The original was brilliant and had a category- the few, the proud- that shows never jumped the shark. Police Squad was top of the list

so I was on pub crawl in Berlin and met a couple of American GIs. A couple days later I am in a huge underground club in East Berlin- and I randomly meet the GI's again. Two weeks later in Amsterdam I ate a bunch of Hawaiian mushrooms- and run into same GI's again at the Heineken museum! We go to the nearest pub- and the mushrooms were really kicking in. I was ordering Heinekens two at a time and drinking them within two minutes. I probably drank 12 beers in 40 minutes. The GI's were amazed, and informed me they were going to Van Gogh museum-(which is where I was heading). So we all went together, I am feeling great. We get to the upper floor of the van gogh exhibit- and these two were bouncing a superball around the paintings! I was laughing my ass off, trying to keep a distance from them. The dutch art employee screaming "sir, you cannot play ball in here". What a trip!

I belong to later and try and keep my coffees to under 4 cups(16oz) a day. And for that reason I do not own a coffee maker. I drink up iced green tea to supplement. I read one should drink 2 cups water for each cup coffee(I've been running deficits for decades)
