i run. every other day now...4-10 miles. slowly. haven't raced in over a year becuase i had sports hernia (fixed by mcnabb's doc in philly) surgery last january, and torn meniscus in both knees doing rehab in march. freak accidents every time. result was 3 surgeries and my knees still kill me. i think i'm washed up. it's depressing, because i was still running personal records as recently as last summer (at 39), but i am dealing with it. some people have real problems. this is not one of them. my last race was a 2:46 marathon with a f@#$ing sports hernia. believe it or not, it wasn't much fun at all! oh...i guess it's not a team sport. ok...never mind. um, ok... i coach xc and track.

here here. i probably am crazy, but somehow i think the bills have a chance to win this game...or at least keep it close until they fall to pieces in the 4th quarter. but yeah, somebody knock this tool out of the game. please. by the way, i seriously doubt a dead deer's head is going to be in his repetoire...probaly more like a xmas sleighbell theme. at least i hope so.

well they apparently penalized him 3 points for being a dickhead and a rapist, but 62 is pretty amazing. not that i can stand the nba anymore...

that's just how people are in that part of the country...they're civil! the upper midwest is great like that. the more often i go out there the more i like it.

imo, nhl is the most underappreciated pro sport there is, but it's hard to convince people till they've seen game.

well, he's allowed to keep his seasons, if that's what you mean. but yeah, i also cringed when he called them "billies." oof . i still remember wandering through the RV lot at the bills/fish 96 playoff game (and what a game it was, being the bills last playoff win and also the game that retired shula ), and there was a guy in a bills pope costume conducting a bills mass. it was like a real catholic mass with kneeling and praying and the whole thing. friggin hilarious. i don't know if he's still around, but that's the guy who should be in the front row gettin all the tv time. cause the bills are religion to most of us anyway- might as well make it official!

i have no idea, since i don't do this stuff for a living, but mularkey and donohoe have proven beyond all doubt that they need to be replaced. and they will. i just hope old ralph can figure out who to turn to.

i love the sabres and i watch every game, but i think their house of cards is about to cave in...the defense sucks! their goal differential on the season is almost equal which means they are getting lucky. they have a lot of grit and poise and spunk and chemistry and all that other happy stuff, but i think they are kidding themselves if they think they are one of the best 4-5 teams in hockey, much less a legitimate challenger to ottowa. hopefully darcy gets his thumb out of his ass and makes a deal to help our defense before biron crashes back to earth.

i think a lot of people are missing the point. it is not that TD hasn't TRIED to shore up BOTH lines, it is that he is incapable of drafting/signing the CORRECT players to do so. that's is why i have to laugh at people who are rooting for the bills to lose so we can get a top-5 pick. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHERE WE PICK IF WE CAN'T PICK GOOD PLAYERS. as we all know, the best tackle in the '02 draft was taken 10th. also, new england seems to get production out of their draft picks even though they come from the end of each round. that is why donohoe has to go. no disrespect to the guy, i actually like him, but he can't make personnel decisions.

you make a valid point, but of all things that went wrong last night, this has to be near the bottom of the list. i've been critical of moulds, but he is OBVIOUSLY one of the few nfl-caliber players on the roster. and i can't bring myself to dump on one of the few guys on the team who actually showed up last night.

you're absolutely right. jp still gets the benefit of the doubt because of the garbage line and his own inexperience, but i am concerned about his accucracy as well. i just keep telling myself how bad eli looked alst year...

i'm with adam on this one. i want a new GM too, but some bills fans take it too far. and they ARE jerks about it. frankly, i give donohoe credit for saying so. i just wish i could give him credit for doing the stuff that matters, like assembling a roster and a coaching staff.
