Question regarding maximum heart rate for fitness fans and Doctors
Pete replied to Pete's topic in Off the Wall Archives
My resting heart rate is 61- lower than 94% of population. My concern was 161. I do the same workout I have done for years, and I am not out of breath- I feel great running a steep hill and bpm are 161 -
So I am 50 years old, and very active- running, training, biking, jumping rope- my heart tends to average 148 beats per minute, and has gone up to 161. At what point should I back off? They say 80% of 220-50=170 Bpm does being very active make it safer to be at higher end of maximum heart rate? Thank you for any info!

Its Bob Dylan's Birthday... I Have This...What do you have?
Pete replied to T&C's topic in Off the Wall Archives
That is kind of like Alanis and irony. Dylan lyrics are always beautiful, cryptic, poetry open to interpretation. Hey! Mr. Tambourine man, play a song for meI'm not sleepy and there is no place I'm going toHey! Mr. Tambourine man, play a song for meIn the jingle jangle morning I'll come following youThough I know that evening's empire has returned into sandVanished from my handLeft me blindly here to stand but still not sleepingMy weariness amazes me, I'm branded on my feetI have no one to meetAnd the ancient empty street's too dead for dreamingHey! Mr. Tambourine man, play a song for meI'm not sleepy and there is no place I'm going toHey! Mr. Tambourine man, play a song for meIn the jingle jangle morning I'll come following youTake me on a trip upon your magic swirling shipMy senses have been strippedMy hands can't feel to gripMy toes too numb to stepWait only for my boot heels to be wanderingI'm ready to go anywhere, I'm ready for to fadeInto my own paradeCast your dancing spell my way, I promise to go under itHey! Mr. Tambourine man, play a song for meI'm not sleepy and there is no place I'm going toHey! Mr. Tambourine man, play a song for meIn the jingle jangle morning I'll come following youThough you might hear laughing, spinning, swinging madly across the sunIt's not aimed at anyoneIt's just escaping on the runAnd but for the sky there are no fences facingAnd if you hear vague traces of skipping reels of rhymeTo your tambourine in timeIt's just a ragged clown behindI wouldn't pay it any mindIt's just a shadow you're seeing that he's chasingHey! Mr. Tambourine man, play a song for meI'm not sleepy and there is no place I'm going toHey! Mr. Tambourine man, play a song for meIn the jingle jangle morning I'll come following youAnd take me disappearing through the smoke rings of my mindDown the foggy ruins of timeFar past the frozen leavesThe haunted frightened treesOut to the windy beachFar from the twisted reach of crazy sorrowYes, to dance beneath the diamond skyWith one hand waving freeSilhouetted by the seaCircled by the circus sandsWith all memory and fateDriven deep beneath the wavesLet me forget about today until tomorrowHey! Mr. Tambourine man, play a song for meI'm not sleepy and there is no place I'm going toHey! Mr. Tambourine man, play a song for meIn the jingle jangle morning I'll come following you -

surely someone on this sight can find that thread. Best thread ever! For the love of God, someone please find that Combo-John From Hemet spearing contest thread!
-
I missed that one. Hopefully someone can find that link, The funniest thread I have ever read was Combo baiting JohnfromHemet into a spearing contest. Combo had John so worked up, John was ready to fly and do battle ? I have searched and searched, and cannot find that thread. Or any of Combo's other posts. That dude was a riot!

The best ever though was my 7th grade English teacher, who was very absented minded, and tormented. Some notes on blackboard were answers on test. I think everyone in class received a 100 ?
-
I was in a fraternity. Brothers would save tests, papers, notes- we had a good collection. Some professors didn't change questions much ?

I haven’t heard this song in decades, and it popped up on my iTunes shuffle. This song should of been huge, should be rereleased, and is just as relevant today

I hate this signing! Especially for 3 years! WTF Beane? These reeks of Andre Holmes and Benjamin. ***** I wanted to see what Sweeney could do. Lets overpay for a 31 year old 1 dimensional TE, and sign him to 3 years. I love Beanes drafts, and his UDFA signings. I don't like him signing KB, Vlad, etc

Trade Lawson and a 2020 draft pick for Clowney?

Shaq and a 2nd. Save that 1st for WR for Josh next draft -
Bills roster looking pretty stacked. This is the deepest Bills roster I can recall in decades. Sure we could use an Edge(IMO between Lorax, Harold, Trent, Shaq, Johnson we improve) and a #1 WR(Jones, Foster, Beasley, Smoky, Mckenzie are a marked improvement on last years WR group, and 5 legitimate NFL players). TE is much improved, and cuts there will be tough. RB is stacked. Oline is going to be a fierce competition. We will cut a couple quality OL. Ed Oliver is a special talent. He alone will transform our #2 D(not to mention, improved offense, field position, special teams, increased sacks and hurries- barring injuries-we will be a top D unit. Special teams will be much improved with Roberts, Senorise, Alexander, and Vosean. There is a lot to be excited about. Not to mention $30 million cap room going forward, a ridiculously deep WR draft next year, potential huge FAs- Von Miller, Clowney, etc. Everything is lining up. We will improve WR and DE. Beane and Overdorf are doing a great job this offseason! And Oliver and Ford were sold by our position coaches. So that tells me McDermott has fine tuned his staff. The future is bright Bills brothers and sisters!
