Your the ones who want to live in the past. I am not talking about then I am talking about now. Read the post above this one for a complete response I don't want to repeat myself.
We have guys with better resumes in the FO now all I am saying is give them a chance. We have made huge splashes in FA early over the last 10 years and where has that got us. these guys are taking a different approach and are being critisized for it. Either you want change or you don't. You guys and not all of you but some are asking for the same thing just from different people. I have been getting frustrated as well but I keep reminding myself of the splash we made when we signed Dockery and Walker and TO and just thiink of the guys WASH has snagged over the years. Big moves are not always good ones what do you think was said about the Welker trade that didn't have big splash on it but the rest is history.
Not in the 3-4 he can't your OLBs become you primary pass rushers. He can handle the zone coverage but a bonifide pass-rusher he is not. I suggest you google the topic or get a good book. He does have the size although on the short end but he has 12 sacks in a 7 year career. Good 3-4 OLBs get that in a season maybe a season and a half.
What about me I responded to one post that I thought was a little thin skinned. I have heard alot worse on this board I just don't think your report is going to get you anywhere if I offended you have my appology but look at it honestly.
I would not trade Lynch for less than a 3rd round value.
Whitner trade would be tempting if there 4th was not the equivalent of a 5th same as the Jets.
I would not trade our #9 overall.
Fitz deal is good.
I wish we could get either one of them. I would give Lynch and a 3rd for Jackson.
In conclusion your either completely screwing us or in the last deal being unrealistic.
Kirwin has us taking him at 9. I don't like this but if we don't take him there MIA will take him at 12. But it is not like there are not other options I just can't believe we will pass on an OT in round 1.
We are not looking for the SB next year we are trying to find affordable stop gaps they may actually work out. I imagine the same critisism was used when AZ brought in the washed up Kurt Warner.
Coles and Mason are available as well. I don't know if Mason would come here and he is the one I like the most and in my opinion the second best available UFA WR.
I hope he can break the other curse if we take him. Ask yourself a question. How many Heisman QBs have won a Super Bowl or been there for that matter? I personaly don't believe in stuff like that as long as the QB is never convinced of this it doesn't matter. But it is interesting and may be a factor.
That's why our cast-offs always go and at least contribute elsewhere right stop sniffing the coke and pay attention. Several of them are starters on playoff teams.
