Horrible Year To Be Buyers at Trade Deadline
Pete replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Shakir is the only one who seems to be able to be available. Bills WR room is one of the worst in the NFL, if not the worst. It’s bottom 5 definitely -
The Ray Davis-backup running back discussion
Pete replied to TBBills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ray dropped 15 pounds, (not a good decision- Bills need a power back), yet still seems slower that last year. -
Justin Shorter over Puka Nakua

4.72 WR territory? In the 1960s maybe. AJ was a great basketball player too. He’s still not a WR

James Cook wins the Angry Runs scepter against the Panthers
Pete replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cook runs angry always. I’m amazed at his power. He emerges from large piles of defenders. He will have half the D on him, and he keeps churning his legs, steadily moving forward. Want a scary thought experiment? Imagine if how our offense looked if we didn’t have Cook? -

Buffalo Billy G playing Matchmaker? -
Not the same position. I think Kincaid of a receiving TE, not a complete TE like Knox. Kincaid is emerging, his blocking is improved. Jackson Hawes has played 194, Kincaid has played 189 snaps. That shows the importance of being a more complete TE. Malik Nabors, Jamar Chase, Jefferson, Nacua, Kincaid- One of these names doesn’t belong lol

Do you think Shavers would be worse than Coleman? Shavers blocks, can catch, has scored a long TD in the NFL. Coleman is so bad, I don’t see Shavers being worse
-
Its not hindsight, it was obvious to everyone but the Bills Front Office- Reddit 7 months ago Bills wide receiver room is not going to cut it Shakir, Coleman, Palmer and Samuel as your top 4 is simply not good enough. That might be bottom 5 in the league. I’m not sure how anyone could go into this season thinking we’re going to compete for a Super Bowl with that kind of talent. Change my mind. •7mo ago I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. This is the EXACT SAME THING everyone said about our WR room last year and the offense had the best season in Bills history. I think it's time we accept that Josh Allendoesn't need elite WRs to produce. 96 audi27tt •7mo ago Yes and leaving the TE/RBs out of the passing game conversation is missing the point of the scheme. That said I think we still need one more WR, just doesn't need to be a superstar. 15 [deleted] •7mo ago Couldn’t throw down field at all against KC. Hit Hollins what twice? They need a speed guy to stretch the secondary

Joe B (The Athletic) on passing game problems (with data)
Pete replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s a barometer on Bills Mafia’s opinion of Joe Brady. Terry Pegula knows the Bills play for Bills Mafia. McD is not happy about our one dimensional offense. I’m sure Terry isn’t happy with Bills passing game. So Brady can hide his head under the bed, but the pressure is mounting -
Big Ups 1-Cook- is he best RB in NFL- I say yes 2-D additions-Larry O, Hoecht, Max, Hancock-going to transform our weak D into an above average unit 3-Gilliam. Gilliam usages cranks up late in the season and in the playoffs- that’s how valuable he is, and it’s nice he’s getting recognition and respect now BIG, BIG Downs 1-BRADY- the superstar of big downs. What the ***** did you do to Josh Allen? ***** you for ***** up Josh! 2-Beane- your WGR outburst should have you embarrassed. You then did a pseudo victory tour on the sports shows declaring “we don’t need WRs, we’re great, we’re all set”. You should be embarrassed that you have neglected Josh with quality WRs. Do we have worse WR group in the NFL? That’s an indictment on you Beane- own it, correct it. Now! 3-Josh. I want Golden Retriever Josh back now! We love you Josh! Go Josh! Go Bills!

Is Joe Brady the major problem with the offense? 1. Is Joe Brady holding back the Bills offense? Yes 135 No 65 -

Pete replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Simple Math. Our 2 best WR not named Shakir left. We added Palmer. 5-2=3. 3+1=4. What happened with our #1 WR? Post draft we had only 4 viable WR. Moore was a late signing from the scrap heap. Beane signed Moore after he angrily decreed that Bills WR were great, they didn’t need any. Simple Math *SMH* right back at you buddy -

Beane says your last game will tell you what your biggest need is. A stud WR would have helped Bills beat the Chiefs the last two playoff meetings. Evidently Beane doesn’t follow his own beliefs James Cook would of been pretty smart on those drives too -

And how did it end? Josh getting clobbered and Dalton dropping the ball. Twice the defense made stops, giving the Bills offense two drives to beat the Chiefs. Bills passing game faltered, and was 0-2. 2023 same *****. D made a stop to give Bills offense to beat the Chiefs, and the Bills passing offense faltered. We lose to Chiefs again. Two years in a row, Bills died with their offense. Id like to see a much better Bills playoff passing game, more smooth, more clutch. Wouldn’t you? -

He hears us. The pressure is on him. He might insulate himself. But it’s everywhere. Talking heads on TV, Sports Radio, Cooler talks, etc. McD says “we need to have a good passing game”. “No more cute plays”. Complimentary football. I would love to have been a fly on the wall after Brady doubled down on his “cute” bull#### after being warned not to. Brady is hearing it internally and externally. I’m sure Terry is not liking what’s going on with our passing game. You don’t think Brady is under big pressure? -

Our passing game was broken against the Saints and Carolina too. Last year it was broke against Houston, Jets, Baltimore -

Pete replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Our running game is Super Bowl worthy. Our defense is refortified, Larry O, Hoecht, and Max are HUGE additions. I believe the defense is now good enough to win the Super Bowl. Our passing offense today is not Super Bowl worthy. Everyone has theories why it’s broken, but we agree it’s broken. How does an Offense with Josh, Cook, great OL, solid TEs, and a great slot receiver, how in the world is that passing offense broken? -
Hate to say this … but the Pats are effing good
Pete replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
It shows the importance of a good QB. They call 70s and 80s sports cards junk cards. 2000- 20017 was junk QBs. If you didn’t have Peyton or Brady you had no shot -
Horrible Year To Be Buyers at Trade Deadline
Pete replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Shaheed will do at the very least It was all a bluff in my opinion. Beane came in hot, put them on the defensive, took offense and tried to embarrass them about wanting Josh Rosen. I would of loved to see some push back from Jeremy -

Pre-active is always good policy
