If the board fell like that, I am almost positive Beane will trade down(Bosa, Allen, Williams, Oliver, Gary, Wilkins all gone). White will be very tempting. We do not need OL after FA, and with Foster, Beasley, Brown, Zay, and Andre-WR is fairly set, maybe add another later(great value at WR in rounds 3-5). If board fell like this, hopefully a team trades up for QB and overpays. I foresee a trade down, and drafting Jaylon Ferguson for pressure, and trading back up for a TE (and/or Simmons or Tillery)

I am sure Beane will walk away with some 2020 picks somehow

I've seen a rich man beg I've seen a good man sinI've seen a tough man cryI've seen a loser win and a sad man grinI heard an honest man lieI've seen the good side of bad and the downside of upAnd everything betweenI licked the silver spoon drank from the golden cupAnd smoked the finest greenI stroked the fattest dimes at least a couple of timesBefore I broke their heartYou know where it ends, yo, it usually depends on where you start

That means the Bills will be drafting TE,RB,WR, and D! Josh should get some shiny new toys. The D will get some new playmakers. If Beane hits on this draft, it's going to be a fun ride for us Bills fans the next few years

Will the Bills move up for Quinnen Williams?
Pete replied to Rebel101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Me and Kirby. And I was all in on Vander Esch. We also traded picks 75, 149 and 156 to move up 12 spots for Dawkins. Are Zay, Dawkins, and Tremaine worth picks 44, 61, 75, 149, and 156? Let's trade them all back for those picks. Do you think there are any takers? Why not? The point is, you don't trade up and waste high draft picks -

trading up for Tremaine Edmunds over Darius Leonard, costing us pick 65 Zay over JuJu costing us picks 44 and 91 do not trade up! -

thank you for translating. It's an interesting debate Gary vs Wilkins vs Oliver. One can make a strong argument for any of them to be drafted higher than the other two

5 picks in top 100- that's what I am talking about! Here is my picks 15- Andre Dillon T 40- Jeffrey Simmons DT 74-Miles Sanders RB 76-Jace Sternberger TE 96-Ben Banogu Edge

Wawrow's post has me thinking. The only players I see us trading up for are Williams and Oliver

bad scheme in college. #1 overall recruit out of HS. 4.58 at 285. Scheme versatile

Why the hate for Gary? I myself prefer Oliver, but Gary is a freak is his own right. He can shift between end or tackle. Gary and Lindstrom with our first 2 picks, after a trade down is a great start IMO. But we would receive much better compensation to trade down 6 spots

Noah Fant - trade down and draft a difference maker

it's bull####! The NFL drags out the draft like the Superbowl. -
Massachusetts now has sports betting. Last I seen- Vegas had the odds of Buffalo winning SB 100-1 and AFC 65-1. I am not sure what Mass offers. But I would like to get in on those odds before the draft. 6 wins over is a gift! We play Miami twice

Elite players can be found any round(Darius Leonard in the 2nd round last year for example) There is no guarantee a first round pick will be better than a second round pick. It's basic probability- more picks increase odds of drafting an elite player

Which Prospects Do You NOT Want The Bills To Draft?
Pete replied to BillyWhiteShows's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sweat. There is much better DL available, and top 15 is way too rich for me -
Don’t you think we can improve upon Vlad, McDermont, DiMarco, Murphy, Anderson, Ray-Ray, Peco, Thompson, Marlowe, etc? Younger, cheaper, more talented and versatile- that sounds great to me!
-
I am guessing 5-7(including UDFA). May the best man win. My plan would be to drop back from 9, get compensated generously. Than trade back up- stockpiling too 100 picks. The Colts had 4 second rounders last draft. That was a key factor in their resurgence

Bills official Top 30 pre-draft visits
Pete replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
One benefit of fortifying our already strong secondary is that Josh will hone his skills against possibly the best secondary in NFL. The training camp battles will make Josh and our WRs much better. It's all about competition, and improving whichever position that you can -

I am a little perplexed about selecting a CB so high. I understand BPA, and that you can't have too many CBs. But I put the Bills biggest issues to address-stopping the run, QB pressures, and protecting Josh. CB does little to remedy those issues. We are already deep at CB with Tre, Taron, KJ, EJ, Levi, Lewis, and Pitts. CB is not the problem with our D. We need DE, LB, DT before CB IMO. If we trade back and have extra picks, I am ok with selecting a CB if the value is there. But we are better utilizing our draft assets on many other positions IMO. I'm hoping for 3-4 starters from Beane's draft day maneuvers' -
I think Wilkins is our backup plan(possibly after trade down) if we miss out on Ed Oliver
-
He has Bills dna. Leader on Clemson team, and was unstoppable against Alabama. I like him a lot after a trade down. I prefer Oliver, but a beve of 2nd,3rd and future picks I would trade down. My mantra is stockpile 2nd and 3rd rounders!
-
If we traded back to Washington, I would trade back up to Cindy, sending a 3rd and select Ed Oliver(den is taking Lock). We would have two 2s, three 4s, two 5s, 6, two 7s
