  1. Exactly, I never understood all the uproar over that press conference. Wasn't it obvious why Ryan got fired?
  2. I agree, that being said I'm still intrigued by Howard. He seems to be kind of a hybrid TE WR.
  3. I'm a little afraid of those two guys. Can't say I paid that much attention to them.
  4. I think there will be two or three DBs off the board before 10. Are there any LBs worth taking at 10? Im starting to warm up to the idea of Howard.
  5. I remember going to the Old Rock Pile with my father, he had season tickets. He once paid two kids to park in a driveway. Turns out it wasn't their driveway. After the game a very angry woman greeted us. Makes me laugh every time I think of it.
  6. This just in, Vic liked Ralph better than Terry, because he listened to his four year old daughter dressed as a cow girl. More evidence of the disfuction at One Bills Drive.
  7. I ran into Ralph in a hotel lobby in Palm Beach twenty years ago. I told him I was a Bills fan, he stopped and talked about the team for about ten minutes. He didn't have to do that. His face lit up talking about the Bills.
  8. My prediction is that this will be a disaster on multiple fronts. The Raiders will become just another Vegas show. No loyal fan base. That City will be a huge distraction for young players. Remember the NBA All Star game? I predict an eventual move back again.
  9. Can we just change the site to "Ten Mahomes Drive"?
  10. Except every year a couple of teams fire their GM at the end of the season. Is it your contention that it's ok to fire the guy in January but no later?
  11. I'm still confused, if the new HC and ownership has decided to move on from Whaley wouldn't that by definition mean they have lost confidence in his judgment? Why then would they want him involved in decisions on who to draft?
  12. I'm confused by this whole thing. If Whaley was going to be fired why wait? Fire him at the same time as Rex. Whaley has to have some idea of where he stands with the Pegulas. They don't strike me as the kind of people that would keep him around to torture him. If Whaley even suspected he was going to be out he would already be gone.
  13. What is the criteria for FBI involvement? Why was this not a Houston PD investigation?
  14. Yes to all that plus Polian getting himself fired, Butler putting the franchise in cap hell. From there it just spiraled out of control.
  15. I tried to be hopeful about Ryan, the minute he was announced as the Bills coach my brother called him a blow hard, he was right. Ryan's defense was bad. People keep pointing out the players that were let to walk or cut, Gilmore is the only one that I think you can make an argument for, but he didn't have a great year. Some of it can be blamed on Ryan's "genius", but it is hard to blame poor tackling on that. What about Lawson and Ragland? Yeah Lawson looked lost, but so did some veterans. Can we give these guys the benefit of the doubt? My gut tells me the defense will be better. Did everyone forget that Ryan fired the OC after two games? By the way the offense didn't lose the Jet game, the defense did. Ryan should have fired himself. Taylor's inability to throw a slant is infuriating, but last season's WR situation was bad. Watkins injured and after him the only legitimate guy was Woods, who is a nice third, but certainly not a first or second. They need to find a legitimate second, if they do the guys they have signed have to be better than last year's street FAs. My gut tells me the offense will be better. As for special teams I think a new long snapper will make all the difference, just kidding. New kicker with same problem as the old one, same punter and same coach. At least there isn't a need for kickoff specialist. I have no gut on this squad.
  16. Other than Watkins, who was hurt, the WR position was not good. Woods is a number 3 receiver and the rest were just bodies. I have no problem with blowing this position up.
  17. Even though he was drafted in1995 I think you have to count Todd Collins he was the heir apparent. Then there were trades and free agent signings. I wonder what the success rate of each method is.
  18. You do understand that Taylor was never a FA, thus no other teams could talk to him. And how do you know that no trade discussion took place?
  19. Actually it's the City and "up there". He scored a 3, worse than Claiborne.
  20. I think it says "upper northeast", which I didn't know was a thing.
  21. I honestly had to Google the guy.
