Last years team reminded me of the 1987 team-. After we beat the colts and pats next year- the rest of the NFL will be put on notice
-
I will reserve my final prediction until closer to our pick to see our options. Front 7 I am almost certain, and good chance after a trade down. Jarvis Harrison and jeff heurerman with our following two picks

Interesting show. The premise is if the murder is not solved within the first 48 hours, the trail usually goes cold. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/10371/lael-collins ESPN's Todd McShay said on SportsCenter that he spoke to six NFL teams on Wednesday night, and "all six" predicted LSU T/G La'El Collins will fall out of the first round. Although not necessarily seen as a suspect, Collins is wanted for questioning regarding a murder of his ex-girlfriend in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His situation won't be settled until after the draft. Per McShay, "almost all" of the six teams said they've removed Collins from their boards, meaning they wouldn't draft Collins even if he were available in the seventh round. Apr 30 - 12:51 PM

Have you ever watched The First 48? And it is reported many teams have taken Collins off their draft boards. He is probably the best lineman in this draft. Collins was a 5 star recruit out of high school, all american in college, would of been a high selection last draft, but came back for senior year and played great. Scouts have been following him for a long time. To pull Collins off the draft board is telling. I bet every team in the nfl is trying to solve this this case and weigh risk/reward. But where there is smoke there tends to be fire
-
Any lawyer will tell you not to talk to the police. It seems like they use "not considered a suspect" to lure someone in for questioning
-
And isn't it fairly standard "not considered a suspect" ?
-
Collins would be a gift at 50 if he is innocent. He is exactly what our oline needs. But this is a bizarre story. Collins is an eagle scout too
-
Good point. Cann would be huge
-
oops thanks. Any chance Gregory falls to us? TJ Clemmings would be fantastic at 50
-
I predict Saints draft Williams

TRADE DOWN.......the smart thing to do.
Pete replied to ChanOverChin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am all for a trade down unless some great player fall to us. Front 7 defense please second round and then fix the oline And extra 4th might land us Jeff Heurman or Tony Lippet or oline help -
Front 7 -Preston Smith, Carl Davis, Stephone Anthony, Michael Bennet- hopefully after a trade down

I agree- depending on whom we draft -
Thoughts on trade down?

I am convinced Whaley will trade down, possibly multiple times. If they are going to draft Petty, it will be after a trade down IMO. And we would trade 1 of our QBs-perhaps Cassel. That is if EJ or Tyrod show they can be a good starter. My guess is Whalley loads up on picks in the third thru fifth round. And possibly what the poster above said-a trade down for picks next year
