I can see why you were such a hit in France I will give you one tidbit about Lafayette. He exported soil from Washington's plot and Lafayette is buried in American soil in France. Lafayette is one of the coolest people in history
-
We owe France for our independence. Ever hear of Marquis de Lafayette? France is our oldest friend. Taking cheap shots at an old friend during a French tragedy is no way to treat an old friend
-
I have been to France several times, and I found French people to be gracious and kind. Sure they hate our President but they don't like theirs either. They like good Americans IMO. They don't care for idiot Americans, but either do I

?This one hurts. This is loss for all of humanity. I am so sorry France

I am thinking we trade a WR and/or OL and/or DE. That is whomever has trade value. It wouldn't shock me to see Beane trade Dawkins and draft an OT. And I am truly puzzled whom Buffalo selects early. They keep looking at CBs. I could see any of S, RB TE, WR, DE, DT, OT, G, CB selected with our first 3 picks
-
I am ok with a WR if we trade down from 9

Offensive weapons or finish the Defence?
Pete replied to Franchiseneedsme's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
DT 1st, add pass catchers, playmakers, rb, and edge later. We have 10 picks- so both units will be stronger after draft -
NO! ED OLIVER! (or trade down)

Teams have run at will against Buffalo the past 2 years and opposing QBS have been way too comfortable in the pocket. A WR does nothing to fix that. jones, brown, foster, Beasley, Roberts, duke is 6 WR already, we aren’t keeping 7, who are you cutting when you draft WR?

Sweet Spots for Trade up during Draft
Pete replied to BillsFan1988's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We will only keep 8. Dawkins, Nseke, McDermott Spain, Teller, Long, Feliciano, Morse,Sirles, Fisher, Long, Boeinnger That is 12 right there. It's a numbers game. Are you going to cut all those FA OL you just signed to decent contracts? Or are you going to cut Teller and Sirles after honing them for our system and culture for a year? They will be picked up within an hour on waiver wire. OL cuts will be very tough this year. If you keep adding more OL when we already have too many, the Bills then become the farm system of the NFL for OL. Teams can just sit back and wait for the Turk to arrive at One Bills Drive. I am all about improving OL, and think Beane has done great job. I myself prioritize TE and DL over OL, and there is much less depth there -
Sweet Spots for Trade up during Draft
Pete replied to BillsFan1988's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We have too much OL, WR, Edge-especially if we plan on drafting any. I am guessing Beane moves a player, and it would't surprise me to see him pull off a big trade for Frank Clark or someone like him. It's obvious Beane is trying to shore up pass rush across from Hughes. Maybe someone like Shaq or Zay gets packaged. I only see them trading up for Williams, Allen, and Oliver- and not overpaying. But me thinks Beane stays pat and hopes his DT is there at 9. If 7 DL go before pick 9- who knows what Beane does then? We are going BPA which can be any position outside QB. We have 10 picks to improve upon on a deep roster. In past years we have had good ideas who we were going to select, Rueben Brown for example. Well this year Beane is a complete mystery. All those picks can take this team in many directions(offense heavy, D heavy, BPA, etc). This draft will be the wildest, most exciting draft I can ever recall. And it might set our course to greatness -
I agree. Williams better not go to the Jets. Dexter Lawrence is growing on me. We do need a run stuffer. DL can collapse the pocket too. If we get the right trade offer, we probably can trade back and still get a top DT- DL, Tillery, Simmons or Wilkins. Williams is #1 on my Bills board. Josh Allen and Ed Oliver are my next 2 Eli Harold is a shrewd, Poyer-like signing. Eli might have mitigated the need for Edge

Bills official Top 30 pre-draft visits
Pete replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like that we have used 28 visits already. It is a great time to gather information on a player. Even if you don't draft them, you might acquire them down the road via FA, trade, waivers. If I recall correctly, some past Bills GMs did not use all of their allotted draft visits. And many team do not. It seems to me that Beane is organized and on top of everything. He is thrifty with FA signings, shrewd with UDFA, and had himself a very nice 1st draft: Josh Allen Tremaine Edmunds Harrison Phillips Taron Johnson Siran Neal Wyatt Teller Levi Wallace Robert Foster Ike Boettger That is a solid group going forward and potentially a home run if Josh continues to improve. This season will be a defining one for Beane. He is dialed in for this draft IMO -

Regarding Safety-perhaps they would like to improve Big Nickel - the hottest trend in NFL- and why a Safety day 2 selection makes more since than a LB. It has been said that you can't have too many CBs in NFL. I say now you can't have too many Safety's. It's a position that has evolved a lot the past decade http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000375711/article/big-nickel-package-emerging-as-nfls-hottest-defensive-trend -

Tony Pauline: 3 Horse Race for #9
Pete replied to N.Y. Orangeman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That make me pray that Oliver is the pick at 9. Offensive line doesn't make any sense IMO. Right now we have a big hole at 3 tech and two backups battling out for starting TE. Give me WR, TE, Edge, 3 tech, CB, LB, hell go RB at 9- but for the love of God- please no offensive line at 9 -
Fournette busted in Jax. INterested?
Pete replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Marone comes off as an arrogant #######. I don't like his methods, and would not want him as a coach. It seems like he clashes with some players. So I would factor that with any player that conflicted with Marone Fournette does seem like an idiot. Due diligence before signing, of course -
Fournette busted in Jax. INterested?
Pete replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Absolutely! Fournette, Shady, and Gore is a pretty tough backfield. Pair that with Foster and Smokys speed, and hopefully a solid TE- our offense could be legit! -
http://seahawksdraftblog.com/a-seahawks-bills-trade-proposal-involving-frank-clark it is interesting to hear some Seahawk message board suggestions for Clark-Bills trade. We aren't too far apart with cost

Bills have interest in Seattle DE Frank Clark
Pete replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
me too. Oliver and Clark would make our defense elite IMO. Then focus rest of draft on offense
