  1. yes, and next week people will be on here calling for dungy's head.
  2. honestly, i don't think marty is totally to blame here. there were some amazing blunders by the charger WRs today. who was the guy who was wide open standing still 30 yards down field and just let the ball bounce right off his tummy to the turf? that was one of the worst drops i've ever seen in 35 years of watching pro football. honestly, the first thing i thought of when i saw that was that the guy was trying to throw the game. rivers was beside himself and he should have been.
  3. it's called being pushed to the limit by an outstanding team who threw everything they had at him and were in his face all day...and he STILL came through with the game on the line. imo, anyone who doesn't at least mention brady when talking about the the best QBs ever is incapable of objectivity. ...which, as a bills fan, i do sort of respect. but still...
  4. absolutely. that was the easiest pick of the weekend for me.
  5. oh please....rivers flopped on the ground like a little B word!! i knew there was a reason i didn't like that guy. he's a B word! if the chargers would have stuck with brees they'd still be playing. he's worse than ovechkin collapsing like he got shot after briere TAPPED his nads with his stick.
  6. don't worry...at some point brady and/or belichek will die....then maybe someone else will get a chance.
  7. just bet on them..it takes the pain away...trust me.
  8. do you realy think the patriots give a sh-- about going into indy next week? i heard jerry sullivan call manning a choker the other day and i agree with him. next week he's going to prove it again. hate them or not, the pats will be inthe superbowl again.
  9. do you really think that's going to happen?
  10. $cha-ching!$
  11. at some point you have to give the patriots credit for their testicular fortitude. i agree the chargers completely opened the door for them to steal this game, but chee-sus...
  12. what a drive by new england. it makes me sick to pull for them but business is business.
  13. WOW, YOU'RE KIDDING? I REALLY ENJOYED THE SHOW. THAT STEVEN A. SMITH SURE KNOWS HOW TO ASK THE TOUGH QUESTIONS. AND HE REALLY KNOWS HOW TO DRIVE HOME A POINT BY SQUINTING AND YELLING INTO THE CAMERA EVERY TIME HE OPENS HIS MOUTH. HE'S REALLY THE CONSUMMATE ENTERTAINER. OH WELL, HE'S A HELL OF A TALENT AND I AM SURE HE'LL LAND ON HIS FEET.
  14. i think that's a stretch.
  15. i thought all those online sites were effectively shut down?
  16. in a way, i hope they get to the super bowl so the saints can knock them of with brees doing the dirty work. that would be sweet. i think brees got the shaft out there.
  17. i say pats win with LT OVER 60.
  18. i have found that making accurate prediction$ on the playoff games removes the sting of having our most hated rivals playing for the lombardi trophy every season. last year, i rode the steelers all the way and made enough to take my girlfriend on a nice little weekend getaway in montreal. and there aren't may teams i hate worse. if i have to ride the pats to get back there this year, i will!
  19. when i watch shaun alexander, i am reminded about how good willis COULD be, with a better line and a better work ethic. top 5 back? maybe. top 10...definitely. but i think at this point he's shown his true character. so like i said, we take our big year next season, shore up some of our other holes this off-season, and worry about replacing willis in 2008. at that point, we will presumable have a better line in place.
  20. OOPS!!! fumble!! this one is easy money.
  21. $cha-ching!$ hoo-ray for points.
  22. at this point the 1st quarter is half over, and even though the game has been played in new england's end of the field so far, i just think the chargers look nervous. rivers does not look poised...he just underthrew a sure td...the receivers are dropping balls. i say the pats withstand the early emotion and win this game.
  23. i'm not a big willis fan either, but i think it's obvious that unless someone offers up a top-50 pick for him, we keep him next year. i'm sure he'll rush for 1500 yards in his contract year, and we'll finally get some reasonable production out of him before we let him walk. then he can take his big contract from washington or miami or whomever, and go back to sleep for couple seasons.
