I agree with your assessment. The most telling moment of the problem with BN is when Tim Graham (I think), asked what what exactly Whaley's job was, incredibly obnoxious. Graham then tried to back away from the statement. This whole thing is like whe someone is trying to get gossip from someone that won't give it. So they then make up gossip about that person.

Funny I did exactly the same thing. My point is we don't work at OBD, they could very well have a policy that they don't discuss firing the HC during the season. The only ones that could break that policy are Kim and Terry.

How could you or anyone that was not present know that Whaley and Pegula talked about Rex's job security? Whaley stated more than once that they discuss that after the season. Was he lying? I try to make it a policy to not call someone a liar unless I sure they are. They may have discussed poor execution, poor discipline, poor clock management and on and on, without specially discussing firing Rex.

With all due respect you have that wrong. I just listened to the full PC. What Whaley said was that he, Rex and Terry were on their post game conference call, Rex asked to speak to Terry alone. After that meeting between Rex and Terry, Whaley was informed that Rex was no longer the coach. We can speculate as to what transpired, but it seems pretty obvious. Terry Pegula saw what we saw on the field, the difference is it's his team and his money. Whaley didn't need to ask why, he knew as well as we all did.

I don't get why you are defending Scott? All you had to do is watch the games to know that the defense was confused, particularly after AW was gone. By definition that makes it too complicated not too mention archaic. Ryan was incapable of making adjustments because he and his brother both still believe they are defensive geniuses. I completely agree. This site has been more head scratching than usual over the last few days. The Rex hire is firmly on the Pegulas along with Brandon. The proof is in the video of the post hiring press conference. Pegulas had a shiny new toy and were impressed by a big talker. Brandon, always the marketing dude saw ticket sales. Seems only Whaley was concerned with actual football. Pegula actually says football questions were putting him to sleep. Then there is the press conference. If im Anthony Lynn I don't want anyone from the FO there. It's the HC press conference. As far as players are concerned I'm not judging any of them based on having played for an incompetent HC.

Rex's defense sucked for the last five years with two different teams. So what is Scott's point? Or is he just another Rex Ryan apologist? I believe it is the latter.
