Front Office Poll of WR Prospect Tiers (ESPN Insider)
Pete replied to DCOrange's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If board played out like this, I would trade out of 1st round(receiving bevy of top 100 picks of course), draft Ruggs and 2 other WRs(Aiyuk and Claypool?) Damn- Smoky, Beasley, Ruggs, Aiyuk, Claypool-our offense could be amazing! (and we still have 5-9 more picks, and $80 million in cap!) -
Front Office Poll of WR Prospect Tiers (ESPN Insider)

In 1985, the Bills used 2nd round pick(42) on WR Chris Burkett, and 4th round pick(86) on Andre Reed. Also a 5th on WR Jimmy Teal. I wouldn't mind spending a 2, 4, and 5 on WR -
Chaisson at 46 and Aiyuk at 149? Those are 2 of my favorite players for the Bills. I would be pumped if we drafted Chaisson at 22, and traded back into 1st for Aiyuk. Those rankings suck, and are more unrealisitic than those fansided mock draft rankings Jake Fromm will be drafted much, much higher(as will all the QBs). I think Fromm ends up in 1st. He had a great combine, has all the tools, there are many teams in need of starting QB, and we know how much teams like to overpay, with tulip mania, for their lottery ticket at franchise QB

This is the year to trade down and pick up multiple Day 2 picks
Pete replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would always trade down for extra picks- it increases odds of hitting on an elite talent, and is great for salary cap and comp picks down road. Right now we need- WR 1 WR 4 RB 1b Edge CB backup QB LB wecan keep our picks, and have 3 top 100 picks, including pick 22, and fill 3 of those needs, maybe. Or we can trade back, trade up, make multiple deals, and have 5-6 players in top 100. give me the later option every time, and especially this year, unless top 3 OL fall to us, Chaisson, or Jeudy and Lamb -
Would you trade for Fournette?
Pete replied to WideRightRevenge's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
for a 4th sure. I'd rather sign Henry, or draft one of top 3 RBs -
In looking at safety depth -- Karl Joseph is a FA
Pete replied to warrior9's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
nickel and dime defenses are en vogue in the NFL. 3 quality safetys would be on the field same time very frequently. I like Joseph, and feel Safety is a sneaky need. Marv always said you can't have too many CBs. Well you can't have too many quality safetys IMO -

sign Clowney then. No sense hoarding cap space if we can't roll it over if that's the case, let's extend and front load Tre'Davious and Dawkins -

LSU RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire formally meets with Bills
Pete replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
RB is one of our biggest needs. Singletary is great. Then what? Let's add more horses, some that can take it to the house any touch, or can run a wheel route. We need speed. We need hands. We need blitz pickup. We need play makers. I'm banging the drum. Sign Clowney(or other starting DE), if top OL and WR off board, no Chaisson, trade back for additional pick, draft Swift of Taylor with 1st, and WRs with our next 2 picks -

I guess you never worked a bbq pit. Steven Raichlen is a Chefs Chef Btw that reminded me -Primal Grill on PBS and every other Raichlen show are all excellent viewing. If I had cable now, I would record every Raichlen and Colameco show. Chefs Table and America’s Test Kitchen are great

Chase Claypool- I know you want to talk about him

All 6 will be long gone -
Mims is my case for trading down. If Jeudy, Lamb, oline, and Chaisson are off board, we can trade down, add a 2nd rounder(Mims). We still would have a 1st and 2nd to go let's say RB(Swift) and WR(Claypool). That's 3 added added play makers that elevate offense. We replace Gore with Swift. And we replace Foster and McKenzie with Mims and Claypool

Get me Clowney, Spend 3 of first 4 picks on 2 WR and RB. That's 4 added play makers, We still have tons of cap room, and 6 more draft picks for oline and defense -

Jim Kelly cost us the Giants Superbowl. Very poor clock management. Thurman was unstoppable. That was like Russel Wilson throwing from the one yard against the pats -
Get me Clowney. And draft 2 WR and 1 RB first 4 rounds.

BTW, Colameco is an animal- An avid sportsman, from 1985-1991, Colameco fought for the New York Athletic Club amateur boxing team and at various times, was the NYAC Middleweight and Light Heavyweight Boxing Champion. Prior to that, he was a paid sparring partner for boxers Chris Reid, Kevin Moley, and Donny LaLonde. In 1986, Colameco earned his Black Belt in Kyokushin Karate, and since then, he has completed five New York City Marathons. An avid open water ocean swimmer, in 2014 his New York Athletic Club 3-man relay team finished 2nd in the men's open division in the FKCC 12.5 mile relay, completing the course in 5 hours 26 minutes.[5]

Mike Colameco Real Food is great. He hosts another great show on PBS. Americas Test Kitchen is great too. The real cooking shows are on PBS, not Food Network

I was about to post same thing. This draft is so deep, especially at WR. If we could drop 5-10 spots, and pick up two top 100 picks, we could add 2 WR for free, and still have pick 32, and 8 more picks. That gives Beane plenty of ammo to trade up for players rated high on Bills board. Unless Lamb, Jeudy, Chaisson, or top 4 OL fall to 22, IMO the best move is to trade back

I haven't felt this good about the "state of the Bills" since...

1999. That was one of the best Bills defenses of all time. I am very optimistic for 2020 -

I would like to see the Bills prioritizing skill positions, adding 2-3 quality WR, 1 TE, 1 RB between draft and FA- along with edge, cb, online. This is the draft to add a trio of solid WR and get our offense up to 2020
