB pressures(which led Clemson and beat out Vic Beasley). He is a great athlete with all the measurables. I think we will be pleasantly surprised by Steward. -
spot on. I do think there will be some additons to our roster after June 1. And I think we will get creative with cap space- so there might very well be cap casualties too

If La'el Collins drops do Bills take him?
Pete replied to ALLEN1QB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
zero chance. The NFL already said so And IMO, he is involved. The NFL is all about winning, and most every team needs a tenacious guard. Thugs like DGB, Frank Clark, etc get drafted hih regardless of character. For all 32 teams to take Collins off their draft boards is very telling -

a punter gets drafted before Michael Bennet? And damn, a long snapper just went before Bennet. WTF is going on?
