  1. I like Jaylon too but there is no way he lasts until 4th round. I have been posting my ideal realistic draft scenerio is we draft Oliver, and trade up for Ferguson in late 1st.
  2. don't trade up Beaner. There are cap ramifications and opportunity costs. Look at the mistakes of trading up for Zay, Dawkins, and Edmunds
  3. What DT are we getting in 2nd round? Simmons and Tillery are going in 1st IMO. Ed Oliver has been in discussion for years about being #1 overall. I like DK. But the DT value is in 1st, WR, TE, RB post 1st
  4. If Bruce Willis ODed on Viagra, the headline could read "Bruce Willis died harder"
  5. Did you ever take a statistics class? Just because something costs more, does not mean it's better. The larger sample size, the larger the probability of hitting a draft pick
  6. jonah or sweat at 9 I would strongly dislike! We could be leaving Oliver, DK, White, Hock on board- all 4 could be perennial all pro's IMO
  7. If we are going BPA, we need to take Harry in the 2nd. I also like Rapp better than Risner
  8. I’d hold onto all our picks through 4 rounds. So far we have wasted prime draft picks trading up for Zay, Edmunds, Dawkins.. 79, 149, 156 for Dawkins- Kareem Hunt, George Kittle opportunity cost 22, 65 forEdmunds Calvin Ridley, Billy Price, Darius Leonard...Fred Warner, Sam Hubbard opportunity cost 44, 91 for Zay Dalvin Cook, nick Chubb, juju smith shuster, Alvin Kamara, Eddie Jackson, etc opportunity cost and no ***** that you have benefit of hindsight looking at past drafts. That’s not the point. The point is hold on to draft picks, you have a better shot at finding great players the larger sample size. My foresight is to hold on to picks, add more this year and next year if possible. Not to mention draft picks don’t wreck your salary cap. i urge you Mr Beane, hold on to draft picks. Look and learn from the bad trades we have made squandering picks
  9. that is. That poor young lady. That had to hurt like *****!
  10. The Bills trade back to Washington, gain second round pick, Ed Oliver slide to us. We land Jaylon Ferguson and Irv Smith in second round. Miles Sanders in 3rd, we trade up and take Dru Sumia, we draft Anthony Johnson, and then concentrate on depth and special teams with remaining picks. Ansah gets healthy, and signs 1 year prove it deal
  11. If we can stop the run, and if someone besides Hughes starts pressuring QBs- we will have a top defensive unit. Turnovers, field position, and big plays will be benefits of adding quality DT and Edge
  12. Dawkins will benefit of having 2 veterans to his right
  13. trading two 4s, two 5ths, 6, and 7 for a 3 is Mike Ditka dumb. Perhaps dumber
  14. DT with 1st pick and trading up a couple times in draft for BPA
  15. That sounds about right. Sirles and Teller have strong shots of making roster. We are keeping no more than 9 OL(8 most likely). Is Beane going to trade some lineman? Tis the season
  16. I think this is exactly how it's going to play out if Bosa, Williams, Gary, Oliver, Wilkins, Allen are taken before 9. Beane makes multiple trades down, and then up, ending with two first round pick They say if you have 2 good starters from a draft, it's a great draft. I am guessing Beane tries to parlay the 10 picks and perhaps players(WR,OL) into 3-4 starters.
  17. I would rather have two premium players. That's what happens when you trade down and hit on both picks
  18. BPA all the way! I have faith in Beane. If highest rated player at 40 is CB or S- go for it! I love Devin White- but we have Milano and Edwards already. And nickel/dime defense has become base defense for NFL. Can we improve upon Big Nickel? Absolutely. Wouldn't it be nice to have 5 quality CBs to match up with any formation thrown at us? The only glaring needs are DT and TE. With 10 picks, I am sure Mr Beane will improve upon both of those positions at some point. I am ok with whomever as long as they don't reach. Josh Jacobs, DK, Hotch, OT, etc- I am a ok with if they are in fact, the BPA
  19. If Ed Oliver is available, IMO the Bills run to podium. The draft is deep at TE, WR, RB. There is value there is rounds 2-5. Not so much with DL. Stenberger and Dawson Knox would be fine second and third round selections. Well thought out post showing how tempting Hock must be. I'm sure there is plenty of lively discussion Oliver vs Hock between cooridinators. I am ok with Hock in the first. But I am not sure Tillery or Simmons or other monster DTs make it past pick 20. My perfect draft scenerio for Buffalo is Ed Oliver and Jaylon Ferguson with first 2 picks. 3rd pick- Stenberger or Knox 4th Miles Sanders 4th DeMarcus Lodge/Anthony Johnson That way pass rush and offensive weapons are stocked, and both units improve dramatically
  20. I like Harry in the 2nd. As someone already noted, we have outside deep speed that defense have to respect with Brown and Foster.. Harry and a playmaking TE would really help open up this offense. They could work underneath with Beasley. So Beasley, Brown, Foster and Roberts seem to be sure things. We won't keep more than 6 WR. That leaves 2 roster spots open for Zay, Duke, and whomever we draft. So we won't draft 2 WR IMO, and a TE helps more than a WR. I like Harry's value in the second, and his playmaking ability trumps Zay. We will see what Duke brings. I have hopes that he steps up and takes a spot on roster. Zay, Duke, draft pick will be fascinating camp battle!
  21. Trade back, Christian wilkens would be my trade down target
