I like Sheldon Rankins a lot. But where would he fit for the Bills? If we are committed to a 3-4- I don't see him playing nt and he does not have prototypical size for an end.

If he is healthy, why not? 6'2 217 4.39 40. He is a special teams demon, and has made plays when he gets reps at WR. Worth a shot if he is healthy IMO

If the draft fell like that- Jaylon, Miles, Spence, all off board by 19- I surmise Whaley trades down. The second and third rounds are loaded with talent this year. And we have many needs- RT, ILB, OLB, DE, S, WR for starters. Some additional picks would be very helpful

release Mario, boobie, carpenter. Extend Gilmore and Wood- lessening their cap hit this year. Restructure Leodis, Felton, and Kyle- if they don't agree, release them. Tag Cordy, and negotiate long term, deal. Sign Cog 4 year deal

signing Glenn and Cog is imperative. The Bills led the league in rushing, with 3 different running backs with over 500 yards. Thank Cordy and Richie(and Eric) for that. Once we sign those 2, we can focus on the defense and BPA. If we lose either, we must draft replacement early, with a big opportunity cost with all the front 7 talent available.

The Minneapolis Star-Tribune's Matt Vensel expects the Vikings to release at least one of LT Matt Kalil or RT Phil Loadholt. Kalil was the fourth overall pick in the 2012 draft and is set to count $11.096 million against the cap after the Vikings exercised his fifth-year option last offseason. Minnesota can clear the entire $11.096 million off the salary cap by releasing Kalil. He's started all 64 games since entering the NFL, but Kalil has been horrific in pass protection.
