i would hope no one would travel all the way to canton to boo the guy. but i wouldn't expect people to go nuts for him either. i wouln't mind hearing a few crickets chirp while he forgets what he was saying.
the problem is, your book only has 7 rules, and there is an infinite number of stupid things these a-hols can dream up to do. your handbook will be obsolete before it is off the presses.
i agree, and i don't understand why your point of view is so controversial. our hall of fame owner couldn't build a winning franchise playing fantasy football against a bunch of 6th grade boys, let alone the real thing.
hire a real gm and a real scouting department as opposed to "beancounter" brandon and tom "endless vacation" modrak. a winning coach might help too. other words, it ain't happenin any time soon.
couldn't agree more. after watching things deteriorate slowly since the days of polian, i'm convinced the only reason the team is here is because he (a)has yet to receive the right offer and/or (b) he wants to hand it over to his daughter to sell rather than do it himself. it's not because he feels some commitment to buffalo. he's known for years that keeping the team here is his only ticket into the hall....he's clueless about how to do it the right way- which is to say he is incapable of hiring and getting along with people who can win.
he is purposely smallballing us with his beancounter g.m. and his proven loser coach...fielding garbage year in and year out because he does not know hownot to....i couldn't give a sh-- he's going to the hall. i've lost all respect for the guy.
still no one seems to have any insights on ST play. for all the people on this board willing to give their left nut to get tasker into the halland hand the bills over to bobby april, i thought there would be some discussion on this...
hip hip hooray. he gambled $10k fifty years ago and the product took off. when he says he was very very lucky along the way he is 100% right...because the only success he's had is due to the few times he had the dumb luck to hire people that didn't suck at their jobs- other than bean counters, that is.
meanwhile he has always been a complete miser. he's given up on making the franchise competitive and i hate him for that. i don't think he belongs in the hall of fame one bit.
no one is talking about special teams...super bowls usually have a couple of big ST plays. who has the advantage here? i am not sure my self. talking about kick coverage and returns. if one team has an advantage that's where i'm putting my money. otherwise the line sounds about right to me.
