  1. While watching the game on Sunday with my brother and nephew, I said I’d bring them both back if they still want to play.
  2. I think your second sentence is exactly why they will build downtown. All of these new stadiums are designed to get you in the building. There is zero revenue in tailgating. What Atlanta did was smart, make food and drink cheap, a small profit is better than none.
  3. I hope this guy is the answer, we shall see. The CB position was as mishandled as QB.
  4. ESPN saying Bills to sign Derek Anderson tomorrow. https://apple.news/AkP2FaRy3SL64pzyTNaflEA
  5. I’m not superstitious about with whom I watch the game, but I am about what I’m wearing.
  6. Yes, all ties should be eliminated! The announcers look silly wearing them and they are uncomfortable.
  7. When I saw the title of this thread I knew it was going to be worth it. Nice job everyone.
  8. Then why did I recognize the mistake immediately? I don’t think I am any more knowledgeable than anyone else on this site. My point was that at least two people paid to report sports news made a mistake. Big deal? No, unless your Ryan Lewis. It has been my experience that people like to be recognized for a job well done, Lewis deserves the recognition. Lewis’s performance and how he became the starting corner opposite White, for this game is a story. Again at least two people paid to report missed that. In my opinion I think it’s lazy reporting.
  9. I agree that people make mistakes. In this case two people made a mistake, Vic and his editor and not really a big deal unless you’re Ryan Lewis.
  10. So Vic had someone else write it and the put his name on it? If you had bothered to read the article in this particular section he is describing how the defense has awakened in the last six quarters. Phillip Gaines has not played in the last six quarters. What could that possibly have to do with my competency?
  11. “Tre’Davious White is steadily establishing himself as one of the NFL’s better lock-down corners. Phillip Gaines more than held his own on the other side, and Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer are back to the form that made them one of the league’s better safety combinations in 2017.” Correct me if I’m wrong, but Phillip Gaines hasn’t played since being injured in first game. Wasn’t it Ryan Lewis that “more than held his own”? So Vic wrote this incorrectly and editor missed it. I don’t think there is one person on this site that would have made this mistake. It’s not really a big deal, just sloppy and lazy.
  12. As I stated in another thread, I went all in on Newhouse.
  13. What would indicate that these guys have a clue? If the plan was to draft QB of the future why trade Taylor? Taylor could have held the place and mentored Allen certainly as well as McCarron. At least sign someone that has started more than five games. Then they doubled down by deciding that going with Peterman and Allen was fine. Then they tripled down by starting Peterman. He is almost as much a rookie as Allen, two NFL starts. Now they are out of options. There are people on this site that would have done better.
  14. McDermott is still thinking of starting Peterman. That tells you all you need.
  15. I’m sorry I just can’t get excited about Peterman starting. He has what? Six more quarters of experience than Allen? We all know Allen is the future, what is he going to learn from watching Peterman? Is Peterman starting because the offensive line sucks? So what is he a sacrificial lamb? Whose fault is it the line sucks?
  16. He’s thinking of Russ Francis, just has the wrong number 81 not 88.
  17. By that logic why play Peterman or Allen? If the line is that bad just bring in guys that can take a punch. Or just run the ball every play.
