  2. i think he threw one bad pass.
  3. my new step daughter thinks pinto kenny is the coolest goddam thing she ever saw in her whole 7 years on this earth...so much so that we had a ceremonial happy new years ketchup/mustard hosing-down on the back porch at midnight. what a blast. the pictures are priceless. if i ever get us to western new york she'll be begging to go to the tailgates to drink juicey juice out of that damn bowling ball. my plan is working perfectly....BUFALO FAN FOR LIFE....mwu hu hu ha ha ha HAH AHAHA
  4. "the buckeyes WILL play in more national championship games under Jim Tressel..." how does that douchebag announcer know that?
  5. i don't feel bad for them at all. let them be bills/sabres fans for 35 years...then they can have my sympathy.
  6. i'd certainly take the 5.
  7. this game is so over it's astonishing.
  8. still waitin' for willis to show that on a consistent basis as well.
  9. he gets fired after one season. that's how vanessa rolls.
  10. i wrote him too...thanks.
  11. the current throwbacks would be awesome. the jets' look great.
  12. whatever. that is the most overrated statistic in the history of statistics. london, you are a great guy, there's no doubt about it. good luck london in your new job. i hope it's in the division...preferably miami.
  13. you are right...also you can throw atlanta in there....and also NEW ENGLAND.
  14. pennington is far from the jets' biggest problem. i have always thought he was a decent qb, and he had a good year coming off some very serious injury problems. he looks bad compared to brady, but he's better than most, and up until the bye week this season was head and shoulders above losman. since then i'd say they're about even.
  15. you know what? you're right...it's borderline gay the way some of us fuss and frump ver the uni's... BUT THEY STILL LOOK LIKE sh-- AND NEED TO BE CHANGED. nevertheless, i think it's humorous when you point out the metrosexualness of it all. i am so secure in my masculinity i encourage you to continue.
  16. not saying there's not a number worth paying for him, but we're never going anywhere with him as our mlb.
  17. ok...i've sobered up now and i take that back. i pick new orleans, because i had marques colston as a student in both middle school and high school. he is a great kid, the total antithesis of the sterotypical dickhead loudmouth pro wide receiver. i can't believe the season he's having...if only he was this dominant in high school! i used to go to every game and most weeks he was invisible out there...and that is no exagerration.
  18. i wouldn't be surprised if parcells unloaded TO this off-season...unless he himself quits.
  19. buffalo, because i couldn't give a flying !@#$ whether other teams are disappointed or not.
  20. i've been critical of fletcher pretty much since the day he showed up here, but even i have to give him credit for some of the beautiful INTs he made this year. and when he gets his hands on the ball, he is FAST. this leads to the occasional defensive touchdown, which is a good thing. but as far as this being a reason to keep him, it is fools gold. how many superbowl winning teams do you hearken back to and say, "yup, the so-and-sos really were a championship team because their middle linebacker made a few acrobatic interceptions and was really fast running them back...fumbles too." most superbowl teams (fletcher's rams being a notable exception) win because they punch you in the face when you try to run. not because the mlb got some picks that year. and it's not like fletcher is hawking a half-dozen balls every year for us. the issue of fletcher's tackles is not such a big deal to me either. his tackle number may be as high as spielman's, but it would be nice if a few of them were within 2 yards of the line, as 54s usally were. i know the bills' defensive tackles were much better then, but i am pretty sure that if spielman was on this team, he wouldn't be yielding dozens of "falling-forward-for 3-yards" type tackles...the way fletcher did this year and ALWAYS has. and you also have to admit that a huge reason fletcher is making all those tackles is because our tackles can barely get a paw on someone as they fly by. i also concede that he makes some nice plays moving laterally that other linebackers wouldn't make. but i don't think he's superhuman or irreplaceable in this regard. i do not advocate cutting him just because he doesn't look like the sam cowart of 1999, but i do think he can be replaced. you asked, how do the bills make up for this production? you hope mccargo is the real deal and you hopefully find one other better DT in 07. we are just so bad here it is embarrassing. this allows the bills to fill the MLB position with a bigger stronger player, who may not be as fast, but will keep us from being humiliated week in and week out by 8-minute drives. this would also allow the d-ends to tee off a little bit more, improving the pass rush and resulting in more interceptions by other players. simple eh?
  21. since the bills are apparently going to be moved before they ever make the playoffs again, the playoffs are about making money. for whatever reason, i find the games much easier to pick in the post-season. so my favorite team is whoever i am betting on. i sure as hell can't just pcik another team to root for to make it fun. it's against my nature
  22. no...if they win (which, of course, they won't), it means a lot in terms of pride and confidence going into next season. and as was said above...the quality of the players is never ever ever the same as the order they were drafted. some teams (pats, for example) continue to win every year because they know how to draft, other teams (cards, lions) suck every year because they don't. do you really think draft order makes any difference at all if you know what they hell you're doing? (for the record, i think marv does.) you make it sound like first round picks make or break your draft.
  23. his problem is that he is not mcnair...who is actually sucking it up worse. but mcnair has a "name."
  24. yes. and i just want you to know i am not this miserable in my real life .... go bills!
  25. i am sitting here 75 miles from baltimore and the wind is hardly blowing...it looks like they are getting a little precip down there though. up here in pa we are not.
