  1. Actually it's the City and "up there". He scored a 3, worse than Claiborne.
  2. I think it says "upper northeast", which I didn't know was a thing.
  3. I honestly had to Google the guy.
  4. Good one
  5. Is there some reason that this is not an option? Are they worried about hurting Glenn's feelings? I guess we don't know.
  6. It is amazing that some people don't recognize this.
  7. I hate Thursday night games.
  8. Who the hell are all the new guys?
  9. Like a "3" would be a sure thing for you.
  10. At a position where rookies can produce, Williams was unimpressive.
  11. Fine, but the discussion has been about tanking and loading up on draft picks. If this strategy works then why based on that 1987 trade did the Colts and the Rams not become successful during the decade following that trade?
  12. So over the next decade which of those teams became a dynasty of sorts? It was not the two that received multiple draft picks.
  13. I can't think of one example of an NFL team has made multiple trades of players for draft choices. I can think of a few single trades.like Herschel Walker, but did Dallas make any other significant trades that year?
  14. I don't get why people don't understand this, you are absolutely right.
  15. Having waited on him as a bartender I found him to be a condescending stiff. Montana
  16. It happened at Peartrees on 49th St and 1st Ave. Peartrees was a watering hole for athletes, sports writers and personalities, among other assorted characters. I had worked there, but was no longer. The bartender, John "Shirts" Hughes, a friend of mine was notorious in the sports community. It was Sunday night after the games and after their show. I wasn't paying close attention but a heated discussion turned to shoving, which resulted in a punch. It ended quickly. Musberger left immediately, followed shortly thereafter by Jimmy "the Greek".
  17. I was a few barstools away when Jimmy "the Greek" Snyder punched Musberger.
  18. That's what I think also, Lamonica came off the bench and won some exciting games, but Kemp was still the man. However, Lamonica never should have been traded. If he stayed in Buffalo he'd be on this list.
  19. I think Plunkett was traded to the 49ers.
  20. I thought he meant SB team that had the most castoffs, I immediately thought of the 1980 Oakland Raiders.
  21. Seems that it tightened up after Rex was gone.
  22. What ever it is, it is far less than the Pegulas.
  23. He's the guy that played with Marty Lyons, who famously gave Jim Kelly "the business ".
