  1. Could be the end of Edelman in NE, he will be 32 when next season starts. I was confused, obviously.
  2. Scott, it is not about talent it's about team, pay attention. Because it adds up to 6, which is a half dozen, which is how many donuts I want.
  3. I really don't understand why more of you aren't on board with drafting a QB and then trading him for more picks. I believe that by the 2035 draft the Bills could have all 224 picks.
  4. Stadium is part of the World Congress Center, Atlanta's convention center, so there are a lot of events.
  5. Just saw a segment on Mercedes-Benz Stadium, looks pretty cool. Cheaper parking, less expensive food and drink. Reinforces my belief that these new stadiums are all about getting people out of the parking lot and into the building. https://www.cnbc.com/video/2017/08/25/changing-the-stadium-experience-for-fans.html
  6. Well if anyone knows anything about Ealy it's McDermott, but why not wait and get him for nothing?
  7. I agree that "tank" should be out of the conversation, but what are you going to get for Kyle or Taylor at this point? Maybe they could get something for McCoy, but why not wait? If the Bills are 0-5 and a team that is in contention and desperate for a RB, then trade him.
  8. I asked that question in this thread and another. The only two attempts at an answer are the Colts "suck for Luck" and Cowboys Walker trade. I contend neither were planned tanks.
  9. Todd Blackledge, Tony Eason and Ken O'Brien round out the field.
  10. So we should look forward to a playoff appearance in four years. I can't wait.
  11. Didn't the Lions go 0-16 one year? Look at all those playoff and Super Bowl wins since!
  12. I'm so sick of writing this, no team in the NFL has ever planned and executed a tank.
  13. You're not paying attention their is no need for talent when you have a team.
  14. I didn't say the Bills didn't need a QB and the question is valid. The reason you can't answer it is because no franchise in the history of the NFL has employed the strategy you continue to rant about. The Colts didn't actively plan to tank for unless you believe they planned Payton's injury. Aikman and Irvin were already on the Cowboy's roster and they were 0-5 when they traded Walker. Furthermore why trade Taylor or McCoy now? Why not wait until a team that has an injury, that believes they are a contender is desperate.
  15. You keep pounding away at this. In three different threads I've asked the question when has tanking, in the NFL, as a planned thought out strategy prior to the season beginning ever been executed, resulting in the creation of a dynasty? The two examples are the Colts and Cowboys, both have been debunked. So know I ask give is an example?
  16. I got a text from my nephew today, he lives in an Atlanta suburb. His son was in gym class when the teacher asked another student if he had low self esteem, the student replied "no, why?" the teacher said "because you're wearing a Bills tee shirt".
  17. In two other threads I've asked for an example of a calculated complete tank that worked. Two examples have been given, the Colts suck for Luck, which as I stated earlier doesn't happen without the injury to Payton. The only other moves they made were to cut some aging over paid players. The other example is the Cowboys trading Herschel Walker. Aikman and Irvin were already on the roster, they didn't trade them. They also knew they had already forfeited their first round pick by taking Steve Walsh in supplemental draft. By the time they made the trade they had already lost five in a row. I don't believe either of these are planned tanks.
  18. I did look it up, what's documented is that they didn't trade Michael Irvin.
