Rashan Gary is a player I believe the Bills are strongly considering at 9, if available.

We need to replace Kyle Williams. Not to mention, the defensive talent in this draft is legendary. Besides QBs, the top 10 might all be defensive lineman. That is two strong arguments to draft a DT early IMO

http://www.tankathon.com/nhl Let's tank these last 12 and never tank again. Right now we are 8th and have a 19% chance of top 3 pick. Hughes, Kakko, or Podkolzin would be great additions to our top 6. Maybe Oloffson, Asplund, or Nylander are top 6 next season. These are nice possibilities to ponder during our tank

Make a deal with us fish. 13 to 9-give us your 2nd and 3rd. Jump ahead of Denver and get your QB

I remember some TBDers banging drum for Blaine. Then again some banged drum for Joey Harrington.

A trade down is now off the table.

I really like the idea of trading down for a 1st round pick next year. Beanes MO is accumulating, and parlaying draft picks -

One scenario I like is to trade down to 20 , get compensated for such a large drop. At 20, some possibilities are Jeffery Simmons, TJ, Cordy Ford, DK, Paris, Clevin Ferrell, Andre Dillard, Christian Wilkins, Fant, Tillery, Gary, Greedy-surely one of them will still be available-and every one would start most likely. So lets say we pick up a 2nd and 3rd- that is 2 2nds, 2 3rds, 2 4ths, 2 5ths, 1 6th, and 2 7ths. That gives Beane much ammo to load up on top 100 picks. IMO we need OT, DE, DT, TE, G, RB, LB. We could end up with 4-5 new starters if we play it right. That would be a stacked roster 1 to 53. A good draft could send us on a Superbowl run the next several seasons! -
What about Justin Houston? It would be nice to sign a DE before draft- to give us more flexibility. Could Suh be a fit? Our D needs to stop the run and attack QB's.

Huh? No way. I would bet that unless one of the big five slide to us, we trade down. And Beane is not done making moves. He still has $40 million in cap room and will make some moves before draft -

Thoughts on the draft post free agency.......

For me DT in 1st, OT and TE 2/3, RB and LB 4/4. Those are the next 4 positions I would like to improve. I really like the idea of trading down from 9, and using our 5,5,6,7,7 to get as many top 100 players as possible. Like posters have pointed out, trading down from 9, we might have a shot at Jonah Williams, Cody Ford, Wilkins, Oliver, Metcalf, Hotch, Burns, Tillery. Trade down, take highest graded player, gain additional pick-improve upon TE, OT, RB, and LB with our 1, 2, 2, 3 picks -

Could we just sign Ziggy already and hold this press conference already? It's 53 outside and I need to get on with my day F5 -

Young Legs - RB David Montgomery - Iowa State

Darrell Henderson, Benny Snell, Mike Weber, Miles Sanders. Fanspeak is obviously not accurate, so take that with a grain of salt. Tight ends available Alize Mack, Jake Sternberger, Josh Oliver. WR- Demarcus Lodge, David Sills -

I have done a bunch of Fanspeak mock drafts-and there is always a bunch of great WR, TE, and RB in rounds 4 and 5. Those seem to me to be the 3 deepest positions -

RB is in play too IMO. It would be a great time to groom a RB, a partner in crime with Josh the next 5 years -

I also like the idea of trading into the 20's, and drafting Jeffery Simmons. If we sign Ziggy, Simmons, Star, Trent, Shaq, Jerry, Harrison, and Phillips would wear down opposing lines -

it is all very exciting. If we do stay at 9-currently we have Nsekhe replacing Mills, Harrison/Phillips to replace Kyle, and Kroft/Crooms to replace Clay. That leads me to believe the pick will be Oliver all things considered. And if we draft Oliver, and sign Ziggy, the Bills might have a championship caliber defense -
and WR is way down on priority list. Offensive line, defensive line, LB, and TE before WR
-
Beasley Brown Foster Zay Williams Roberts IMO we are drafting TE before WR
