  1. Do you know the derivation of "23-sldoo? It comes from when the Flatiron was built on 23rd st. The shape of the building caused the wind to blow women's skirts up, hence the term 23-skido.
  2. I like Watson, don't think he'll be there. If he is not sure you can pass on. As to the Bills developing QBs, in their history I can think of three, Lamonica (worst trade ever), Ferguson and Kelly (can't count the Gamblers pop gun offense), so that's three. Take any other team use the same time period and name the QBs they developed, can't count veterans that were traded for.hard to come with any team that has more than three.
  3. It is a little known fact that 78% of all statistics are made up.
  4. My father had season tickets from the start. He and my brother went to first game at the Old Rockpile. Don't think I really became a fan until 1963. I remember going to an after game buffet at the Lord Amherst. It was invitation only and attended by players. I had a white football ball (old AFL) got a lot of autographs from now legendary Bills. Played with it so much I wore off the autographs. One of mr brother's friends was Pat McGroder Jr. They went to St. Joe's together. McGroder Sr. had a Lincoln with Bills logo on the door. The Bills have always been such a small town team. When someone says it is more like a college team than NFL it isn't just lip service, it is true. It is part of the charm. Can't wait until next year, go Bills.
  5. Romo will be 37 when next season starts and I'm terrified of trading for Jimmy G. How have trades for Brady backups worked out?
  6. Maybe, but if he is that highly thought of why not keep him? Is Kubiak the GM now? Is Taylor Kelly's type? Cleveland is going to draft a QG and they have RGIII, so again place holder, Houston, Chicago, Jets maybe. But are any of those options better than a sweetened deal like he played under this year to stay?
  7. Okay, give this roster to Pete Carroll, do they win 11? Is he a a GOAT?
  8. Seriously where would Taylor go that is a better situation than staying in Buffalo on another one year deal with an option again? Cleveland? One of their two top ten picks has to be a QB. Is Taylor going to go there to be a place holder? San Francisco? Chip Kelly, enough said. Denver? Houston? Where?
  9. Which teams? Anywhere he goes he's going to have to compete for the job and that includes Cleveland.
  10. I think if you gave this roster to Belichick he wins 12. He doesn't lose at home to the Jets, doesn't lose twice to the Dolphins, doesn't mismanage Seattle game away and doesn't blow a two score third quarter lead in Oakland.
  11. I agree with all of that. So for the sake of continuity should Lynn be made HC, Kromer OC and bring in Gus Bradley as DC?
  12. For what this team was supposed to be if they score 24 they should win.
  13. I don't think there is anything Rex could do to save his job. Saturday was a complete flame out for him. Three critical plays with ten men on the field, not getting the time out called and the punt are just incredible.
  14. He is 71, his life expectancy is considerably less than a 40 year old, and I'm dumb?
  15. Please no, hire someone that can be the coach for a long time.
  16. James Franklin, before Penn State was at Vanderbilt. I don't think he is ready for the NFL.
  17. Actually "The Star Spangled Banner" is a difficult song to sing. The lyrics were originally written as a poem, the music was from a popular British song, so not composed for the lyrics. I liked how she sang it, gospeled it up.
