  1. what are they saying abut jp?!?! anyone?
  2. i am not so concerned about this, as i believe we are fast approaching the day when the bills intentionally do not spend up to the cap...
  3. i agree with you. i think we're going to be picking higher than #8 next year. go sabres.
  4. yes, there's that. plus, why would the bills give him anything BUT a one year deal!?
  5. oh my...i am very sorry. hang tough and stay close to each other. i hope the comfort of family and friends gives you all the solace you deserve.
  6. i stand in support of the crazy dingo. even when he misses.
  7. i tend to agree with you. these guys have a gigantic effing mess on their hands. they're a little busy now.
  8. hey, he looked pretty good against our defense! haha...no seriously, i hope to god he never wears a bills uniform ever.
  9. actually after reading this thread i am relieved...i thought the original poster was trying to say he is a complete retard.
  10. i never watch it anymore either, but i win money almost every year by playing the favorites in about 58 or 60 of the games, and never picking an upset by a team seeded more than 1 or 2 spots below. you'd be shocked how well this works, because even though we know upsets happen in the tourney, very few people get them right.
  11. thaks for reminding me how much time i used to waste on that stupid game before i finally got sick of it! "....AN' ZE TROGDOR COME IN DE NIIIIIIIGHT!"
  12. guess i should have listed my #68 jersey on ebay when i had a chance...
  13. juventus...aren't they the ones whose fans caused that horrible brawl in england where a whole bunch of people got trampled to death? i remember there was italian guys in black and white scarves involved, and a whole bunch of people got beat up and killed. maybe it was the british guys that started it...(hmmm...seems plausible, that) sports illustrated did a huge story about it...it was like maybe 20 years ago.
  14. congrats to your buddy...maybe hopefully he can help mark campbell fulfill his potential (i think i am one of the only ones here who believes he actually has some).
  15. moorman was 100% badass it pitt. st. even though it was d-2 he was a multi-time ncaa hurdle champ and that is no joke. i'm sorry i missed out on this whole thread b/c i was at a track meet myself all day today, but i'm glad our boy at least proved he belonged.
  16. i don't even know why she has a job on tv, other than the fact that she looks like she may have played football in college.
  17. am i the only one who sees mike tirico as a huge upgrade over al michaels? i think the guy's gone a little stale, frankly, and i think tirico is very good. i don't watch PTR, but i would look forward to having tony k in the booth as well. as for theisman...well i guess you can't have everything.
  18. hopefully you bet them big like me...the steelers just paid for my trip north to see the sabres in april.
  19. a colleague quizzed me the following question this morning: was there ever a super bowl played with the goal posts in the front of the end zone? frankly i don't remember. my earliest super bowl memory (of actually watching the game, i mean) was the colts-cowboys game in 1971. i think the posts were in the back that year. but i also remember- and hopefully someone can verify this- that for a brief window of time, extending up to maybe 1971 or 72, teams had the OPTION of placing their goalposts in the front OR the back. my colleague says this is not true, that goal posts were moved to the back of all NFL endzones prior to the first super bowl. i am almost certain i remember watching the bills play the boston patriots when the posts were in the front. this could not have been before 1970, or MAYBE '69, because i was too young to understand or remember before that. but the first super bowl was in january of 67 so unless my memory is off i would have to be right. anyone remember the same as me on this??
  20. then why the lindros avatar??
  21. people around here hate cox, but i think he is pretty good on the radio.
  22. not may people know this, but hasselbeck is german for "bad interception" the steelers will kill them. navy, you have the right score but the teams reversed. write it down.
  23. finally, he's really gone. this is a great way to start the week.
  24. well, we all love the pill...but seriously, is he ready for this??? though i must say it would make me feel warm and fuzzy to have him on the staff.
  25. it's been a recurring theme throughout gray's tenure. goodbye and good luc jerry....i won't miss your smoke and mirrors phony-ass "#2 defenses" one bit.
