  1. Josh Allen is better than both those guys.
  2. I think they also looked at Edwards as a place holder until Bishop got up to speed. That hasn’t happened yet.
  3. Isn’t Milano coming back at some point? Maybe sooner than later.
  4. I think Samuels was targeted once yesterday, he was not where Josh threw the ball, not on the same page.
  5. The wrist is the opposite of the elbow. The elbow is an extraordinary joint. I’ve been bending mine for years.
  6. Jim Plunkett, may be the greatest resurrection ever! Oh wait, second best. Remember when Geno threw three interceptions in a row to the Bills? Good times, good times.
  7. And at the nd of the game Taylor played QB.
  8. Doesn’t appear that weather is going to be an issue. I am patiently waiting for Sunday night. Went to a French bakery this morning, got some croissants, a baguette and a ham sandwich. Ham, cornichons and butter on a baguette, I’m a big fan of butter on sandwiches. Watching Jets, Broncos is pretty painful. Are their defenses really good, or are their offenses just bad? Rogers looks pretty pedestrian to me. He looked good Monday night, but he has bounced a lot of balls today. He has also taken some hits. Four hours to go.
  9. Admittedly I’ve only watched highlights, he looks good. I think the problem with anointing rookie quarterbacks is the same as rookie pitchers. Many come back to earth, some even crash, after their tendencies are learned. Mac Jones is a prime example.
  10. I think that was rust, not playing in preseason resulted in him not playing at game speed.
  11. I wore my lucky Bills blue underwear.
  12. I’m about to turn 72 and I am horizontal, because I’m laying on a beach towel, staring into space waiting for the Bills game to start tonight.
  13. I remember being at a Bills, Dolphins game at the Old Rock Pile, Morris got into an argument with a teammate on the sideline and punched him.
  14. That’s true, but are they large enough to come up with that kind of money. It’s not just the $850mm that NY and Erie County get, they would have to pay for a portion of a new stadium. I don’t believe international expansion is ever going to happen, I knew the commissioner of the long gone North American Soccer League, he told me it takes three generations of kids playing a sport before a league will be viable. A lot of parents won’t let their children play football here and suddenly European parents are going to? As to estate taxes that is true if the owners only asset is the franchise (Mike Brown or Mark Davis). The Pegulas have plenty of money to pay the taxes and they are also looking into selling 25% of the franchise for that purpose. Not to mention that both Terry and Kim would have to be deceased for taxes to be due. Kim may be incapacitated, but she is only 55 years old. This thread is about which team is likely to relocate next, there are more likely candidates than the Bills.
  15. The problem is, what cities are left? If you Google cities by population in the top 20 every city either has an NFL team or a major college program, except for San Antonio. I just don’t see the Cowboys or Texans wanting a franchise there. As for the college teams, the NFL made a mistake with Jacksonville, it is Gator country, they have trouble filling that stadium. It’s why they are willing to play multiple games abroad.
  16. The reason franchises move is incentives given by a city and or state. Most rich people are rich because they are not stupid. Las Vegas and Nevada gave the Raiders $750mm to move there. Name a large market city that doesn’t already have an NFL franchise that would be willing to do this.
  17. If the Bills leave in the first 14 years they would have to repay all public funding, $600mm to NY State and $250mm to Erie County. What municipality or state is going to absorb that, plus having to build a new stadium, to get an NFL Franchise?
  18. I can see Chiefs moving to Kansas, kind of like what happened with Giants and Jets. Not sure St. Louis will ever have a team again. Lost two teams, even though these moves were due to ownership being determined to move. I don’t see the Joneses allowing another team anywhere remotely near them. Chargers probably not going anywhere. I don’t have any idea about the Panthers.
  19. Bills signed a thirty year lease.
  20. I think they should have to wear a full uniform, like baseball.
  21. When he was first on camera Thursday night I commented on his attire. I live in south Florida and it was hot. People working outside will wear long sleeves and even hoodies, but that is for sun protection. Since the game was at night and even if it was a day game, home team side of the field is shaded, so sun protection wasn’t the reason. I think it is a fashion statement. It not like we haven’t seen coaches wear weird outfits before. Belichick wearing hoodies with cut off sleeves comes to mind. Do you think he couldn’t tell whom ever to make him short sleeved hoodies?
  22. Dolphins favored by 2.5, usually get 3 for just being home.
