I love the idea of trading back, and drafting DK. I would prefer we kept both those second rounders. The Colts had 4 2nd rounders last year- and it transformed their team. The Pats have 5 day 2 picks. As one scout noted, "the meat of this draft is rounds 2-4". That added 2nd rounder could be starting WR, TE, CB- and would basically be a free addition

opening books? A good blitz player is familiar with most opening lines. That's why some in Blitz chess try to play uber aggressive, non conventional openings that someone might not be familar with such as Danish Gambit(one of my favorites) or The Grob(statistically the worst opening move, but has great lines, and will confuse many opponent, especially during blitz game) -

I have a chess clock. You make your move, then hit the clock. Then time is deducted from opponents clock, until he moves, then he hits clock and time starts counting down off your clock, until you move and hit clock. 5 minutes time seems to me to be most common setting for the clock. But it can be 10, 20, 30, 60 minutes. But Blitz chess is usually 5 minutes or less. In other words, the game is over after checkmate, or someone's clock expires. Blitz chess is quite fun -

You win by either check mating, or your opponent's clock runs out of time -

https://play.chessbase.com the timer makes it possible for me- 1750 to beat a 2600 in 5 minutes. It's all about time pressure. Less time to calculate. That 2600 player would beat me in 20 moves if he had all day to calculate. But the timer makes it more of a level playing field, especially with a time crunch. I myself like to play 5 minutes or 3 minutes with 2 seconds a move- for example if you take 5 seconds to move- 3 seconds come of the clock. But a 1 second move adds 1 second -

What are your plans for watching the draft?
Pete replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am getting together with my Giants friend, it's been a tradition. Every year we bet a quality 6 pack per win- Bills wins vs Giants wins. I have been drinking delicious beer the past 4 years or so thanks to the Bills and my friends poor team choice -

cut to the 7:00 minute mark to get a lesson on how to finish a chess game -
Is it just me, or is it awful quiet league wide on draft eve? I haven't heard much on rumors, and there has yet to be a trade. There should be a ton of action the next 48 hours

If Cards don't select Kyler, that will reshuffle draft boards and cause chaos. If Kyler and Haskins go early, that could start a tulip mania QB run. What does Rosen even fetch? A 3rd rounder? Is his head right after all this? It's great to be on the other side of a team desperately trying to find their QB, and overpay in doing so. As much as it might suck to lose out on Oliver, it would be great if we traded back, and stock up on top 100 picks Rosen-Bengals Haskins-Skins Murray-Cards Lock-Broncos Jones-Raiders

It's almost here! Do us right Beane. Our Bills are on the cusp. A good draft will set us up for years

Select 2 players that will be drafted by Buffalo
Pete replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is what I think. Not my choices, just what I think the Bills will do. Chris Lindstrom and Miles Sanders I have sneaking feeling they will be Bills -
I never heard of Hinn until my brother was a chef at exclusive resort hotel, that was its own island. Rooms went for something like $500-$5000 a night. Hinn rented the whole hotel, and all hotel staff was given lots of instruction- don’t look him in eye, etc. my brother called me and said “ who the hell is benny Hinn?” What a scumbag Hinn is!!!!

LBs Devin White & Devin Bush both gone by 11 - McShay & Kiper.
Pete replied to PIZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That would be great if both Devin's went top 10. Kyler-Bosa-Williams-Allen-Oliver are locks for top 10- that's 7. There will be a player that either Buffalo covets, or another team does and makes a trade. The only good thing IMO about losing out on Oliver, I am hoping that Beane trades down, and gets some more top 100 picks. We could trade back 12 spots and still be able to draft one of these players- OT Jawaan, Jonah, Andre, Ford DL Wilkins, Gary, Burns, Sweat, WR DK TE Hotch, Fant CB Greedy, Byron RB Jacobs -
That worked for the nazis. The ###### roller coaster needs to learn how to work their brain

Alpha Mock V2.0 - Top Ten and Bills picks over 4 rounds
Pete replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Very solid draft. I like that we traded back, and then still drafted DK. Burns would be very interesting here. Christian Wilkins(to me he seems destined to be a Bill) and Burns would help take our D to next level. Irv Smith would transform our offense. And 4th round looks like sweet spot for RBs. The Bills met with Sanders, Henderson, and I think Singletary. We definitely need a new RB. -
That would be the ultimate curveball, and I believe it's possible. Who knows what the hell the Cards will do? And they have totally ***** with Rosen's head, and now there is a soft market for him. What is he going to fetch? I have read teams have rejected sending a 2nd rounder for him. Does Rosen go for 3rd round or later? At that price, the Bills should trade for him.. Have him back Josh the next 2-5 years, and then trade him for a 1st rounder down the line Rosen has skills and I dread the thought of him going to NE.
