  1. Giving them some space was not what I was responding to, rather the premise that the media should be given as little access as possible.
  2. The NFL is in the entertainment business, why would ownership deny media access? They went so far as to create their own network. We the fans pay everyone involved, the owners, the coaches, the front office, the back office and the players. Why would you not want the fans engaged?
  3. I opened this not really knowing what this was about. Some RB examples were mentioned regarding rhythm. Simpson and Campbell were guys that wore defenders down, Csonka always had a sidekick so to speak, Kick and then Morris. Allen extended his career by becoming a role player. Not so sure about the rhythm thing.
  4. Trump starts a nuclear war to prevent investigation into his attempt to purchase Buffalo Bills.
  5. I don’t think I’ve listened to anything on the radio for more than a decade.
  6. This has nothing to do with these two guys other than one of them is a TE, has Knox signed yet?
  7. Why would you take a guy that excels at rushing up the middle and move him? Rushing up the middle is the shortest distance to the QB.
  8. Me too, as to Clowney, if Texas can’t pay him and they are at the very least entertaining a trade, does it need to be a first and Lawson?
  9. I hear you, if Clowney could bring what Mario brought in his first three years with Bills then I’d be okay with a trade. But I think Lawson and a first is more than they need to pay.
  10. This is a legitimate question, is Clowney the type of player the Bills want? Isn’t the knock on him that he takes plays off? I know there was a lot of hype when he was drafted. Has he lived up to it? I know there were injuries early on and I know he has been better the last two years.
  11. Peterman has a skill set?
  12. I don’t think they need to force anything. If someone comes available great if not go with what they have.
  13. So you are saying that on average 26% of a 53 man roster is UDFAs? That just seems high. "There is a trend to sign more street free agents or players who were on practice squads last year," Panthers general manager Marty Hurney said. "You might sign 15 undrafted free agents and only one or two make it. Often, you sign a bunch of undrafted players and you are letting them go before the start of training camp. Teams just aren't signing as many." http://www.espn.com/nfl/columns/clayton_john/1547265.html This would tend to dispute that.
  14. I’m not sure that many make it to the NFL, but let’s say you’re correct. How many of these guys ever see the field? Much less have any impact.
  15. Thanks Yolo that was really interesting and fun to watch.
  16. I’m not sure about your assessment, Greg had a career in the NFL basically working for two organizations, that’s pretty uncommon. People in the NFL get fired and hired all the time. This is conjecture, but I think when his time with the Bears ended he was happy in Chicago. Never struck me as a bitter guy. I did have the occasion to be on a beach with him after the Bills drafted JP, boy was his assessment of JP on the money. Just my two cents.
  17. I know him, he is a friend of a family member, he has been to my home. He is a nice guy. Through hard work he built himself a pretty good NFL career. However I have had the occasion to question his judgement.
  18. Best time to take a deep shot is second and two. Or it might only last seconds.
  19. Why are you discriminating against Sam Darnold? He deserves the same treatment as Rosen and Brady!
  20. Part of the process, they wanted to see if anyone would choose their mother over football.
  21. You could just change “unnamed” to Jerry Hughes.
  22. I could be wrong, but I think Spain was a cap casualty that wanted big money. When he didn’t get it he took a one year deal.
