  1. i know he's a good player. that's why i get pissed at him for being so soft.
  2. i hope this is just a rumor. that fat !@#$er better show up in shape this year...nothing makes me sicker than an overpaid, overhyped, underachiever whose own teammates call him a pu$$y!
  3. yo BF, they help in almost every way. you still have to have a good enough eye to make contact, but if you do, the ball JUMPS off the bat. they also help you get around on pitches by increasing your batspeed. sorry, there is no denying this. not only that, but they speed RECOVERY, which prevents injury which keeps guys off the DL! don't you remember how much more time mcguire spent injured in the first half of his career? that said, you can't change records because at any given time you could have half a dozen players on the field who were juiced and how and the hell can you ever go back and say what "should have" happened?
  4. bless both your hearts cindy...i hope all ends well...be strong.
  5. it will be: lt- teague (lord help us) lg- anderson c- tucker rg- villarreal rt- williams bannan will be a backup. if the bills get shelton he will be the starting lt, but they don't seem to want him very bad. hopefully the bills will draft a left tackle, because i can't see us ever going anywhere with teague as a starter- at any position.
  6. you also don't know how many pitchers were/are juiced...who knows, maybe the record should be 80?
  7. now THAT'S who i want anchoring my 4 by 4!
  8. i think he can't do it because he was lousy at it in denver.
  9. my understanding was that they didn't test at all. which would explain the williams sisters...
  10. my friend and i got "arrested" by some overzealous campus police for stagediving when the ramones came to temple u. back in 1985. they didn't know what the hell was going on, so they just swooped in and cuffed everyone that did it...3 or 4 of us i guess it was..then they drove us across campus to their little police station and just let us go. much ado about nothing on their part.
  11. not to worry...martin truex kicked some mexican ass (8 of them, i believe) in winning the busch race in mexico city a few weeks back...and there were no reports of heckling. seriously though, since auto racing (the full-fendered variety, at least), like the nfl, is a much more "american" sport than soccer, i think the fans will behave. i think it will be a pretty sympathetic crowd to start with...not like a soccer crowd at all.
  12. interesting. while i did not enjoy her broadcasts, i would not wish her death either. but that's just me.
  13. we're not going to take a step back at NT?
  14. damn, if i could only reunite the jesters!
  15. reminds me of the threads about travis henry.
  16. a lot of state stores in pa used to have wine chillers that worked the same way. just dunk your bottle of chardonnay in it for 5 minutes or so and it was ready for that gourmet dinner you spent all day slaving over. or you could just twist the cap off and enjoy it right there!
  17. i could make a joke about the sound of a lone cricket chirping....but i like the guy...smartyjoneswinsthetriplecrown.com, indeed.
  18. i hear ya man, but people forget he basically inherited an expansion team because of butler's overspending. that's the reason i am not completely down on the guy.
  19. i wouldn't bet on it, but i agree that if anyone on the roster would do it, mike would. remember last year there was a post where one of the Wallers ran into a Bills player in a restaurant...and when asked about mike williams, the player laughed and said williams was a "p-u-s-s-y" ? i think about it every time that fat ass gets beat by a speed rush. anyway, yes, i hope bruschi gets better cause it's only football, you know...the guys got kids, etc...my wish (and it will never EVER happen) is that he would just come clean regarding what supplements/stimulants/drugs etc. he's been taking (yes, i am convinced he was doing something harmful, if not illegal, to his body) so he can help someone else avoid the same fate.
  20. i wonder this a lot myself...my guess is they are trying to tantalize these guys into signing for peanuts.
  21. maybe not when you compare it to rikcy's 1800, or whatever it was. but 1300 yards behind our offensive line is worth about 1800 on a normal team.
